I can count on every Macy's for two things. Lots of sales with coupons that are not applicable to what I am purchasing. And super enthusiastic fragrance salespeople who tend to go overboard trying to make the sale. Anyway, this store is under a bit of construction now. I must say that Macy's service is not at all what it used to be. I've visited Macy's at Dadeland Mall several times in the last few months and have left feeling very dissatisfied. The last time I was there, I was in the bedding department and could not find a single sales associate to assist me with my needs. Today I went to the shoe department and once again there is no assistance available. I don't think I'm be shop at Macy's in Dadeland Mall again. Okay I can't front I forgot all about Macy's. Back in the day would love to come to the mall and look around. But as things evolve so does shopping on line become a trend. Well I'm thick and need to try things on. So came back to a friendly store and was shocked to see there was still so much going on. The shoes, jewelry, perfumes, and make up are still hits. I was on the hunt for a dress for a wedding and winded up in the last call section. Found super cute everyday dresses but no gowns was really interested in. Walked on the other side and found this beautiful evergreen dress that I just fell in love with. And did I just happen3d to be there on a day with a fabulous 30% sale. I tried it on and walked out satisfied. Even came back days later to purchase the shoes..hitting another sale. I bought a gown and shoes for just under $200, what a steal! read more

My friend Cecilia is always reminding me about expanding my shopping beyond a certain menswear store in the Wynwood / Design district area. Thus, when I was in the Kendall area for a construction site visit today and needed to get cleaned up and somewhat pleasant for the office I ended up at Dadeland Macys. To be fair, I've stopped here before. I have cousins that live near this part of Miami and I have cheated on my favorite boutique when needing a last minute gift or clothing when my favorite store has been closed. Today's haul was Chanel Eau de Toilette, based on help from the perfume department when I asked for a daytime and office friendly cologne. The salesman let me try a couple of different ones, and along with my purchase, added a few more sample sizes. After being at a construction site, the air conditioning (and whatever aromatherapy they pump in it) was a bonus. Probably purposefully (I know there are design classes for retail spaces) it was a little bit of a saga to find the exit :) Still and all, it is a great store. read more

I have lived in Miami for many, many years and the last few years actually since the pandemic it's changed. The style of clothes has really changed. This is the last time we am going there. I couldn't even change to try clothes on! No air conditioning at all in the store! And let me tell you it takes a lot for me to sweat and I had sweat dripping down my forehead. This is the 3rd floor, women's section. And the people that work there do not speak one word of English. How do you get business done here. They are older women. But how do you Macys let people work in this condition. It's not healthy I drank so much water when I got home. It was that bad . You lost me spending my money there. I will spend it somewhere else. Fragrance Management at this location are super unprofessional. I do not recommend working here. You have to be behind them for your weekly schedule. They don't even let you know in advance if you'll have working hours the following week. They change schedule without letting you know. Super unorganized . So sad that Macy's being a huge company, hire these "Managers" to manage their department. read more

This Macy's location has three separate floors for men, women, children, babies, furniture (another section of the mall), etc. They have amazing deals all year long and especially right now for the holidays. P.S- I don't know if I'm the only one but Macy's always has a particular smell, a good smell but unique to their store. Came to Macy's to pay my credit card bill. Be forwarned that you MUST use cash, check, or check card to pay. Can't use a credit card and took three people before one mentioned that. Bathroom also had several dirty stalls. I gave three stars because, I think, today was an off day. Usually this place is clean and a nice shopping experience. Today it seems as if they've had a rough day of customers returning items. Typically, quality of clothing is good to above average. I have found that you can get some great deals here if you do a deep dive into the sales or shop in the clearance section "last act". These are conveniently located within each of the departments. They have added the Macy's backstage store for real bargain hunters. I don't like it in there, as it feels like a very small and cramped Ross or Marshall's. I like that the store has a separate petite section, because I often find good daily work clothes here. I also enjoy their juniors section for day to day wear. Added bonus of an attached starbucks and a cafe at the center of the store. read more

I grew up in "Kendall" what is now known as Pinecrest and went to Burdines now Macys for many years. Known for quality, service, and professionalism, I came down from Brickell (about 45-1 hour in traffic each way) to shop with my fiancé for a suit. We have many options; however, Macy's Dadeland Mall was my choice based on the service, structure, and history, overall gratitude and exceptional service of staff. I highly regret making the trip down as it resulted in no sale and no service. Unfortunately, the person, Yris, in the gentlemen's suits area was not looking to help, serve, or attend. It was an embarrassment as she counted change at her register before telling us that they were closing in fifteen minutes after we waited for over half an hour to get service. Extremely disappointed and underwhelmed considering what Macys used to be. Definitely not worth my time and presumedly not worth my money according to the staff. I will be following up with management considering how disappointing the situation was. read more

