Two of my experiences - Parts he ordered were correct but delivered to him were not correct hence i had to stay litlle longer he apologized to me even though it was not his fault. The servicemen were also great and knowledgeable. I was told to replace something in my car an year ago by somebody else but Rob explained to me that is not even a part of the car. I had just had an oil change 3 weeks prior, but said nothing as my instincts told me they were trying to swindle me. I did however tell the owner that when Mighty put them on for me in October, they told me my tires looked brand new. The owner just shrugged. We had my sisters car looked at by another mechanic and guess what? No exhaust leak. Zero. I'm curious as to what they're doing poking around anyway, when they were only supposed to change tires. Saw the 50% off MVI sigh and I HAD to post…read more Took my car 4 year old car (at the time) here 2 years ago. Huge mistake. Buddy puts a reject sticker on my car and takes me in to the lift. Shows me what he called a knuckle on one side and said "see how it's different from the other side?" I saw some difference in the shielding which was housing the joint. So I asked him what it did. He said it was he didn't know. HE ACTUALLY TOLD ME TO MY FACE HE DIDN'T KNOW WHAT IT DID!! So the fella working the front desk calls the dealer. But since he didn't know what part he was looking for he had to call the mechanic back in to talk to them. After about 20 mins they said the dealer had the part. $300 for the part $400 for labour. I drove off with my reject sticker and got it looked at by the dealer. Got it inspected for $60 and drove it off an hour later. DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR TO THESE CLOWNS!

It was an awful sound to listen to and made my heart sink. Something was wrong and I had no idea how to fix it. I panicked a bit at the cost of fixing it or the cost of getting another car. I made it home after the car shutting down on me five times and did some research on a close auto shop that was open early. Hence Bench. Got up early and headed in right away. I was probably frantic as I spoke with Bruce but he was calm, cool and collected. A master at his craft he told me they would take me in right away (I made no appointment, I just showed up). As I sat there nervously waiting for the result all I could do was prepare for the worst but hope for the best. Bruce came up to me and said the oil plug wasn't put on properly by the last mechanic that worked on my car. Grrr! All the oil leaked out of my car and depending on how much I drove the car there might be internal engine damage. I kept praying. They filled her with oil and tested it, success! Crisis averted! Awesome guys, very professional, understanding and reasonable prices. This is now my go to shop.

I am also fortunate that he's sent me to Laurie's Complete Auto Service every time my car has needed something major done (new brake lines, etc.). The company's motto of honest and trustworthy service rings true every time. My mechanic, Gerry Strum, has always been straightforward with with me, and each time I get my bill, it's less expensive than I'd anticipated. Can't go wrong with that! If you're considering dropping your vehicle off at Laurie's, keep in mind that this little place is: 1. Easy to miss - it's in the same building as Alpine Auto and a tattoo parlor. 2. Always quite busy - if the fix is going to take a few hours, they might not be able to squeeze you in today or tomorrow. 3. Run entirely by the (very adept) mechanics - if you call and get no response, it's because everyone is working away on something. They WILL get back to you, and they're very good at keeping customers updated on the status of the repair. I hope no one from this shop retires any time soon. Can't say enough good things about it.
