The office did not get back to me regarding my voicemail when they opened today. She said I must have called someone else. Then she calls me back an hour later as if she didn't just talk with me regarding why I called? Did she think I was 2 different people? And so rude about it. The first thing that impressed me was the separate waiting rooms - one for sick kids and one for well kids - genius! The front line staff has always been welcoming, courteous and helpful. The nurses are very kid-friendly and incredibly knowledgeable! I have called the nurse line so many times over the years and feel like I have always received professional and reliable counsel, wether it is to bring my kids in to be seen (we are almost always able to get in same day which is a HUGE plus!) or a recommendation to try an OTC medicine first (appreciate not dragging my kid in if it's not necessary!!), or even an assurance that I was managing a sickness appropriately. I even appreciate the billing staff who, because of inadequate insurance for a time and a very sick child, I got to know early on, always handled our situation with kindness and compassion! All of this is, IMHO, exceptional compared to our previous experiences with two other practices, but, of course, wouldn't even matter if the doctors weren't absolutely top-notch medical professionals! Their expertise and dedication, apparent to me in every interaction, is what continues to make me confident in recommending Northeast Pediatric, and also why they are getting all five stars! (Shout out to Dr. Earles and Dr. Antone, who are the doctors we usually see). No practice is perfect, so as for negatives, sometimes the wait time to see the doctor can be a little long, especially if you've called for a same day appointment and they are fitting you in, but in talking to other moms and my own experiences, this is a universal issue with every medical practice wether it's pediatric, adult or specialty. They offer ear piercing and the waiting area is also a good size. One of my favorite features about this office is the online portal. It's especially helpful when you have a newborn/infant, and you have non-urgent questions. The doctors are very good at responding within a day or two. They also recommend a family-owned pharmacy across the street where the pharmacist is equally as friendly and welcoming. A great experience and I highly recommend this office!

I first met Dr. Mavani when I rotated with her during my residency, shortly before our twins were born. From the start, it was clear that she is a brilliant clinician. More importantly, she is a kind and compassionate person who truly cares about her patients and their families. It was quickly apparent that she was exactly the kind of pediatrician my wife and I wanted for our family. One of the things we appreciate most is how she includes both parents in every conversation. My wife and I bring our boys to their appointments together, and Dr. Mavani never directs explanations solely at me as a physician. Instead, she takes the time to break everything down in a way that ensures we're both equally informed and comfortable with our boys' care.

I had the same frustrating experience as another reviewer…read more I tried 3 times to get my daughter vaccinated. The first time, they made my 4 yr old and I sit and waif for over an hour. I watched people who came in after us go in. Finally someone comes out to the lobby to tell me they don't have the vaccines we need in stock but were hoping the vaccines would come in while we were waiting. I gave them another chance. Second time they didn't have official approval to give a vaccine AFTER making us wait again. Never heard of calling someone to tell them this before dragging their child there??? 3rd time we waited forever only to be told they had just given their last vaccine to another patient and would call us when it came in. That was in June. It's September now and still no call. Needless to say we have found a new pediatrician.