I went with my fiance and soon to be mother-in-law this past weekend to purchase some fine jewelry, and we had the best experience with Kristen. I would highly recommend buying from this Macy's. We arrived, looked at rings, and got a little worried as we didn't see too many associates. But when I approached Kristen as she was ringing someone up, she told us she'd be with us as soon as she finished with the other customer. And I'm glad we bought from her because she was an absolute sweetheart. Kristen took her time to talk to us, to see what we wanted, and even asked about our love story. She did not rush us through the process at all as we looked over the jewelry and asked about prices. She guided us with the best sales. We thought the price and quality of the rings at Macy's were incredible, but it only got better. By buying it with Kristen, she was able to give us 12 months with no interest on our purchase! I couldn't thank her enough for being so kind to me and my family. Kristen's service is like a meal in Italy, it shouldn't be rushed because she's cooking perfection; and when it's done, it nourishes the soul. I very much appreciate that because everywhere else it feels like customers are treated as numbers or a bother unless they look like they're wealthy. I did not feel that with Kristen at all. I felt she treated us with kindness and decency, regardless of what we could afford, and helped us make the best decision for us. I'd very happily make future purchases with Kristen at the jewelry counter at Macy's. She educated us on things we didn't know like sizing and quality of certain material combinations. I purchased a recliner sofa in Macy's with a 5 year extended warranty "WorryNoMore Ultimate 5 Year Plan". On February 22 2024 I placed a claim because a piece of the reclining mechanism broke. The sales associate reminded me that I could go to customer service, which is on the 2nd floor near the elevators. There were a couple people ahead of me but the person at the register was great and made my return easy. Love Macy's. I can always manage to find a deal (or two) here. This one is my go to Macy's. I've never really had issues here. Staff is always friendly for the most part. Love coming here for Black Friday and Xmas. The deals are insane. They also have a large clearance section called last chance for men and women. Here you can find great deals on designer clothes. Good prices. Let's just say I got seven jeans once for $27. Yes I said that correctly. Even the lady at the register was in complete shock. If you look you will find. I ordered 3 suit jackets online. Unfortunately, they did not have that brand in the store so J could not try it on. I have lost weight and only went 1 size down instead of 2. I was disappointed when the items arrived and they did not fit. I returned the items in the store. The young lady helping was extremely kind and courteous to the point where I was compelled to write this review. I then went to the suit section to try on a suits to see what my size truly is. This Macy's has redone their Lancome and Estee Lauder departments. It is a big Improvement and feels more luxe. They have many designer brands and everyday brands to choose from. They have lots of styles and variety of clothing, handbags, everything.. Unfortunately, finding assistance is rare. Almost any time I need assistance there is no employee on the floor. There are never enough cashiers and usually long lines here in any Department you go to. I do like how the shoe department stuff really works to get you your size even if they have to order it from another store. They bring out the shoes quickly and help you figure out your correct size. They have a very convenient parking garage to use when it is raining or to keep your car cool when it is so hot outside. read more

I needed to use the restroom on 1st floor by jewelry, it was so disgusting I had to grab an employee to let them know; every toilet was backed up, the toilets and floors had not been professionally cleaned in weeks it was a horrible smell and it felt like I was in a low grade store. The rude employee by jewelry (her name was Marilyn)she was quite quick to mention it's not her job to call for anyone and that if I did not like that bathroom that maybe I should go upstairs to the second floor. The second floor smells like mold! All employees should be receptive to what customers are saying and be willing to make the necessary changes to make people feel heard, safe and catered to. read more

Very disappointed with Macys Deluvery Service. Bought a mattress and paid to haul the old one away. The driver, Mario, was rude and refused to take my old one even though I paid for it. He said he did not want other customers to see used merchandise with the new o n.v w being delivered. They should not sell the service if they are going to have it removed. Apart from his rude behavior, he should learn English. Undoubtedly Macyz should have a different pickup from the deliveries as most pickups are not going to be in mint condition. read more

