Cheeseburger was excellent and so was the chicken salad sandwich, both made to order. Bar seats looked really comfortable and also cozy tables just a stone's throw from the bar. Pool room with a juke box and electronic darts. Brown jugs in the front windows. And ashtrays on every table. And the whole place was SO clean. Call me crazy but I'm going to find errands to do in Centerville so we can go back here again!

Annette was the barmaid, great positive attitude and welcoming to newcomers. About 10 other people eating, drinking, and smoking. Everyone seemed happy. Food was decent although the fried bologna slice was way too thin for a sandwich. Tasted great though. They have TouchTunes jukebox and a pool table. Plenty of seats. Bathrooms very clean and the hot water was hot. Big parking lot. There were at least three employees on the premises. I learned that the current owners took it over about a year ago. They do not yet have live music but that may be coming. Six taps, bottles included PBR and Mich Ultra. No IPAs, reasonably stocked liquor shelves. Three beers, cheeseburger & fries, fried bologna sandwich = $25. Maybe in the past this bar was not a good place- that would've been before my time- but it's fine now. Come on in.

I asked about the appetizers & the server informed me they came in frozen so I declined. Hubby ordered fried shrimp with fries & coleslaw. I got the Southwest burger with fries. It took about 25 minutes for our food to arrive. I really loved the fries but my burger was a bit underdone (pink in the middle). Hubby thought the shrimp was average but really liked the fries also. My husband had a sirloin which he thought was cooked a little beyond the requested medium rare, but it was tender and tasty so he was a happy camper. Service was friendly, sweet and prompt.
