This Macy's has a much larger selection than your typical locations in the LA area. But because it's smack dab in the center of a tourist trap, it's also really busy. Granted, the associates are gonna be really busy, especially when there's language barriers with some of the tourists. But some associates, and even some red-badges (Macy's speak for managers) didn't even bother acknowledging some customers. One associate only asked me if I needed help after I had asked him where the INC section was at. I really can't believe I'm still waiting for my refund. I bought some vests for my suits. Came in to return them for a dif size. Selena insisted I purchase the new ones first. I did and then she did the return making me wait for a check. I had a sick feeling that I was being refunded a smaller amount that I initially paid. I went home and referred to my receipts to see I was being refunded 80 less than what I paid initially. The manger helped me clear that up and got me the refund for the full amount. Well i came in here to simply swap out my ring that I dropped and cracked. I ended up leaving after buying one that was 3xs the cost of my original ring!!! Alex, your a good salesman! It was a tremendous sale on my new wedding ring, it was originally 5500 and with the black Friday in July sale brought it down to around 1500 bucks! Ow yeah loving that. I was in Macys today, shopping for makeup from Clinique. I was looking for a concealer and testing shades on my hand when a lady working at the Clinique section came over asking if she could help. She said that the shade I tried on my hand looked to be a good match but I asked her to look in the drawer to see if they had one shade lighter. While she was looking, a lady from Clarins came over asking if everything was OK. She asked me "are you tanned right now?" And I said "no this is my natural color". She then proceeded to ask "do you want it to match your face or your neck?", I replied "are they different?" And she said, "well your face is orange like Donald Trump and your neck is pigmented". I was completely shocked and extremely offended that someone would say this to a customer. I left the store immediately. After calling my husband, he insisted I return to the store and find out the name of the person that insulted me. I asked the lady from Clinique and she said that the lady from Clarins is called Sharon. She didn't know her last name and I asked a few of her coworkers but nobody knew. This happened on Monday night at around 7.50pm on 2/13/17 and I went back to ask for her name at about 8pm. I visit Macy's on a regular basis to shop for makeup. I've had all of my makeup matched to my skin tone by makeup artists at your store. I always welcome makeup advice and ways in which I can improve, but this was just plain rude. Even if she did believe that my makeup is a bad match I'm sure she could've found a better, kinder way to address it. Went in to do a return for infant dresses tags still attached. Unworn. Gifts for my little girl but was told I could not receive store credit as it was past the return time. I know there are limits to some items but nothing listed for infant clothing online. Infant clothing is not something to really go out of style why a store credit couldn't be done is confusing to me. I witnessed blatant racism and felt as if my safety was threatened when I witnessed two ELDERLY ladies being verbally abused, since the abuser kept reaching in his pocket as if he had a weapon. As a consumer I want to feel safe, so witnessing a verbal altercation that was on the brink of physical abuse did not make me feel SAFE. YELP deleted my last comment, because it was apparently based on someone else's customer experience. I was in the store...I witnessed this scary situation in which staff did nothing to neutralize or stop the altercation. I don't like this Macy's the service for the one at Maryland is so much better and friendlier unfortunately their closing. This Macy's is intolerable. The people at the shoe dept. For women is usually very unhelpful and they help those whom they feel like it, specially the men sales associates. The junior dept their service is not at all in a friendly manner. They choose if they are good to you or not. I'm pretty sure they'd rather not have customers. LOL it doesn't hurt me though. . . The lingerie is probably the nicest service here. The cosmetic counters are the worst of them all. They are so fake and intentionally rude. They just want to be there to put hours in not to help the customers or even make sales or even commission which is for them not me. There's a certain male working here and he is by far the rudest. He's just walking around and giving off an attitude. In particular, at benefit cosmetics, the girl named Alex had my contact info for product update and making house calls. However weeks later she used my number to make a personal call to me in a very rude manner. This information of mine is something I trust you with. She had no reason to use it. It was practically a prank call. Quite honestly, you make a sale that's all you need my number for. I don't want to hear from you again, trust me, you are not at all pleasant. She was bothered by how much she serviced me. She did so because she wanted to I don't want her