I came to Macy's in Black Friday to buy a gift for my brother and a few other people. They had some good door buster deals and I wanted in on it. I bought my brother a nice watch to wear to formal events... salesman was really nice and I had a great gift to give to someone I love. I made my way to the home store and found some ornaments I wanted and got them. I got in line to pay for it. The employee was taking her sweet time and talking to everyone... whether it's other employees or customers about everything. The line was getting bigger and bigger and the time taking longer. It was Black Friday and I had other stores to go to. I was becoming impatient and talking to someone else in line in English and the lady in front of me told the employee in Spanish that I was complaining about how long it was taking. The employee then remarked oh young people nowadays lack education and are rude. They assumed I didn't know Spanish. I was fuming! I almost told the employee some choice words but no that she would have probably called store security. So I paid for my items and left. I called Macy's customer service and filed a complaint and they didn't care. All they did was ask me the store location and what happened... and didn't get my name or anything. It was like the insult I experienced didn't matter. Guess Macy's thinks one customer doesn't matter. Terrible experience. No employee had the right to judge a customer. read more

This review is based on my experience this past Friday 11/10/17 at the Macy's home and family store at Dadeland, where I went with my daughter to get more Nespresso refills and a gift card for a party. Clean, Organized and with plenty of discounts trough out the whole store. I had a great experience at the Nespresso and afterwards I went to get the gift card. The service was my favorite part thanks to the beautiful lady helping us at the cash register. She didn't have gift cards there, so she went personally with my daughter to get the one she wanted from another cash register, with a smile on her face she charged us and we left happy. Thank you!! This store gets worse & worse. For starters, the floors and rugs are filthy. The merchandise is strewn all over the place. I have seen piles of clothes just laying over racks or counters. Shoes all over the place. Handbags as well. Some clothes that are on the racks are dusty. The only areas that are organized are the cosmetics and perfumes. Finding employees that are willing to help is a mission fit for The Amazing Race. However, the one saving grace in this gawdawful visit was Guillermo in the men's suits department. Really, nice older gentleman that went above and beyond to assist us. Kudos to him for being the only bright spot of this visit. read more

Wow, this is one nice multilevel store, and the selection of clothes is really good. They had lots of winter coats and staff came by to help out as well. I like the cafe in the middle of it for a nice break. The perfume/cologne area can be quite overwhelming, but I survived. The store is going thru renovation but they closed their escalators and it is very inconvenient to visit the upper floors.

My wife and I came to Macy's to make a purchase she got some make up stuff and she took her glasses that she purchased that Macy's because one of the glasses had gotten scratched she asked how she can get that replaced in the guy was very rude and defensive telling her about how deep the scratch was when it had nothing to do with warranty is simply wanted to get the piece replaced very bad service at the ray band area. I'm a platinum member and definately not happy how she was treated Perhaps if Macy's is gonna have a vendor with a booth in its store they should also teach them how to deal with customers better. We visited on October 28th to get my mom a night time dress and when we were going to pay, we were helped by Patricia I believe her name was. She was beyond rude that even the people behind me in line said it. There was a sale going on and we asked what the final price would be and she would just say it's "30% off the price on the tag". We only bought the dress because of dire need but we probably wouldn't shop here again. My mom has has her macy's credit card for over 25 years and has never received treatment as such. I seriously cannot stand this Macy's, but I'm stuck... cause it's the closest to me. The customer service here is absolutely terrible. Nearly every employee I interacted with didn't speak English, then was annoyed I bothered them with very basic questions speaking English. Seriously? Asking if you have an item in another size is a pretty standard question you should be capable of answering for any client if you work here. Also, the ones that do speak English literally hide from clients. I legitimately had to follow one a section over that very well knew I was asking for help. Then If you have the patience to find something with absolutely no help from the you now get to pay for it. I waited for 15-20 mins at a register with one sales person checking guests out. Then she runs into a check out issue with a guest and asks me to go to another register! Jesus! Fine! I then go to the one she asks me to which supposedly had no line. True, but it had one guest checking out with a ton of items. This guest spoke Spanish like the sales lady, so they gossiped for another 10 mins while I am here waiting patiently. I've now spent the same amount of time waiting to pay between 2 registers than I spent shopping! I look over to the original register and the woman that was two spots behind me in the first place is now checking out! I almost lost it. The current register attendant finally notices, and bothers to say she'll be with me in a minute. 30 mins after starting this process, I get to pay. Macy's, customer service is everything. The reason I bother to go into the store over shopping online is to get immediate results. Your representatives at this store are a nightmare and need basic training. Was about to buy a $2500 pair of earrings and necklace for myself when I shared with the salesperson my concern whether or not the earrings looked a bit large for my usual taste. She literally took off her own earring and put on one of the ones I was about to buy into her ear hole so I could see how they looked on someone. Are you serious? In these days of COVID 19 its hard enough to back to store shopping which I was only doing as I like to see the jewellry I am buying in person if possible. Gross. I just walked away. Macys really needs to invest in some customer service trainings. But business must be good apparently and jobs must be safe to lose a good sale just like that. read more
