I called from Sioux Falls because the store here was out of the Thuja (arborvitie) trees. I was connected to Courtney in lawn and garden. I asked her if she would pick out 5 of the trees and to pick them out as if she was shopping for her mother. I went the next morning to pick them up and I had barely entered the store when I was met by a nice young gentleman named Ethan. He knew exactly why I was there and he quickly brought the trees up front and happily loaded them into my car( and it was pouring down rain!). Drove over an hour to purchase flooring, took another hour just to get it ordered properly was told…read moreit would take about 3-7 days to get it then they would contact to deliver, after 8 days I contacted the store to find out that only a partial shipment was received, 9 boxes had to be reorder in addition they did not know when the molding would arrive, I had already explained that I was under a timeline and that I would need to cancel the entire order since they could not give me a status on when everything would be at the store. I spoke to a alleged Manager (Michelle) who assured me that everything was canceled and she would be sending a return receipt promptly, needless to say I checked my C/C and it still showed a balance and only a partial refund had been credited, I called and spoke to Michelle again and she stated instead of giving me a total refund, they did a partial and put the rest on a gift card because I had called and reordered the 9 boxes that was missing from the original order, I told her at no time had I called to reordered anything and that I had not authorized anyone to do so on my behalf, she said well that is what they did and there was nothing they could do about it. Which is total BS as even their policy states that in the case of returns a full credit to C/C used will be given. In the mean time I have file a complaint with the BBB as Well as AG Office. I would never recommend this store for anything, they have no appreciation for Veterans or Seniors.

I ordered as an online pickup. I have my order information and I ordered rosin free wire when returning home and using the wire on an alcohol ink glass project...the rosin dozed all over my project. I only ordered it from ace because it was a considerable amount off. Because I received the wire with rosin .the employees would not let me exchange for the same price. I got the wrong product sent and they weren't willing to honor my discount! I have never heard of such a thing! Won't be back!!! Prefer Menards and Walmart..they both have better prices and are fair with they're exchanges.

But good luck getting anyone to help, or even acknowledge you inside the store. I've shopped here repeatedly and never once was given any help even when I have to dig through shelves on my own with salespersons no more than 30ft away. It's like you're invisible until you want to check out then have to drag your purchases from one check out line to the next when they finally open a second register. Their prices are moderately competitive to other local stores but the big plus is they are open Sundays and up to 7pm. Overall nothing special.
