Butter cookies have fetching design but see if they are fresh.

Satiate that sweet tooth +'s: + Chewy center and glossy meringue cookies come in a variety of flavors: pistachio, chocolate, oreo, chocolate chip, and etc. + Pleasant service. The ladies verified our coffee and dessert orders. The free macaron with a coffee purchase helped! + Seating in front of their kiosk stand made it nice to take a break away from the Food Court scene. Save your calories -'s: - Some flavors work and some don't. - Some bites left me wondering how long have these macarons been on display. - Coffee comes from a Nespresso machine. - Poodle butter cookie so fetching in design but stale. - Pound cake was dry. Stick to the macarons. Altogether the place is a nice respite if you need to rest your feet and bags. It's an A-OK place by Yelp rating standards so 3 stars.

I've been such a huge macaron lover within the past year. I knew when I got to ATL that I wanted to see if they had any spots that were going to be good. Pulled out the trusty Yelp app and then bam: Macaron Queen. It's located at the mall right outside of Sephora. We walked through the Sephora doors and there it was. Very bright and welcoming. I've tried some new flavors that I haven't seen in macaron form such as: thin mint and raspberry lemonade. I can't remember all the flavors I got but they were all good. I would definitely come back when I return to ATL. You can also order their macarons online and be delivered to you!! That is so awesome. They're light and creamy. They're gluten free too. It's worth it to me being that they were nominated as #1 macaron shop for FOUR years straight. Please come and check them out.

    My daughter loved her cake!!

My daughter is obsessed with macroons and Paris and has asked for me to find some small ones for her birthday. Lucky for me I noticed in the mall they had a large birthday cake version I knew she would love. She was so happy and couldn't stop taking photos. It does take a few days to make so try to call in advance if ordering one. Also my younger kids got a few small ones to try out and they loved them.

I was staying in Atlanta for a wedding, and we happened to be near the Perimeter Mall. Whilst searching through their shops/vendor list, we came across Macaron Queen. As a self proclaimed macaron fiend, I was ecstatic. We made our way over to the shop, and the macarons were delightfully displayed. A bevy of delicacy and color that made my mouth water. The Queen has quite a few flavors to select from, and after two full minutes of hmmming and hawing, we decided on Strawberry Cheesecakes, Fresh Raspberry, Fresh Strawberry, Vanilla, and Mango White Chocolate. My Mum noticed that when you spend $5, you receive a free coffee, which the shop attendant confirmed (but did not offer...What's up Georgia? I thought you Southerners were supposed to be super friendly and nice?). We sat down in the adorable seating area, and immediately tried two macarons. The cookie shells are passable, but the insides (raspberry and strawberry) were filled with jam. Yes, macarons are commonly filled with jam, but all of macarons I've ever had are filled with the lightest buttercream (and as previously stated, I'm slightly obsessed with these French confections). The buttercream insides kind of taste like cool whip, not like buttercream. These look sweet and dainty, but they're misleading! For the perfect macaron, maybe try Laduree in Miami!

Cashier never moved from that spot. Even when we started walking away. must've been having a shitty day.

Stood at the counter for 10mins without being greeted. When I finally said,"Helllooo." Cashier turned around from the coffee machine with an attitude. Won't ever spend my money here. Macaroons take 5mins to purchase

Macaroon Queen is located in Perimeter Mall on the 1st floor at the entrance of Von Maur. It is a vibrant bakery stand that offers a variety of fun flavors of macaroons and nespresso coffee. Macaroons Purchased: Cappuccino Lemon raspberry mousse Matcha green tea Raspberry white chocolate Mango white chocolate Pros: I loved the cute decorations and colors of each macaroon. Their prices are very reasonable for a cup of espresso coffee, and with the purchase of any coffee coffee it comes with a free macaroon. The flavors offered are definitely more exotic then the typical french macaroon. I appreciated that the macaroons were not overly sweet. Cons: The macaroons did not taste fresh. They had a refrigerated flavor embedded in them. They were not as soft and crunchy as I like for a french macaroon. In addition, certain flavors were not sufficiently pronounced for me. The matcha green tea was barely noticeable and the lemon raspberry tasted similar to the raspberry white chocolate.

