He then checked with his surgeon tech and said that Trudy could be operated on that afternoon. We were so happy to get the call that everything went well and our girl could go home the same afternoon. With this being an emergency, we were surprised with the very reasonable charges. When I expressed confusion about why that was relevant to my dog needing medical care, the owner, Jeff, supported the line of questioning rather than redirecting the conversation back to scheduling treatment. As a pet owner, it was uncomfortable to have my personal social media brought into a professional interaction when my priority was getting care for an injured animal. I was able to get my dog seen at another clinic that same evening. I'm sharing this simply so others can make informed decisions when choosing veterinary care.
