Stopped in for lunch with hubby. The ambiance & food was typical of a Mexican chain restaurant. There was a big bar & several TVs to watch sports. The restaurant is very clean. The service was attentive. The food tasted about average, not bad but didn't wow me either. My husband liked his taco & enchilada. My chimichanga was smothered in cheese sauce & tasted okay. The tortilla chips weren't hot as they usually are in a Mexican restaurant. I'm guessing it's because service is slow due to road construction directly in front of the restaurant. It's in an awkward building that shares a driveway and parking lot with a funeral home/cemetery. Be mindful of parking spots marked for the funeral home. Strangely I did not observe any spots marked for disabled parking. It's very loud inside in an annoying way. Currently being newly opened it was jam packed due to the dearth of restaurants in the area. The music was too loud and the tables are very close together. The inside lighting was kind of weird where we sat. We had at least five different people involved in the serving process which I do not like. The personal feeling of "our server" was missing. There seemed to be a lot of staff on hand. Chips and salsa were just meh but at least they're free. Not at all pleased with the guac in terms of taste, appearance and price to portion. I had Chili Verde chicken. The green sauce was very tasty. Meat was not overly tender and it seemed kind of lonely with no vegetables mixed in. The column heading on the menu seemed to indicate all the meats below were cooked with onions, peppers and tomatoes and I even asked the person who took the order but he also read it wrong. My husband had the grilled tilapia and pronounced it "fair." At least he got onions. So I'm not going to say one and done, but will probably not be back again until it's time for the outdoor patio. read more

I loved the ambience of the restraunt. It was great lighting, with purple and green lighting on the inside of the restraunt behind the bar, and out on the patio. It was really clean, interesting, and spacious- I was impressed with this! We went around an hour and fifteen minutes before closing so noise wise it was low-not sure if this is typical or not but we enjoyed it. I'd say we were actually the loudest with my daughter, lol. The server was very friendly and prompt with requests and the food was hot and fresh! I loved the chips and salsa! The salsa had the cilantro in it-which I love! I ordered the Chorizo Pollo which came with three tortillas.. I wish it would have came with more though as they were tiny tortillas. The taste was great though! Portion wise overall for the price paid for it I feel mine was a little smaller than other similar dishes at other similar restaurants. My Mothers portion seemed to be big with her nachos supremo.. but she said the taste of the chicken in hers could have used more flavor-but everything else taste wise in it she enjoyed. The restaurant is Clean. The staff are nice but need to speak better English. The food was great my first time. But second time it was so salty. All 5 of our party had dangerously salty food. Obviously, located in this small community there are not many options for Mexican food or any really good places to eat for that matter. Visited here recently with a group of friends. The chips were stale, my enchiladas were mostly cold and without flavor and were covered with tons of lettuce! Probably the worst enchiladas I have ever had. I don't understand how they can bring you a plate that they say is "very hot" but the food on the plate is barely warm?? Prices are also around $2-$4 higher per entree than most other Mexican places. me and mg wife left our favorite place to eat yeaturday evening in shock. we come here all the time and the food is amazing we always get amazing service. but this time it was the worst. she must have been a new employee all of our food came out wrong. we asked to speak to a manager various times she told us the manager wasn't availabl.e my wife ordered a large lime house margarita. she brought out a bowl. the drink was really good but we told her that's not what we ordered all she said was sorry the bartender doesnt know what he's doing. the server name is Maribel. she charge us for the drink even though we told her that's not what we wanted.
