I got a canele, a variety of choux, and some cupcakes. I enjoyed the canele and it had a very nice crust but the center wasn't as custardy as some I've had but regardless I enjoyed it and I also rarely see caneles so it was a nice treat. The choux were the winners for me though, filled with various creams (I got mango, pandan, and pistachio). I really liked the choux pastry and found it light and crisp. The filling was also perfect, light, held its texture and didn't spill out as I was eating it, and perfect level of sweetness for me. I also enjoyed flavor of the cupcakes but I did think they were slightly dense. Overall, this was such a great find and glad we stopped by. It may end up becoming one of my staples to have pastries for the week!

All the flavors are amazing, and you can't go wrong with any of them (unless you're not a sweets person!). Michelle also tried her best to accommodate special requests like different add-ins or variations of the cookies! Here are my thoughts on each cookie I've tried: Spiced Chai: These are perfect if you're not a fan of super sweet cookies. A wonderful blend of spices - almost like gingerbread in cookie form. White Chocolate Macadamia: Love these - white chocolate and macadamia go together so well, and like all the other cookies, they have the perfect amount of crispness on the edges and gooeyness on the inside. Matcha: My little sister loves these. I think she could eat a whole dozen by herself if given the chance. They are her favorite, and she can be very picky, so that says something! Sprinkles: The best sugar cookies you'll ever have, with an added burst of color from rainbow sprinkles, which makes everything better. A favorite of my other sister. White chocolate cranberry oatmeal: I love oatmeal cookies, and these definitely hit the spot if you're a fellow oatmeal lover! They are elevated with white chocolate and cranberry instead of the traditional raisins, and I'm not complaining! Fudge with mint (December only): Not for the faint of heart...these are loaded with rich chocolatey, gooeyness and tastes like a brownie disguised as a cookie. The mint flavor adds a delightful touch! Java Chip: Coffee makes everything better, and that includes cookies! Made with real instant coffee, these are so addicting and hard to put down! Choco chip: You won't find a more perfectly baked chocolate chip cookie than here! The added salt really elevates the flavor and they are so yummy. Choco chip with walnuts: I am super partial to walnuts, so I like these even better than the regular chocolate chip cookies. Yay!! I asked to try one of the chocolates he bought--the Blueberry Chocolate. I picked up the rest for my BF and me. Chocolate Bar "Black" - I passed this out at the local theater where I volunteer, and everyone loved it. Dark chocolate is so in right now. What I liked most was that the texture wasn't dry, yet it still had a strong, pleasantly bitter flavor. I assumed it was around 60-70% cacao, and after looking it up, it's actually 62-63%. It's definitely sweeter than the dark chocolates I normally eat, but still very enjoyable. At $10, it was a great way to share chocolate with 26 people. That said, I'd rather spend the extra $13 on their Nama Chocolate and give everyone an unforgettable experience. Royce's Origin Chocolate "Bitter" - This will be hard to review because I'm definitely not a chocolate connoisseur. --Ecuador - Reminds me of a bitter coffee bean. Very fragrant, though I wouldn't describe it as floral, despite the tasting notes claiming floral characteristics--unless we're talking about something peppery. This one was my BF's favorite. --Venezuela - Much milkier than the previous flavor. Lighter and more subtle, almost like drinking coffee and then finally getting hit with the milk foam. I 100% agree with the nutty tasting notes--it gives off strong hazelnut energy. This one was my favorite. --Madagascar - Much sharper in flavor. My BF described it as "fruity," and while I had a harder time deciphering it, I agree that it was noticeably tangier than the others. It also ranked the highest in acidity for me. I don't necessarily taste fruit, but that tang does lean toward a citrus-like quality. It tasted like the outer wilds, for sure. --Colombia - Mmm. My BF suggested caramel or cinnamon notes, but I'm picking up a flavor I recognize and just can't place... nutmeg. It reminds me of nutmeg. What an interesting shift from the bright, tangy profile of the Madagascar chocolate. Blueberry Chocolate - One of my peers described it as "potent," and I completely agree. It's a tiny little bead of chocolate, yet it packs a powerful punch. I believe it's a layered milk chocolate with a blueberry center. It was phenomenal, and I'd absolutely come back for another. Of their many flavors, I'd love to come back and try the Potato Chip Chocolate because, frankly, that's weird as heck... and y'girl loves weird.