I have mixed feelings about Macaron Queen. The little boutique is cute and a good addition to Perimeter, which has awful, awful food choices. However, I have some complaints: 1. Most important - I didn't like the macarons. Too creamy and soggy. Disappointing. 2. The staff could be friendlier and warmer 3. You must buy water, no tap water, which always annoys steerage class, like myself :) 4. Snobby vibe. 5. Overpriced The positives: the waffle I had transported me to my time in Brussels. Excellent. I was told that the dough is imported from Paris. I think some the uppity attitude was imported here as well. I only give out 4-5 star reviews where I'm treated with well. And the macarons even then don't get more than a 2 at best.

Americano with extra cream. Just the way I like it.

What's not to love. Excellent coffee and yummy gelato. Kind server allowed us to sample many flavors of gelato before settling on Pistachio yum. We also had an almond macaron which is one of the best flavors.

The best macaroons in Atlanta. Wide variety of flavors. Princess, Sprinkles, Champagne & Mango are my favs.

Although I don't really have a sweet tooth, I do have a weakness for macarons. I recently took a macaron baking class at Cook's Warehouse and I have a newfound appreciation for just how freakin' difficult they are to make and why they're so pricey. I love trying different flavors but often find that they taste rather generic. They're sweet, but it's difficult to actually identify the flavor. I think I may have found the jackpot with these. Their prices are reasonable (I bought 8 for $11.95) and they taste amazing. The flavors are distinct and it's easy to tell them apart. Pistachio is always a favorite of mine, but I also really loved the blueberry cheesecake and the chocolate. They have kiosks inside Perimeter Mall and Lenox Mall, so it's dangerously convenient to nosh on these while you're shopping.

I love how there are paintings/chemical formulas with flowers on the tables as their decor. Their drinks are very affordable and reasonable. I got the lavender latte which was around $5 and an Americano for about $3. The lavender latte had a good syrup taste, but not the best lavender latte I had. It was good though (4/5!) Some of the macaroon flavors were lacking :( -earl grey: I had high hopes because I love a good earl grey drink and pastry. But I didn't taste any of the earl gray flavor -lavender honey: I love flower flavors. I got their lavender latte granted. I think only the aftertaste has a sliver of lavender to it. It didn't give me that warm feeling like a spring menu would. -pistachio: only the aftertaste had a slight nutty flavor, pretty disappointed with how it came out -rose lychee: The crème had a slight lychee flavor like kind of fruity. It was a miss for me -salted caramel: This one had an obvious flavor -matcha: crazy enough, this one was the best Overall, I wasn't a crazy fan of their macaroons. We got 6 macarons for about $18, which came in a cute little box. It's a small cafe, but I came in the afternoon where there was only one or two other pairs of people here at the tables. Bathroom required a code. Free parking in the plaza!

My sister LOVED this cake! I wanted a special cake for her 30th since she hasn't eaten cake in 5 years! Christine from Baking Sweet Scents was up to the challenge and spent time with me listing ingredients so we were completely sure it was safe. I really appreciated the time and effort. Christine also deals with some allergens so she understands the difficulties. I selected the chocolate almond flour cake, double layered, semi-naked, with stevia instead of sugar, and macarons on top to be nestled into the specific flowers I wanted, gladiolus for August birthday month. I see this trend becoming popular, thanks Christine!

Sugar Cloud has a very attractive store front and the interior matches that. I love all the things they have displayed in the store with coffee and candy and other stuff for sale. The donuts are large in size and they make their own dough daily. First one we tried was the filled chocolate buttercream. It was truly FILLED with chocolate buttercream.
