I tend to like chestnut browns and gold with a cut crease when getting my makeup professionally, but she didn't do a cut crease and she used a dark grey eyeshadow for the corner of my eyes. Not the most flattering combo and I had to ask her to add some gold to brighten up my eyes a bit 2. She was about 15-20 mins getting started on my hair and makeup, and was also late for her next. Appointment as a result. I think communicating ahead of time that you're running behind would have been appreciated. 3. When she started styling my hair she said she wanted to do large Hollywood curls... these were basic curls. Looked nice but wasn't the vision she pitched. You can see it didn't turn out bad, but definitely not a very high end place but charges decently high prices in my opinion.

I called to help my really good friend find a good salon, since my friend wasn't having much luck (most salons were snobbish and hung up on her regarding perms for long hair). I called and spoke with Kristen, explaining that my friend has not been to a hair salon before and what she was looking for. Kristen was so easy to connect with and answered all my questions, relaying helpful information I passed along to my friend. I got amazing friendly vibes from her so I instantly knew this was the perfect place! My friend went in and they already knew who she was, which gave her so much comfort and relief. She said that everyone she came in contact with was so sweet and caring. She has a consultation with Stephanie, who tested my friend's hair and gave her feedback she found extremely helpful to help her hair repair and when it was best to get a perm. My friend loved how honest, knowledgeable and caring Stephanie was and the time she is willing to take in the future to take care of her, she felt really happy and comfortable with her. The service that Stephanie was able to provide for my friend that was safer for her hair was a touch-up to cover her grays, and it turned out amazing! She looks like she is in her 20's again! I spent nearly 400$ to get a "Brazilian blowout" "smoothing" treatment and I'm so beyond disappointed. My hair is the same if not more dry and course than before the treatment. I wanted something to temporarily straighten my hair and I got confused by the messages with the salon which is my fault. But now after all is said and done, I'm just upset my hair feels and looks just a little bit worse if anything 4 hours of salon time and 400$ later. The lady Angela who did it was nice and did say it wouldn't straighten my hair all the way just make it more manageable. I just am very disappointed, as one would be.

I was pleasantly surprised with the wash portion that was truly like a spa! It's a quiet dark room with calming music playing as they wash your hair and give you a scalp massage. I was also offered a drink when I first walked in! The blowout was efficient and quick - the whole process took less than an hour. As someone who RARELY straightens her curly hair, this blowout has me thinking I need to be doing this more often. If I'm ever back in UT and needing a blowout, I'm coming here!
