Texted Steve Moore on a Sunday afternoon, and I get a return text the next morning at 7 am, asking if I'll be around at all. Since I was working remotely that Monday, I confirmed that I would be home, and he was at my place within 2 hours. He took less than 5 minutes to diagnose the issue and informed me that the Covid-era motors that were built for these Rheem compressors were breaking prematurely. Since my system was still under the 10-year warranty, Steve called the supplier, went to pick up the part, and came back later in the day to get the motor swapped out. AC works again perfectly. When he first installed the system four years ago, he provided a three-year warranty on service. Since this was the 4th year, I expected to pay a service charge for the work. Not with Steve; he waived it. You can't beat this type of personal and quick service, and truthfully, Steve is just a really nice fellow to deal with. You call other HVAC companies, and in the middle of a heat wave, they'll find ways to gouge you. Not Steve. He's decent, honest, and has my wholehearted recommendation.
