On minutes notice, Dr. Mary attended to our ill dog by climbing into our van which was perched on a flat bed tow truck after we became stranded on our way to a vet much farther from home (yes, a very bad day!!). After listening to our story and how the dog was behaving and then evaluating his condition the best that she could, Dr. Mary gave us a thorough explanation of what she felt was the affliction. She gave us required medication and then followed up the next day with a call to see how our dog was fairing. We could not have asked for a more professional and compassionate appointment in less then ideal conditions on a day when everything was going poorly for us. I like going here I've learned a lot and improved the life of my Chihuahua by the experience and knowledge of the people at this clinic. The people are nice i haven't encountered a problem with my old diabetic Chihuahua that they haven't been able to help with. They give you reasons in detail as to what is going on and how they suggest dealing with it. They rotate with other clinics to provide off hours emergency care, and Dr. Alban will always answer your call if they are on rotation. My golden retriever started having seizures and is very sick. This vet office gave us an appointment yesterday to come in at 4:10 today. As we are on Mackinac Island, we arranged for a flight to get him there. Then a little while ago they called to cancel his appointment. How rude, how unprofessional. Our Island friends recommended their office. I wouldn't let her even touch my dog if she begged to get us back. And now we have to scramble to find someone else.
