She really pulled out all the stops to make me feel pretty on my special day.  First, she spent extra time carefully filling in my lashes the night before, then on the day of, took a complete inventory and accentuated the best features of my face. She was friendly, courteous and easy to work with. She also made sure my makeup stayed on for the rest of the day for that essential camera-ready look.  Sarah makes sure she's up on the latest trends, caters to your preferences and is able to offer suggestions in case you need some ideas to get the look you want. I tend to like chestnut browns and gold with a cut crease when getting my makeup professionally, but she didn't do a cut crease and she used a dark grey eyeshadow for the corner of my eyes. Not the most flattering combo and I had to ask her to add some gold to brighten up my eyes a bit 2. She was about 15-20 mins getting started on my hair and makeup, and was also late for her next. Appointment as a result. I think communicating ahead of time that you're running behind would have been appreciated. 3. When she started styling my hair she said she wanted to do large Hollywood curls... these were basic curls. Looked nice but wasn't the vision she pitched. You can see it didn't turn out bad, but definitely not a very high end place but charges decently high prices in my opinion.

She asked questions that indicated she knew from experience what details were pertinent to her styling (e.g. What does the back of your dress look like and does your skin feel oily or dry usually), and she truly listened to what I said I wanted. I absolutely loved both my hair and makeup, but in addition, it was such a pleasure to have Kennedy trapped in our hotel room for hours during the wedding day - she was full of useful information and she was so calm! She put buffer time into our schedule so that we wouldn't be rushed which helped me to stay calm too, what a de-stressing presence she has! I text her about three times and she still doesn't answer. This is four days before my wedding! I wait thirty minutes outside of her apartment and seriously nothing. I texted her after I left and asked if we could reschedule or whatever, and she still didn't reply. It was so unprofessional. I wrote a review on her Facebook page which she deleted. I had to find someone the day before my wedding to do my eyelashes since she bailed on me.
