I order a small bread platter to soak up all of that buttery goodness! We went there for drinks and appetizers and we got the steak bites, bread and burrata salad. A great combo. Sitting outside on the balcony is nice too. You get to enjoy the fresh air and the view.

I am told...They had great alcoholic beverages (said half of our party-not everyone had alcohol). The food was mixed reviews. 1) steak bites were delicious. Blue cheese butter is thebomb.com. 2) everything else was sub par. Burger was supposed to be med-rare, came out well done/jerky. Pizza was raw dough, not melted cheese and they pulled it "because the sides were burning." They could have put foil around it and actually cooked it. OR recommend we stick with regular pizza dough when we confirmed we don't have an allergy but was wanting a "lighter" low carb pizza. They also had an anecdote of another customer who ordered the cauli pizza but served them regular dough and it was a true food allergy and a problematic experience for the customer (??? Why would you choose to share that? lol). Tbh a nuked hot pocket will cook the cheese better than our pizza was. Salads were ok. Nothing to rave about. Desserts were ok I'm told. Didn't have any myself. I was done at that point. Service needs improvement. Not just weird PTSD patronage stories shared, but I felt bad dragging family out to the area so I tried paying without them knowing, slipping the credit card toward the waitress without everyone at the table noticing. And she knocked the card out of my hand when reaching for plates, announcing that "your credit card fell." I don't care if it was my bday or not I wasn't going to make my family pay for this meal. I would not come back and I don't recommend it. For everything it was ~$160 +40 tip which I feel salty about giving considering the quality of our meal and service. I'm a good tipper regardless of experience because it's the right thing to do/pay it forward, etc. but I was pissed driving home lol for $200 I could have picked up steak and lobster and cooked at home.

The establishment is lovely; the decor is modern and clean with cute Wolfhound art featured throughout. We ordered the featured Jalapeño Popper Smash: two smash patties with habanero ghost pepper jack cheese, pomegranate bacon jam, cream cheese spread, serrano aioli, and pickled jalapeños on a toasted pretzel bun. While we waited, we sipped on a well cocktail. The burger was incredible--innovative and very well thought out. The service was prompt and engaging. I can really tell the staff has a passion for everything they do; it's very refreshing and definitely deserves a shot and repeated business!

Music was excellent; audible but not intrusive. Comfy chairs. Lower lighting, well placed. Service was excellent, friendly and fast. I think our server's name was Mikayla; a gem. Attentive and observant but never intrusive. Drinks: my old fashioned was absolutely perfect and my husband's margarita was fine. Appetizers: beer cheese was well balanced and a bit runny, which I prefer over the library paste version some places serve. The elotes dip was a standout, mildly spicy, with lime in the cilantro, and warm, crispy chips. (Whatever is in their seasoning for chips and fries should be sold separately -- I wanted to try it on everything.) We probably should have stopped there, as the portions were abundant, but our mains were amazing. Smash burger was insanely juicy, nice and onion-y with a few Crunchy Brown Bits around the edges. The roll was fresh and tender, with a good crust; flavorful, not just a shingle. The fries were the best I've had in Salem. Get the garlic-thyme upgrade; you won't regret it. My ribeye was cooked perfectly. Unfortunately they were out of both compound butters, apparently due to a busy Friday, but everything was well seasoned. The vegetable of the day was roasted Brussels sprouts with a sweet-and-salty sauce, almost like kettle corn; amazing. The outer leaves were caramelized without being burned, and the hearts were tender but not mushy. Crispy fried onions were perfect. Fried potatoes were fine, and enriched by their placement between the steak and the sprouts. The diners who came in before us were all smiles when they left, so it wasn't a fluke. Can't wait to come back!

The Spot Sports bar has a good selection of TV's from all views, they have a few game machines, digital music box, pool tables and bar seating. It is 21 an over only. We also tried their bacon cheeseburger and fries, it was very good, lots of condiments, great tasting burger and perfectly cooked bacon. One of the options that I appreciate is the fact that they also serve breakfast. Great option for early morning sports fanatics! The staff was very friendly and attentive, we eat at the bar, they have all of your favorite cocktails and a nice list of microbrews as well. We were very impressed at the layout, food and drink cost, food options and a very friendly staff. This might be our go to place in the neighborhood, I am so glad they opened. I would highly recommend you stop by and experience The Spot Sports Bar.
