Just had one of the best tour trips in my life! Captain Cody made the trip so enjoyable. From the endless amount of deep rooted ancestral knowledge and hilarious jokes, time flew by so quickly. I will be back with the rest of my friends and family! From Seattle/ Hawaii to Florida, much love. Highly recommend! Thank you Cody!

Marshall grew up in this area--just like his mom, grandparents and great grandparents. He is the ultimate Gladesman! When you go there you feel like you are just hanging out with friends. He knows the area from a lifetime of exploration. Very informative. We saw 3 alligators and got pretty close to Tommy, the male that dominates the nearby tree island. We used a water Lilly straw (see picture), found Native American pottery and alligator bones. He knew all the plants and their various uses. Could also identify native birds. Pretty cool!!!

Combination fishing outing and ecotour was outstanding. Marshall is very well-informed about the Everglades and the fish therein. We will be back.

Nice little lizard hanging out on an ATV that has seen its better days

Had a great time with Paul exploring the Everglades. Something everyone should experience if ever given the opportunity.

One of the funnest guided excursions our family took while vacationing in Florida. Marshall our guide, is one of the most down to earth, friendly, and informative guides we have ever experienced. We took an air boat ride at dusk and it was so beautiful. The sun on the horizon was so captivating and the glare off of the glades was truly a bucket list experience. We saw various birds, alligators, and wildlife. This is the ultimate private tour and is perfect if your aren't into sharing large boats with strangers. Marshall treated us like a member of his family. Marshall and his family are truly great people whose souls shine as bright as the summer sunshine. I wish the ride never ended. I also recommend taking a bass fishing trip with Marshall as well, especially if your looking to catch that personal best. He will put you on to some huge bass. We now know who to call when we make it back to Florida. Oh yeah, don't forget to ask about their family pet alligator.

    Best trip ever

Best fishing ever, caught 35 bass. Trip is well worth the money, everyone there is so nice there. If visiting Florida this is a must.

What a great find! Went there as a VERY last minute trip. Marshal and Nicole opened their home to my boys and I who are complete strangers and we had such a great evening of fishing! Even got to see Elvis the alligator! Next time we are in Miami we will 100% make an organized trip out on the boat here! Looking forward to it next year. Thanks again for a fabulous evening. My 10 and 8 year olds are still talking about it! -New Jersey

I just wanna share my experience with this "watching" or "observing" boat which has nothing to do…read morewith fishing. I live in south florida over 10 years and I never thought I will experience something like that. First we pay 1000$ cash plus 200$ tip for 4 hours fishing trip (next time I will use only amex to have some backup when You screw on service) Boat starts leaving dock at 8am and we was swimming like 30-40 min because 2 draw bridges were close and then we saw outlet to open ocean but not so fast because they using your time to go to marine 15 min further to get a bait for us. So we booked 10 days before boat and they can not prepare fishing bait just running 15-30 min extra to buy it. No we know that we dealing with scammers or amateurs. After 9am we are hitting outlet to open ocean. The guy "star" I call him that because he was running the show.He setup 4 rods ( our group was 6) and if fish catch he took rod and check if fish is hooked so then let You fish. The main problem was that he could manage just 1 rod so we have to take rod by 1 person and next person wait till next rod has fish. we catch few bonitos. My wife was second in line so when "star" call her to start reeling but was another problem my wife is left handed and need use 2 hands to use reel because every reel was for right. After trip she told me to not be mad that the "start" disqualified her because she cant use 2 hands so my wife was out!! After 30-45min they decide to catch fish which You can take home previously fish was just for fun and free bait for captain. They said we gonna fish from bottom of ocean. This was the worst experience in my life because You ARE NOT ALLOWED TO FISH only STAR has 1 rod all group has to watch how he fish. All roads was secured to not fish no hooks. So the guy "STAR" was all time fishing playing have fun and all our group was watching like in movie theater. As soon he catches fish he bring closer and then ask is someone wants bring already hooked tired fish too boat. WTF 1200$ for watching 1 person have fun fishing putting bait on hook and have the best experience when fish attack your bait and then just pass You rod with catches tired fish I think is pure SCAM I was 6th number but when they banned my wife from fishing I decide also to pass my fight with reel to my friends kid! If I will be know (which is lie I fishing from many boat and they never tell my wife You cant fish because You left hand) I will never go if for 6 people You allowed to watch guy with 1 rod. This is pure scam. Personally Im not mad at crew captain and STAR they just do wrong advertising is not fishing is watching and observing so before You spend any $ ask if You able to touch rod because I didn't touch the rod. I made pictures and videos just a proof if crew will try turn my real story in lies. You pay only watch how crew has fun from fishing and you are SPONSOR. PAY CREDIT CARD AMEX next time maybe they will start work for Your fun !!!

When we booked it they never warned us about not catching fish but when we get there they tell us it's really hard in winter. Crew also was not interested or friendly. We arrived around 7:30-7:45am and were on the water by 8am. We spent about 2 1/2 hours rolling to some of the spots they knew well. A couple of kingfish and a few others (don't ask me I'm just there to catch them all). The entire morning was relaxing, fun and filled with great conversation. The Captain Jeff pulled out the kite and I have to say this has been on my bucket list for a long time. I've always wanted to see it done live and in person. What an amazing experience. I was able to catch a couple of great fish as they put the kite out. But unfortunately for us we had to pull it back in about 20 minutes in due to a storm rolling in super fast. I plan on doing this again though I would love a catch and release for a sailfish. Dave was amazing and kept us going non stop and gave us breaks when needed. He was just awesome and fun to chat with. My husband was a good sport (seeing as my fish were bigger and better eating than his) and that made the trip for me! :) 4 hours was awesome but next time I'll try to book a couple of days maybe a morning and then a different afternoon. So much fun!! I can't wait to come back. The awesome thing is the guys recommended we filet one of the fish up to take up the dock to a restaurant that would cook it right up for us. So that is exactly what we did...you can't get any fresher than that...what an awesome recommendation!

It was a good trip even if the catch was minimal. Captain…read moreJeff took time to teach us different fishing techniques. Hoping for better weather and better luck.

In honor of one the areas most beloved residents, Hollywood Commissioners voted to rename the park after him in 1999. The park was originally named Yankee Clipper after DiMaggio's nickname but after his death his family requested the name change. It is a fitting honor for someone who gave so much to the community even lending his name for a world class children's hospital. Today you can stroll the same paths Joe DiMaggio used to enjoy. The park has a paved exercise path that runs around the perimeter of picturesque lakes. Along the way are fitness stations that use your body weight to work out. There is also a large shade covered playground for kids to enjoy. The real delight of this park are the extensive paths which are ideal for exercise like running and walking and for kids to safely ride a bike and skate on. The outer loop is .81 miles and the inner loop is .40 miles. This park is also excellent for bird watching as the lakes attract a number of species of birds. Just be sure to keep dogs away from the edge of the water. Last summer a crocodile was caught in the park before being relocated. This park is really pretty and beloved by the community just as its namesake Joe DiMaggio was.
