When you have an injury that is hard to solve by traditional medicine it can feel really overwhelming and isolating. Tina has been with me every step of my process, providing me constant support. She is extremely skilled and intelligent as a therapist, which is informed by her incredible range of experiences with all types of people and injuries. She has also made excellent, unofficial suggestions for quality doctors for me to visit when I felt frustrated by them. In short, anything Tina has ever suggested has been right, and I tell her this all the time. Novacare is grounded in their approach to treating you like a person first, not just an injury. I work from home and don't keep a consistent schedule. Peggy, the office manager, is very helpful about finding me appointments and letting me switch appointments when I need to. I've never had issues with insurance, receipts or billing, unlike some other big hospital systems that have given me insane headaches. In my grand tradition of feeling that doctors/health etc. are under-reviewed, I can't recommend Novacare enough for physal therapy.

The main issue I had is that your time is shared with another person. I needed 100% PT time. Luna Physical Therapy offers individual PT in your house. Many of the exercises are devised from things you have in your home, stairs, chairs, walls, etc. I purchased a chair elliptical machine to help in my progress.
