*Yelp Elite Event: This location is right in the heart of Soho (conveniently located next to Bloomingdales) the upstairs space is beautiful. We were taught how to glam up in 10 minutes or less. Oscar and the rest of the Mac staff were very helpful in showing us different looks, and they were all very knowledgeable. Store was also very clean.

1st time was ok nice eye and lip

I have never written a review for MAC or any cosmetic counter UNLESS they are really bad, but in this case, I think they were really good. This is absolutely the nicest and helpful counter I been too! Majority of MACs I been to the girls are SO snobby and want to stand around and pick at their faces. But this one the guy knew what he was talking about and helped my friend picked a gorgeous lipstick! I have been to this MAC three times and I have not seen any problems or lack of customer service!

I would give this store a 3.5 if I could. I've had both pleasant experiences with good associates and meh ones with snobby ones. Your experience really depends on who's there. The store is next to the Bloomingdale's on Broadway. The old MAC stand inside of Bloomingdale's is closed. This MAC has two floors, the second floor is open to the public and quieter and less crowded- it's also where makeup sessions and private events are done. Prices are comparable to Sephora. It's usually not crowded which is especially appreciated in this area of town.

No one really asked if we needed anything when we were there for the first 5 minutes, until we went to the dazzleglass section by the counter. The sales associate...helped I don't know her name but she had orangey-red hair, was VERY helpful. She me get products from a discounted collection and she was very informative and gave me some postcards! But it really sucks how it takes the employees forever to get to you and they never ask you for your info like the other stores.

No! Zero customer service here. Artists seem very hungry for commission. Go if the high pressure sale is for you.

I walked into a space that covers a lot of ground, from snacks and drinks to beauty products, home goods, and collectibles, and the density of what is on display makes it easy to spend more time browsing than I planned. The snack selection is the strongest draw and covers an impressive range. I saw Asian versions of familiar American snacks sitting alongside Japanese and Korean originals, and the drink section downstairs is broad enough that finding something I have not tried before is a near certainty. The variety of drinks, many with anime or character branding, reflects a buying approach that goes beyond the standard convenience store selection. The beauty and skincare section upstairs is well stocked with Korean and Japanese brands that are not widely available at American drugstores. I browsed through everything from face wash to sheet masks and specialty treatments, and the prices are competitive for imported products of this type. Blind boxes occupy their own significant section, and the selection across different series is one of the better in the city, with reasonable pricing relative to what the same items cost at specialty toy stores. Home goods, toys, collectibles, and kawaii accessories fill the remaining floor space. For a one stop shop for Korean and Japanese lifestyle goods, snacks, and beauty products in Koreatown, TESO Life delivers a broad and browsable experience that rewards repeat visits.

I want to report that this website continues to post and promote products that are clearly a scam…read more In my case, I placed an order for body creams on March 3rd, and the company that processed the charge on my account was a completely different one called MELIO. Right after they charged me, the order was canceled with the excuse that I had requested the cancellation, which is absolutely false. I never canceled anything. Since then, my money has been in dispute because: The company does not respond to emails. They only send automated messages saying someone will get in touch with me, but no one ever does. Meanwhile, MELIO claims that they already sent the money to the seller and is now asking me to either pay again or provide my card number so they can try to charge me again. Absolutely not! This is robbery. I should not have to lose my money like this. And who is going to compensate me for the damage? This situation is unacceptable. I have already reported this case to: My credit card company The Better Business Bureau The appropriate authorities here in California These two companies are working together to scam people. I walked into a store that is essentially one large room, and the density of product on display meant navigating it during a busy period required some patience, but the selection within that compact space was broader than the size suggested. The Korean literature section covers both Korean language and English language editions across a range of genres, which makes it genuinely useful for anyone studying the language or looking for titles that are difficult to find at general bookstores in the city. I saw children's books in Korean, well stocked. The K pop side of the store covers albums, photocards, posters, keychains, stickers, and merchandise across a wide range of artists, with BTS having a particularly strong presence historically alongside newer groups. Pricing runs higher than what I would pay ordering online or finding the same items at a larger retailer, which is the standard trade off for a specialty shop in Manhattan. Album prices in particular can be steep, though sale events bring them down to more competitive territory. Individual accessory items like stickers and bookmarks are priced at a premium relative to their size, so going in with a sense of what I am willing to spend helps avoid sticker shock at the register. The store is a reliable stop for anyone looking for Korean books or K pop merchandise in a physical retail setting in New York, with the caveat that the pricing and the crowd level are both factors worth knowing about before I go.
