The beer selection is great. It is not too loud and it is a nice place to relax after a long day or just because!

We played tons of games on the simulator, ate yummy snacks and had a blast. Ryan, who runs the place was super helpful and made our experience really fun. If you're looking for a good time for all ages, this place is definitely worth checking out.

I would not go back again for dinner - high prices, not great preparations - but the Jalepeno Poppers and the French Fries were excellent. I think Loft & Lies would be good for a special occassion family, friends or company game night with appetizers. Mixed drinks, good beer selection (same as whatever is offered at Grain Station, across the street), only one cider. We played the multi-game for 15 minutes total, nobody else was there and we mostly just sat at our table, visiting, sipping, chatting and snacking before we ordered dinner. I never saw any wine choices. I would give this place 3 stars for food, but it loses a star for not disclosing the charges for using the games. At the time of this review, the charges are not mentioned on their web site, nor do they mention it when you make a reservation, it just shows up on your bill. If we had known we were being charged for sitting there, we might've used our time to shoot more Zombies or gone elsewhere to visit.

Pool tables and video poker and lots of tables and an outside area. The bartender was very friendly, quiet at first but anyone who has been following us for awhile knows my bf knows how to talk and he talks to anyone and gets them going. I took pictures of what we had, both were decent. The tacos a little greasy but then again, that is not the restaurants fault, most certain it's just the product, I have had those at home before and still very greasy. BF had the corned beef sand (cold) on sourdough, and nothing was left, so I guess it was good? Overall an interesting place with an interesting view. Will be back soon we hope!

Come in chairs back money's gone. Lady we know next to us says bartender took your money. Asked bartender where's my twenty dollars. Says I took it out you were gone a long time. Ten minutes is not a long time. Nasty woman wanted to argue with us about it. Figured we'd get kicked out. Won't be doing anymore business with this place they obviously don't want the business. Hope she liked the $5.00 dollar tip on $65.00 bill. Look at the rest of the reviews on this place. Lot's of one Star reviews mostly about the owner but the skinny bartender is no better.

I am told...They had great alcoholic beverages (said half of our party-not everyone had alcohol). The food was mixed reviews. 1) steak bites were delicious. Blue cheese butter is thebomb.com. 2) everything else was sub par. Burger was supposed to be med-rare, came out well done/jerky. Pizza was raw dough, not melted cheese and they pulled it "because the sides were burning." They could have put foil around it and actually cooked it. OR recommend we stick with regular pizza dough when we confirmed we don't have an allergy but was wanting a "lighter" low carb pizza. They also had an anecdote of another customer who ordered the cauli pizza but served them regular dough and it was a true food allergy and a problematic experience for the customer (??? Why would you choose to share that? lol). Tbh a nuked hot pocket will cook the cheese better than our pizza was. Salads were ok. Nothing to rave about. Desserts were ok I'm told. Didn't have any myself. I was done at that point. Service needs improvement. Not just weird PTSD patronage stories shared, but I felt bad dragging family out to the area so I tried paying without them knowing, slipping the credit card toward the waitress without everyone at the table noticing. And she knocked the card out of my hand when reaching for plates, announcing that "your credit card fell." I don't care if it was my bday or not I wasn't going to make my family pay for this meal. I would not come back and I don't recommend it. For everything it was ~$160 +40 tip which I feel salty about giving considering the quality of our meal and service. I'm a good tipper regardless of experience because it's the right thing to do/pay it forward, etc. but I was pissed driving home lol for $200 I could have picked up steak and lobster and cooked at home.

I ordered a kids cheeseburger sub tots, and Bavarian pretzels with cheese. The bun for the kids cheeseburger was so soft and fresh, and the burger itself was delicious and perfectly cooked/well seasoned. The tots of course are yummy and great with ketchup or ranch; nice and crispy on the outside soft and fluffy on the inside. The Bavarian pretzel with beer cheese sauce was awesome.. nice and soft, the cheese was delicious. I enjoyed it so much I'm ordering it for DoorDash again; about once a week I ordered DoorDash because I don't feel like cooking - this is becoming my new fave.

They have a great selection of beers on top, and aren't stingy with letting you taste before you commit. They're also great at giving you suggestions if you describe the kinds of beers that you like. For example, I don't like extremely happy beers and they have suggested several that really hit the spot for me. My latest good surprise was their "Red, White, and Blueberry Cream Ale" - from the name, I was pretty sure I wouldn't like it because I don't like fruity beers, generally. However, they suggested I give it a taste. After a sample I decided to go for a pint. Not too fruity at all. I ended up going home with a growler of the stuff. The atmosphere is nice and open, and on good weather days they open up the front to give you that true open air experience. I've been here with friends, to watch World Cup games, and with family. It's always a comfortable vibe and very enjoyable. They also have a nice menu with a lot of variety. For example I've had their burgers, tacos, various sandwiches, and other things I can't think of right now. I haven't been disappointed. If you're in the Newberg area and looking for a good local hangout, this is it.
