I am glad I found Computes IT Solutions. They sent me Angel, who has a name that describes him well. I had a long list of things I wanted to fix, change or improve, and not just limited to my 3 Apple devices, backups, sync, etc, but also restoring lost music, programming a new vacuum-robot cleaner, etc. Angel was quick, efficient, helpful and very kind. I plan to use them always from now on

I employed "Skals IT" to speed up my laptop and fix the "no sounds" out of speakers or headphones…read moreissue it recently had. Had happened in the last two days, were working and just suddenly stopped working. But did work to an external source like extended screen. The good - he accessed my laptop by remote connection and he cleared a lot of bloatware with CC Cleaner free version. And did get my laptop to run better. But he couldn't get my sound to work on on speakers or headphones and after uninstalling and reinstalling Realtek drivers a few times, he stated that the sound-card must have failed on the laptop, which either requires a used motherboard to be fitted (because new aren't available) or buy a new laptop. The bad: So I did some digging and found an app called "Fortrek for windows". I paid for one year's service and "Fortrek" went right through my laptop, cleared up more junk on it AND updated every driver that was out of date. It rebooted my laptop after all processes and guess what? My sound is now working on the speakers and on the headphones perfectly.

I wish I could give zero stars, but to leave a review, I have to select one star…read more I brought my MacBook Pro to uBreakiFix in Miami Lakes for a software loop issue, hoping their positive reputation would mean I was in capable hands. The original problem was purely software: the machine would power on, show the Apple logo, prompt for an update, and then restart into internet recovery and repeat that cycle over and over. Crucially, the computer did power on. When I picked it up the next day, I was told it couldn't be fixed because it was more complicated, but when I got home, it wouldn't even turn on. I discovered the battery was disconnected and a securing sticker was missing. When I questioned them, they admitted to opening the machine, which felt dishonest after they'd initially said they hadn't. While they may be proficient with other devices, I cannot recommend them for Apple products based on this lack of transparency and care. Thank you for your response, but an apology and a warranty offer do not fix the lack of honesty and professionalism I experienced. To provide more context, I discovered the issue on Friday after your business had closed. I called on Saturday, and I was told there was no time to look at it and that I should bring it back on Tuesday because Monday was a holiday. After bringing the MacBook back on Tuesday, I called around 5:30 PM to check on the status. The person at the front desk told me it was ready to be picked up, meaning it would be returned in the same condition I brought it in--with the software loop problem, but still powering on. Shortly after I mentioned in a comment that I might take the device to Apple, I was suddenly told to wait a moment, and the staff then came back to say it actually wasn't ready after all. This kind of conflicting information only reinforces my lack of trust in your service

Here's the corrected and more focused Yelp review, emphasizing the warranty refusal and lack of accountability: uBreakiFix Miami Lakes - AVOID at ALL COSTS! Warranty? What Warranty?! They refused to acknowledge their technician's mistake and claimed the water damage wasn't covered by their warranty. Let me be clear: this is unacceptable. The damage was a direct result of their shoddy repair work, and they should have honored their 1-year warranty without question. Instead, they gave me the runaround, suggesting I file another insurance claim for damage THEY caused! The level of incompetence and lack of accountability is astounding. I ended up having to repair the phone myself, at my own expense, after uBreakiFix left me with a useless device. To add insult to injury, when I tried to explain the situation again recently, I was told by an employee (Alex) after he spoke with Cesar Hernandez, that uBreakiFix refuses to take any responsibility. This is after nearly a year of trying to get them to do the right thing. uBreakiFix clearly doesn't care about its customers or its reputation. They are quick to take your money but refuse to stand behind their work. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this business. Find a reputable repair shop - even if it costs a little more - it will save you a mountain of frustration and potentially save your device. I am now pursuing legal action against them for breach of contract and negligence. Don't make the same mistake I did. Choose wisely. Choose anyone but uBreakiFix.

I paid for a frame and keyboard replacement, which was never done -- the laptop was only cleaned. I know my old Mac by its marks. That was the first scam I noticed when I got home, but the biggest problem was getting my Mac back. This person came to my location to take it, then told me it was ready but that I had to pay extra for the return trip, something he had never mentioned before. I told him I would pick it up myself, yet he persistently demanded payment through CashApp even though he had my Mac, and I didn't know where he lived or worked. He became rude and offensive when I refused to send money without having my laptop in hand. While I was driving to meet him, he kept sending aggressive messages demanding payment, which I ignored because I was driving. When I arrived at the location he gave me -- apparently his gym -- I sent him my location through Apple so he could see I was there, but he continued asking for money and insulting me. I told him clearly I would not pay until he showed up, and he kept offending me, so I warned him that I would call the police to recover my Mac. Minutes later, he appeared at the entrance of the gym, started yelling and insulting me, and acted aggressively. I remained calm, recording the entire conversation because I knew this behavior would escalate after his earlier messages -- and I was right. He spent several minutes yelling insults until he finally took my Mac out of his car, and I showed him proof of payment through CashApp. He then handed it to me with a nasty attitude, continued cursing as he walked away, and kept sending offensive messages afterward. Later, I texted him again to say I wouldn't let his grotesque, gangster-like behavior slide, as I had only acted respectfully as a client. You can see in the screenshots the disgusting and threatening messages this person wrote to me simply for demanding my rights as a customer. There will be a formal complaint and legal consequences for his threats and offensive conduct. I hope this helps others stay away from this dishonest and aggressive scammer.

Do yourself a favor and go ANYWHERE ELSE BUT HERE! Still trying to get my computer back after 6…read moreWEEKS. (Pictures attached for evidence) Not sure how this guy still had a business and best believe we have already reported him to the Bad Business Bureau. My boyfriend wanted to fix my Mac 13'' for my birthday and called Kenneth who said he could have it fixed WITHIN A WEEK MAX, therefore, April 27th we dropped off the computer to him. We should of noticed the first red flag, he only accept cash payments, second red flag, he asks for way over 50% of the price as "deposit". He quoted us $475 for the job and had us deposit $350. We called after the week when it was supposed to be ready and Kenneth Said the part he ordered from China came in damaged and needed to order a new one or we could pay an extra $100 for him to order it local. He said he'd need another week or so to get the new part replaced. 4 WEEKS after he told my boyfriend his place had a flood and the new part he order now had liquid damage and it wasn't his fault. At this point my boyfriend just wanted the computer and deposit back since he said it will take another month for a new piece to come in. He refuses to give a refund of the deposit, he started cursing out at my boyfriend calling him "a**hole", screaming over the phone and not letting my boyfriend talk AT ALL to try to come to a solution. He would hang up, we would call back and then he picks up and doesn't talk, that's what he calls "harassing" - a customer trying to figure out what's going on. (Video) wish I was there early enough to record him screaming and cursing. Not to mention the many times within this whole month he told us "I'll call you back with an update" and NEVER DID, with a thousand excuses every single time. Well, we are 8 WEEKS IN still trying to get my computer from him. We showed up at his place and he refused to show us the "damaged" pieces he ordered, he didn't want to show us the receipt of the parts to prove he did in fact order new parts... HE IS A LIAR. He said he "will never lose" and charged us an extra $50 to get this part local. Today, JUNE 9th we called him early morning and he said to come at 4 PM to pick it up... once we got here he still needs an extra 30 MIN to work on it... it's 5:40PM and still here sitting at the parking lot, after a 35 min drive for him to JUST NOW work on fixing it. This is not a false review and it's pretty obvious to me these "positive" reviews are fishy since all of the negative ones have the same things in common; unprofessional service, quotes changing, long time for repairs and an extremely rude, arrogant and con artist of an owner.
