We attended a company event at Texas Live! on February 18, 2026, and overall we had a great time…read more The venue itself is impressive, and the food and drinks were very good. Our company provided each guest with three drink tickets, and many attendees -- including ourselves -- happily purchased additional drinks beyond that. Unfortunately, our experience with most of the bartenders was disappointing. We visited two different bar stations, and several bartenders came across as rude or uninterested, almost as if serving guests was an inconvenience. This stood out especially since the event was a large private rental, and guests were continuing to spend money throughout the evening. That said, one bartender truly made a positive impression -- Analilia. She was friendly, welcoming, and had an amazing attitude that completely changed the experience at her bar. She provided the level of service you would expect at a venue of this caliber. Despite the inconsistent service, we still enjoyed the event overall thanks to the atmosphere, food, and entertainment. I hope management recognizes team members like Analilia and works to ensure a more consistently positive guest experience across all bar stations in the future.

If you're going to change your policy and charge people just to enter your venue to eat and watch a game, the least you can do is make that crystal clear before people spend money on parking. It was not on their website so this is UNACCEPTABLE! AND why just the Mexico games? I'd say that was predatory at the least. If it was solely about safety, let who arrives be served, but you took advantage and cost us $ AND inconvenience. DO BETTER!

Drinks are cheap and there's plenty of booze to choose from all the way from top shelf liquors to wells when rent is due. It also has a decent little patio out back to support smokers that need some room to relax. Felt safe in a bit of sketchy part of town but it just adds to the character of the place. I went there several times, and because they did not know me, I had to give them my debit card…read more After I had been there a few times, they just let me run a cash tab. I found two charges on my bank statement, from the times they had held my card, even though I had paid in cash. I had not signed the receipt. Last time I was in there, the "night manager", asked me for my card. I told her I couldn't do that, since twice, I had been charged even though I had paid cash. Her response was "I still have to have the card because "I don't know you". She did not bother to check with any of the other bartenders, to ask about serving me previously. She also did not bother to even look the least bit concerned about the charges. She took the beer with both hands, raised her voice somewhat and said "then you can't drink here", making sure to inject some drama. The whole encounter demonstrated a COMPLETE lack of people skills, and an immediate willingness to be confrontational with regard to anything other than, "SHE" did not know me, without any attempt to do anything other than bully, control, and disregard the problem with the card being charged. You have to go out of your way to disrespect somebody to treat them that way, She was right about not drinking there. Putting someone that lacking in people skills coupled with a personality quick to escalate to confrontation in a management position, tells me all I need to know.

Speaking of beers, this local Arlington brewery has several that give you a good buzz with a unique taste. The Do I Make you Thorny sour ale has a raspberry touch to it and a pleasure to sip. The other beer we tasted is the Love is an alien IPA. This is smooth with a good hoppy kick. The shortthorn blonde ale was another one we wanted but sadly, sold out. The menu had plenty of IPAs to taste so they specialize in hoppy beers. I heard the pizza here is fantastic so that'll be something to try for next time along with other beers.
