I wish there was a Teso Life in the Bay Area. I would definitely be a regular. I love the fact that they had both Korean and Japanese beauty products and lots of different Asian snacks. The staff was helpful and helped me to locate different items I was looking for. Teso Life, please consider opening one in the SF Bay Area!!

Stumbled upon TESO LIFE on Broadway, and I was so surprised to find so many affordable Japanese items here - from snacks and beauty to toys and collectibles! I couldn't resist grabbing some seaweed snacks for my flight back to Toronto and some cute Sanrio stationaries for my friend! Allin all, it is a very organized shop with tons of customers! Check out was also really fast. Definitely a must-vist!

They have snacks to ramen, beauty care, toys, housewares, schools supplies, and the prices are reasonable, the staff don't really bother you, but I notice that there is always security when shopping in NYC.

Smacked in the middle of Koreatown, this is a busy shop full of tourists. They have a lot of fun things inside! I came here since it was a safe haven during a hot summer in Manhattan. They have air conditioning, cold drinks, and tons of blind boxes to checkout. A lot of Asian essentials to buy too. This was a must while walking around town! And yes... they had lots of Smiski in stock :)

Such a fun place to shop around! If you are into mystery box figurines this is your place. I'm not a collector and never had any interest, but I saw a really cute collection of Nanci figurines that I thought I'd snag as a souvenir (one for myself and one for my mom). And just like that, I understand the hype of mystery boxes lol. There are sooo many collections out there that I never knew about! It's a slippery slope, so be careful. They also have very cute buildables, similar to Legos except it's cardboard (build cute flowers, bookends, scenarios like greenhouses and bakeries). The store also has so many other items: household goods, snacks, candies, beverages, and makeup + skincare from Asian brands that can be hard to find (this is from my perspective, a visitor from California Bay Area). Highly recommended!

Great store with INCREDIBLE variety and options of Asian goods at very reasonable prices. You will find from collector toys to fancy skincare, home goods, cleaning supplies, even pet snacks and cute decor pieces, every hello kitty item possible and huge variety of "junk" food lol. I really loved the store, the display of everything was clean and organized, the cashiers fast to evacuate a long line in a few minutes, everything that has a smell had a tester, prices of everything were clearly displayed. Such a beautiful store. I was able to find what I was looking for and I'm happy to have discovered this place. Think Chinatown but without the chaos.

Store reminds me of kpop. Nice bright pink. Quick foods on floor one. All the Asian snacks you crave on floor 2 along with toys and plushies. Very cute store.

This location is the grand behemoth of all Teso Life locations. While I love the Bath Beach Brooklyn location of this store, this one near Koreatown had more variety in terms of food, makeup, kitchen, snacks and hygiene supplies you would find in a Japanese konbini (term for convenient stores). It has two floors and the 2nd floor is where they store all the fun attractions. The other day I needed help finding some Japanese jiggly pancakes mix. The store is huge and the aisle signs are in Japanese so it is needed. So much staff in this location and they are all super helpful. If I lived near this store, my snack spirit animal would never want to leave. Very worthy of looking for any passing tourists or local NYers. Stop by when you get a chance.

Solid retail experience at this Teso Life. -well staffed -fast cashiers -well air conditioned -good layout: drinks and quick snacks downstairs - everything else upstairs -fairly priced -solid selection of snacks- ranging from multiple flavors of Japanese kit kats to hard to find flavors of Lays chips Anyone in need to get exotic snacks or snacks they would normally have in Asia, this Teso is the place for you.

Very cute store! I can't believe I haven't even known of its existence! Randomly stumbled upon it while killing time in the city. Very well-lit and 2 stories, so pretty spacious as well. When I went, the bottom floor had trinkets and toys, with some sale snacks towards the middle and drinks (ramune sodas!) and mini-grocery stuff towards the back. Upstairs, you'll find even MORE snacks, imported, and for GREAT prices. Like the lowest prices I've seen for imported Lays and Pringles with those crazy flavors like roasted chicken wings, seaweed, prime pork rib. $2.99 and lower. Also a whole bunch of cosmetics, moneycat piggy banks and household items. Seems pretty easy to go in to browse and walk out with something you weren't expecting. Kinda regretting not going with the $10 Mew chapstick now. Will definitely be returning to see their product rotation.

