Although they were busy, they didn't hesitate to help me out and had me on my way in less than an hour. Very friendly and prompt service. They renewed my faith in business in Halifax/Dartmouth. They lied about their workload and avoided my voicemail and repeated unanswered calls for 2 weeks until I showed up in person with a tow truck. He had my work order right next to the secretary when I walked in and said what I needed and that it was back ordered. Made me lose 2 weeks of work pay not knowing what was going on with my vehicle and that it would be months waiting. Said I needed coolant lines for overheating and just rear tires for the MVI. Had my truck for 3 1/2 months and gave me it back without the MVI done and it being undriveable....He told me all I needed for MVI was two rear tires in October when mvi was up. I dropped tires off and the next 5 calls I made to him the secretary kept saying she didn't know the mvi needed to be done. 5 times in a row! Upon thrm saying my truck was ready for pickup, ai asked if thr MVI was done. He gave me a list of 10 things that needed to be done for MVI and my truck was not road safe! He took my wheel spacers off because he didnt have the right wheel lugs, without asking me now I have to pay someone to put them back on. He also put the wheels on the front when he told me it was the rear that needed changing. This clown also gave me my two rims back with the old tires still on the rims!!! Ill have yo pay someone to take them off as they arent usable. AVOID THIS SHOP. After taking the vehicle they had for 3 months to another mech for the the mvi he said there was so much frame rot he couldn't believe Gary would have takrn my $1400 for the coolant lines just to have a truck thats a write off. They lied to me, ignored endless calls, never set expectations for work needed for MVI, lied about the MVI, took advantage of me and literally gave me a unroad safe vehicle after taking my money.

Two of my experiences - Parts he ordered were correct but delivered to him were not correct hence i had to stay litlle longer he apologized to me even though it was not his fault. The servicemen were also great and knowledgeable. I was told to replace something in my car an year ago by somebody else but Rob explained to me that is not even a part of the car. He is ready to accomodate and willing to give best options. I would DEFINITELY recommend Torque auto. Thank you Rob.

I had just had an oil change 3 weeks prior, but said nothing as my instincts told me they were trying to swindle me. I did however tell the owner that when Mighty put them on for me in October, they told me my tires looked brand new. The owner just shrugged. We had my sisters car looked at by another mechanic and guess what? No exhaust leak. Zero. I'm curious as to what they're doing poking around anyway, when they were only supposed to change tires. Located just at the end of Barrington Street, this mechanics shop is both easy to find and a good…read morechoice. We got our annual vehicle inspection done here just a couple weeks ago and, even though we weren't pleased with the results, were happy with who helped us. The inspection itself only took about an hour. That's from the time the car was dropped off to the time of the call saying it was ready. We were pretty impressed with the speediness of their business. Sadly, the car had too many problems with it and wasn't necessarily worth fixing. We really appreciated that, when phoned by a mechanic at Todds, we were told exactly what was wrong, approximately how much it would cost and how long it would take. What we truly appreciated was the mechanic telling us it probably wasn't worth to fix. Normally a mechanic will just do the work and take your money, no matter how necessary it was. So now we're in need of a new car, but at least we don't feel cheated by the person doing the inspection. We were satisfied with the result and service at Todds, but certainly not happy about needing a newer car.
