However, with me she was hands off; while it could have been due to it being my first time, or that in general I do the poses correctly, she could have been more hands on, literally. Robin was certified through the authentic Joseph Pilates group in New York, so she's the real deal. I've been with her for about a year and have been impressed with the body changes.

The massage was a full 60 minutes. I have grown to expect that 60 minutes includes consultation, so really only 50 minutes, but she did not. I didn't request deep tissue as I normally do, but she still worked through some kinks and I was more relaxed than I can recall in recent memory. Also, her prices are super reasonable. The staff here are super friendly and welcoming, which makes a huge difference when you're new to a gym. A quick heads-up: it's a college town, so if you go during peak hours (around 4-8pm on weeknights), you might have to wait a bit for a squat rack or a specific machine. But honestly, that's expected anywhere -- and there's always something else to use in the meantime. Am I the only one who thinks a busy gym actually has great energy? It's motivating! They also seem to always have some kind of deal going on, and for $15-20 a month, you really can't beat it. Overall, an awesome place to train -- clean, upbeat, and affordable. Highly recommend!
