Lordco is one of first calls when I need parts, and their hours are very convenient. It is one of the two parts store I regularly shop at. I'll be calling them again today and recommend checking them out. J

Jim assisted me and provided excellent customer service--he was friendly, knowledgeable, and took the time to arrange for the paint to be sent to the Langford Lordco location, which was more convenient for me. He collected my contact information and vehicle details and entered them into the system. When I later went to the Langford store to pick up the paint, it was not there. Staff at the front desk advised that it may have been returned to the Burnside location because more than a week had passed. While I was very impressed with Jim's service, I was disappointed that the paint was unavailable when I went to collect it. On June 29, I returned to the Burnside Lordco location while Jim was away. When I approached the counter, the employee working there did not greet me or ask how she could assist me. I explained the situation regarding the touch-up paint that Jim had arranged to be transferred to the Langford store. She briefly checked the back area, quickly returned, and stated that she could not find anything. She then picked up a can that was sitting beside the computer and asked, "Are you Kelcy?" When I replied that I was not, there was no further effort made to investigate my order or assist me in locating the paint. The interaction came across as unhelpful and lacked the level of customer service I had previously received from Jim. I explained that Langford staff had suggested the paint may have been returned to Burnside. In response, she remarked that "Langford Lordco never knows what they are doing," which I found unprofessional and inappropriate. She then suggested that I provide the paint code so she could mix a new batch. I explained that Jim had likely already mixed the paint and that the issue appeared to be that it had been lost during the transfer between stores. Despite this, she continued to suggest mixing another batch. What concerned me most was that she never asked for my name, phone number, vehicle information, or order details, nor did she appear to check the computer system where Jim had entered my information. As a result, I did not feel that a reasonable effort was made to locate my order. She may not be well suited to a store environment and would benefit from developing stronger customer service skills. The employee who assisted me was identifiable by her blonde hair, nose piercing, and long artificial nails. I was very impressed with the service I received from Jim, but disappointed by this later interaction. The experience left me feeling that my concerns were not taken seriously and that the level of customer service fell short of expectations. As a result, I will be seeking automotive paint products elsewhere in the future.
