No one claimed her as we notified local vets and sheriff office of found pet. We also was down on savings one time and they let's us charge the bill for 30 days. Caroline, our golden, isn't a fan of going to the vet but the way Dr. Piskorowski talked to her and examined her made her think she was just getting loved on and she didn't even realize she was seeing the vet. We took him to doggy day care there once a week for the duration of the summer to prepare him to be away from home, as he had never stayed away before. Between our vet and the staff at IRPR all of the preliminaries were taken care of; vaccinations, tests, etc. Clancy fell in love with the staff immediately, quite honestly so did I. They loved him and welcomed him so well. And before long he loved his visits there. When we left for the week, I was still a little concerned about how he would react to an entire week. Everything went off without a hitch. I called a couple of times while we were on the road, and those calls were not only well received, they were encouraging as we travelled so far away from him. When we picked him up he was happy and seemed to be well acclimated. They took such good care of him. After getting him home, there was no depression, no being angry with us. The transition was seamless. The next time Clancy has to stay away from home, we will definitely take him to Indian River Pet Resort. Thank you all for loving our boy while we were away. Candy Ison