touching my face, she insisted. This was the time, however, that I realized they do NOT clean the make up brushes. There's not sanitizing. If someone with acne or some kind of skin condition had them used on it could be passed down to the next customer. Imbecilic sales associates. Seriously you don't want to be there don't waste your time and I don't want you to have my commission. That bitch Alex doesn't work there anymore and neither do her little trashy friends. Seriously help yourself before you think you can handle customers. Unfortunately I am fond of benefit cosmetics and I have to find it somewhere and I am forced to come here just as infrequent as I must. I don't expect better from this location. I'm a fan of Macy's and I'm a fan of this Macy's in particular. They have an amazing shoe department, larger than most because it's on the strip and is fully stocked for high traffic and tourists. When I'm in the market for shoes, this is the place I come. They have a huge selection of clearance available on a regular basis, which I love. I don't usually come to this location for anything aside from shoes, accessories and jewelry, but their selection is pretty good for just about anything you're in the market for. read more

Ok! I've emailed I've called I'm at my wits end. I have a huge issue with Macy's customer service. I have called a total of 5 times to fix my order. The representative spelled my name wrong as well as put the wrong zip code on the package. 1. Ordered a second pair for my friend in Houston and they also put the wrong address 2. I had to keep calling UPS and Macy's to fix it 3. My package is lost somewhere in sparks, NV and UPS said I have to call Macy's and Vice Versa So now I'm just chasing my tail at this point 4. The 4th time I called I asked to speak to a manager they said they are busy and it's going to take up to 24 hours (that was on Monday) I'm still waiting on that call 5. I called Wednesday and asked them why hasn't anyone called me or even offered to ship me a new pair of shoes? The rep said, I'll send you a new pair they should be there by the 22nd. I will send you a confirmation email. Here it is Friday and I have no shoes and no confirmation email. I don't understand what is going on and why customer service is so nonchalant and not being proactive about my order. Went here today for the first time with my husband. I must say the service was excellent. My husband is in a wheelchair which makes shopping difficult. The staff here went out of their way to ensure we found what we were looking for and even went so far as to assist us with shopping by pulling different pant options. We buy almost all of our clothing for our entire family at Macy's. We are long time Macy's card holders and my wife has really figured out how to harness the power of the coupons and rewards. We enjoy great quality clothing and shoes and we spend less than people who shop at Target! So why not 5 stars? The main reason for me is the location. I have to go this location, on the strip, to shop for my kids. The children's departments at the Meadows and Summerlin stores are tiny and offer no real selection. As a native of Las Vegas, I tend to stay away from the traffic and business of the strip except for special occasions. While the staff here is generally very friendly and helpful, you can tell they are used to working with tourists. They can be sometimes, a little short, or not as knowledgeable about policies and procedures. But I'm still a huge fan. read more

This place is an unorganized stye full of lazy unmotivated people. In my visit I overhead salespeople at the register in the INC area saying the won't ring up anyone, I saw "customers" painting their nails while sitting down in the store like they are in their living room. I had a backpack on as I'm a tourist and wanted to be comfy and have my water, etc and this lady in the women's dept was making herself way to visible and fake which resulted in us feeling like she thought we were shoplifters. WTF peoples purses these days are just as big as a damn backpack! Another 5 star experience! You just haven't lived until you have shopped this way. OK, big words, but this was fun. We started out right away discussing the few outfits I was shopping for. Then we headed into the racks with a mini "coat rack" on wheels and started loading it up with clothes. The biggest difference from my normal shopping experiences was the service. The shopper, Jennifer, knew just the right accessories, bags and shoes to ask for. I tried on things I normally wouldn't have looked twice at, but ended up falling in love with. Some clothes just don't look impressive on the hanger, but having someone so familiar with the styles was a huge help. Once she saw me with a few of the outfits on, she seemed to know exactly what would suit me best. It is also a big help to be able to bring several styles of boots back to the changing room and try them on with the actual clothes. And the same went for trying the jewelry. It is just much easier to make a decision when you can see it together. It has been a few weeks since my visit and I have received quite a few compliments. I would recommend this free service to anyone that doesn't usually enjoy the whole clothes shopping experience. read more
