But I do feel that it's important to share our experience, since it was helpful when we looked into a cremation service. They were recommended by our hospice nurse, and I must say they were phenomenal throughout the entire process. This is a very difficult time, but everyone at Leaf Cremation was very caring, thoughtful and professional. Brookle was our main contact and she stayed in constant contact with us. She answers any questions very quickly and explain the process to us. We went to see our son one last time before the actual cremation took place and we found the place to be peaceful and calming. After seeing him, we walked thru the cemetery next to their location, and it was also a very serene and tranquil walk. Leaf Cremation also has many options for urns, jewelry, keepsakes, etc for your loved one ashes if you wish. We first met with Emily Black, Funeral Assistant, to get an idea of what we needed and understand the process. She was kind, understanding, and sympathetic to our feelings. She emailed us cost possibilities and made us feel confident with the handling and process for our mom. Once our mom passed the hospice nurse called Owen's at 9:21pm and the gentlemen who came were dressed formal, suit and tie, and gave the family time to say good bye. They were extremely respectful to us all. Once they were ready to take her, she was carefully put on a stretcher and bundled in her sheets and a quilt they brought. We walked them and her to their van and she was taken to their facility. The next morning Tadd Shadburn, Funeral Director, called to let us know that she was safe and in their care. My sisters and I went to meet with Tadd that morning and we went over all the information again and made payment for her arrangements. We were able to pick up our mom the following week and once again they were amazing. Tadd and Emily treated us like family and we felt like our mom got the BEST service and respect. So far I have yet to feel any of this amazing customer services I keep hearing so much about. I am in my 30s and knew zero about this process. I never buried a parent before. My very first experience meeting with this business, 2 people kept walking in and out the room and talking because apparently the fax machine was in that room. Ok. Understandable. After we got to the bottom of my issues, I left with my little burgundy folder. And a handful of questions. As of right now it's has been a month and I have called at least 3 times with questions. They say "I'm with a family I'll call you shortly " they never do. I have found myself asking relatives about the process or googling my concerns. At this point I feel like I am bothering them, or not as important for a call back. Hopefully no one asked me about this experience. I would be forced to remain silent . We all know, if you do not have anything nice to say, do not say anything at all.

Dreams In-Home Pet Euthanasia - Georgia…read more This week, I had to say goodbye to my beloved cat, Oliver. It was an incredibly difficult day, but the team from Sweet Dreams made it as peaceful and gentle as possible. From the moment they arrived, they treated Oliver -- and me -- with such compassion and respect. They explained each step with care and gave us all the time we needed. Oliver passed calmly, at home, in his favorite spot, surrounded by love. I'm deeply grateful for their kindness and professionalism. It takes a special kind of heart to do what they do, and Sweet Dreams truly has it. They helped turn one of the hardest moments into a peaceful farewell, and I'll always be thankful for that.

We'll sure miss our fur-baby but it's best she didn't suffer needlessly. Our beloved Sweetheart had responded well to medications but her kidneys failed this past weekend. She was 16 years and 7 months old. Treatment with IVs would have been stressful, may not have helped, and her kidneys would have failed again. Sweet Dreams has designed a Memorial Garden where Sweetheart's ashes will be scattered for future visitations. They now have their own cremation facility.
