The jumbo wings are really large. Very good quality and way above average for bar food. I recommend the Sweet Potato fries, too.

BUT... my husbands friend were brown, overdone, dry and barely warm. His COD came equally overcooked and dry AND PERFECT CUT PENTGON SHAPES, cut like some store bought box of fish!!! Even o could find frozen fish in NATURE shapes and this was SO not worth the $$! They are good with stuff they make in house but really bad with reheated frozen food, which is almost all of the sides (my onion rings were not warm either and nothing to write about and I live onion rings. The waiters story about the raffle to raise funds to stay open had us wondering why they had no funds for a $12,000 bill they received that they couldn't pay! Hmmmmm

That After flagging down a waiter, it seemed like things were looking up. Another hour goes by before we get our food. We were all tired and ready to eat before we got here, but were willing to keep giving this place a shot. Our food finally comes out, and the food is... okay. Definitely not worth the wait in any capacity. The waiter was charismatic while he was there, though, and the music outside was nice. However, not worth it at all.

I do not recommend this place, at all. The food was underwhelming. The server was overwhelmed,…read moreaudibly asking for help, and no one seemed to care. My food was either ordered wrong or came out wrong, which I didn't complain about. My husband and I swapped eggs, since they were on the wrong plates, and we didn't complain. My hashbrowns were barely cooked on one side and thrown upside down on the plate to hide the remaining raw potato product. My husband was eventually able to get the busy servers attention. She took my hashbrowns and put my rubber, over easy eggs and cold, slightly reheated, cooked 2 days ago bacon back on the table. After waiting for my re"cooked" hashbrowns, everything else was beyond cold and like rubber. I asked the server to take everything off but the pancakes, since that was the only thing I would be eating. I still ended up paying over $10 for shitty pancakes that were missing the only ingredient I asked for. I brought them home, doctored them up, and ate 1. They were dry as hell by then. After waiting another 10 minutes for a check, we paid out and left. We spent $40 and I ate one bite of bacon and a pancake (eventually). My husband ate 2 cold, over hard eggs and 2 pieces of bacon. $40 for what I could made at home...The service and experience definitely did not justify the price. To make things sit even worse, on the way out there were 5-6 older employees standing around trying to figure out some menial thing. Obviously the server was swamped and asking for help, but no one offered. If someone would have helped her, it probably would have improved the experience for a lot of customers.

At the western edge of Ohio is the town of Greenville, home to the Green Wave, an awesome consignment store, and one of the most delightful restaurants I've ever been to - Jack's Cabin. Co-owned by Jeremy (J) and Carisa (C), and staffed by their son Austin (A) and Kaylie (K), this is the quintessential family restaurant. I enjoyed their corned beef and eggs, amazing fried flounder and cod - and before heading out from my two day respite in Greenville - their Philly Cheesesteak Skillet. Every dish was a hit, hot, and the perfect comfort foods were one to camp indoors. And like a true family restaurant, I felt fair prices all around, such that I kept coming back and tipping in turn instead! Alongside the black bears that peek all around the room, each table also has a personalized figurine featuring camping awesomeness like fishing, wildlife, and just a general vibe of nature. And hey, with $3.50 Yeunglings, I may have found Baltimore's Ohio sister city. Thank you Jack's Cabin for the amazing, entertaining experience. And Congratulations on your engagement, Kaylie!!!

Terrible food. I don't write negative reviews often, but this was not good. First, the fried…read morepickles we ordered as an appetizer came out burnt. They were in the fryer so long they were practically charred. The cole slaw seemed almost puréed. My wife ordered grilled chicken tenders. They came out fried and overly cooked. She thought at first bite that they were fish because of the taste. I ordered fish, so it is obvious that everything was fried in the same basket. And the grease/oil has needed to be changed for quite a while. My fish tasted bland and mostly if burnt oil. The fries were over saturated and tasted just like the bland fish. My mother ordered a tenderloin sandwich that also looked burnt to a crisp. Lesson learned here: order NOTHING that goes into a fryer. And apparently order nothing grilled, because it will get fried, too. The wait staff was brand new and was having some trouble figuring out our order. There didn't seem to be any shadowing or training happening. It took a long time for our main dishes to arrive. We did like the unique decor and overall appearance of the restaurant, but that's about the only thing I can give them credit for.
