Came here to look at espresso/coffee makers. First we noticed there were opened boxes of products all over the place. It was so trashy. We saw the coffeemaker we have been wanting. It was listed as $299. We saw it cheaper even at crate and Barrel but the lady said she had a discount. We opened it to make sure it was ok. It was already used. There was still dried milk on the steam wand. It was garbage and they were charging more than other places. Aside from that I used the women's restroom and it was DISGUSTING. Every stall but one had pee and feces sitting unflushed in the toilets. This place is so nasty and they are charging Macys prices still. Save yourself a trip. read more

As what appears to be one of the million stores at Westfield, Macy's is a standard and tried and true for just about all things. We went to purchase some sneakers for my kids and they had a great selection. Sometimes and if you have a Macy's card, you can get some discount coupons and rewards for your purchases. This was one of my best experiences yet in a retail store. Today is Valentine's Day and I had to shop for my significant other, as well as pick up some casual clothes for myself. The store was not crowded to say the least; however, after walking around the men's clothing section I found that I needed advice so I asked for help. I approached Tiffany (manager) after seeing her pleasantly greet customers. I needed help with fashion - not just whether or not they had stock in my size. Added to this was my need for help to select my significant other's gift (scarf). We very efficiently found all of the items. On top of this there was a very useful sale that saved me 25%. I'd highly recommend to anyone who asked both Tiffany and Jeff, who rang me up. read more

Fine jewelry not so fine! I purchased a small gold, heart shaped necklace lined with small diamond chips on one side. I paid a pretty good price for it as well. I believed Macys had a good reputation for quality! My girlfriend loved it. unfortunately we took a day trip to Warm Mineral springs in North Port, about 3 months ago, and after she swam in the waters for about 20 Minute, the pendant and the chain, both turned black! I was told by the attendant at the time, that this happens occasionally with the cheaper jewely. i was also wearing a gold necklace at the time, with a gold wrapped Spanish coin. A Poor Experience with internet sales I purchased a pair of men's shorts on the internet today. It was priced very aggressively so I bought it. I elected to go to the store and pick it up for free. I arrived at the store and after a brief wait in line I told the clerk my name. She looked at me blankly and said that I had to give the order number. Another male member of the staff told me I had to have the order number. She tried to look up my macy's card, but it had nothing about my purchase. Along about now I pulled my telephone out of my pocket and found the order number on email. There are several things wrong here. 1. Macys should have items cross-indexed by name and order number. 2. Macys could have had a terminal to the internet or just able to login to macys.com to look at people pages when they had trouble remembering what their order number was. 3. Macy's should eliminate the smart-aleck male clerk who said too bad tough. I would say Macy's definitely does not understand the internet or how to deal with people who do. read more

New to the area, I needed swim suits for the family and a decent selection of petite sizes women's wear. Tried a few places and not happy until I stopped in Macy's. Haven't shopped in a department store in a long time. Huge selection and variety of petites, and caught the sale on swim suits. Got a $149 Lauren for $19 and lots, lots more! And was delighted by the team there, helpful and friendly, especially Kim at the Customer Service desk! I'll be back for sure. ENJOY! read more

Worst store ever!!!! I took my Michael Kors watch in for repair on 11/26th to change my battery since they said to come in and they'll take care of it and I noticed that they scratched my crystal on my watch so I took it to them to repair and I still don't have it back nor has ANYONE HAS YET TO GET BACK TO ME OR KNOWS WHERE IT IS and it's January 9th?!!!! Huge men's department. Racks mostly a mess, not sized. More of a scavenger hunt. Very helpful and friendly staff.