We made a significant purchase. ($3.000) The very next day many of the items purchased went on sale. I was notified of the sale via emails direct from Alice & Olivia. Sadly, I left town and could not assist with the adjustment. I asked my daughter to return to the store for an adjustment since it was less than 12 hours since our initial purchase. She went to the store for an adjustment with her receipt. The store manager, Danni gave my daughter the run around regarding her adjustment. She was told she needed the receipt and the clothing. My daughter had to return to the store again with the receipt and clothing in hand the next day. Danni gave her the run around again. She did not want to honor the adjustment but finally did. I had to call and speak with Danni on the phone to make this happen. Danni said she was following store policy. I googled the store adjustment policy and it lists a 7 day adjustment policy. The adjustments we were requesting was day # 2 & # 3 after the sale. The worst part about this whole experience is my daughter is physically handicapped. She had to make two additional trips to the store for an adjustment. As a mother of a handicapped daughter, this shocked me at how insensitive Danni handled the entire situation. Danni can see my daughter is physically handicapped! If the adjustment return policy is to have the receipt and clothing in hand it should be listed on the A &O website. It is not. I feel Danni needs sensitivity training. She could have handled the adjustment request much differently especially seeing my daughter is handicapped. This will be the last time I purchase anything from this location. The purchase which was a good experience turned into an awful one.

They're owned by Urban Outfitters which also owns Free People so the adjacencies between the aesthetics, products and target consumers make sense. They're geared toward the mid 20s to mid-40s age range, and prices tend to be on the mid to higher side for this type of product. Not to level of high-end designer but generally more than your mid-range mall retailers. In the countless number of times I've visited, staff here usually are cordial. There's a main level which has the main entrance from street-side, new seasonal collections, accessories and the checkout/register area towards the back of the store. Then there's a basement level which is accessible from with Rockefeller Center. The fitting rooms and home goods section are downstairs.

A large fake Christmas tree is placed in the center when first walking inside through the entrance. Then, a huge red escalator of heading up and down to each floor is behind the tree. Additionally. everything's either being neatly organized or stacked on most of the shelves and inside drawers except for a couple of areas here and there. The price range is reasonable for most apparel items besides the thick puffer jackets + sweaters + graphic tees. Even though there seem to be signs for the fitting room and cashiers/self-checkout, it's still pretty confusing to walk around and find stuff imo because of how large the Uniqlo space is. I have to flag down and ask different staff about the whereabouts of cashiers as I'm paying with cash. There's a bit of a line for those paying by cash despite several 5-6 cashiers being present while no line at all for self-checkout (card only). No line for the fitting room though. Generally, staff is shown as helpful + amiable + patient in a professional manner towards customers. My favorite section is probably by the heattech area. There're 3 various heattech types of warmth for both adults and children. Of course you can wear whichever layer as you please at the end of the day. All the desired temperatures are simply suitable for preferred reference anyway. The Original (Mild Weather) - 5°C to 20°C or 41°F to 68°F Extra Warmth (Colder Days) - -5°C to 15°C or 23°F to 59°F Ultra Warm (Extreme Cold) - -20°C to 10°C or -4°F to 50°F I think The Original layer of heattech is already pretty warm for the 30s-40s temperature here in NYC. The fabric is the thinnest in material. Very comfy to wear without being too stuffy on the inside. I bought two long sleeved heattech pieces today ($19.90 each). They also come in different colors and styles that might be suited to the personal taste of each and every customer. I'm not sure if they have a restroom for the public, will have to search for it next time...

I was greeted by Marie, who showed me one of the coats that I loved on sight. I turned and was instantly riveted by a magnificent sapphire blue coat dress displayed on a mannequin. Full disclosure --- Dressing rooms trigger the worst of my claustrophobic reactions. As though she could read my mind, Marie whisked a medium sized dress (size selected by me) over my turtleneck and trousers. It was gorgeous, but the fit didn't meet my high expectations. Marie instantly recognized that I should be in a size small, and in a matter of seconds had me in the smaller size. Cinderella's reaction to her Fairy Godmother's fashion magic couldn't have been more joyous than mine when I saw myself in the full length mirror. As a woman in the 7th decade of life, I can state with hard-earned authority, this was easily the most transformative experience I've ever had in my long career as a fashionista. Fast forward, I wore the dress to an event of Friday. I've had custom made dresses that didn't fit every inch of my body like this one, or flatter my figure as perfectly. Equally amazing is that the dress is so comfortable, I didn't want to take it off when I got home. On a scale of one to ten, everything about the experience --- the service, the quality of the fabric and the magic of the perfect tailoring scores off the scale to an easy 20 points.
