Used car salesman doesn't even kind of accurately describe how little these people pay attention to your needs or requests...I told two different representatives what my budget was and they repeatedly tried to sell me on cars that I specifically said I wouldn't buy while tripling the monthly payments I said I could make and then telling me to "work with us" scam artists at a the least actively ruining peoples credit score at the worst...they actually refused to give me the keys to my own vehicle until they " ran some more numbers for me" don't buy a car from these people ever the first vehicle I tried to buy from them turned out to not be available until engineer review and I couldn't legally purchase said vehicle for 8 months....assuming the review went well and jeep actually fixed the recall....the dealership refused to tell me any of that information I had to literally call the Ford dealership..that they had sent the car I had already paid and signed for to,and then had to Impersonate a Nissan employee to find out they weren't legally allowed to sell me that car in the first place because it hadn't even gotten an inspection yet... Do not buy anything from Nissan they are absolutely scamming every customer that even drives into their parking lot read more

SUPER pushy asst manager of sales. Ridiculous. Although was fun putting it back to him. Sadly 30 min of my life I will not get back. I stopped in to verify that they had a truck on the lot that was listed on the internet. The first sales guy was not bad but told me they had several large lots and they didn't know where that truck was currently. But, he assured me it was there. I asked for an out the door price listing all add ons etc. indicating I was checking with other dealers and would make a decision in a few weeks. Helpful dude left to make a copy of the paper with the price. Sadly, he returned without a copy but with an assistant manager who wanted to know what the problem was. I indicated I wasn't aware of a problem. He asked why I wasn't buying today, at which point I said it sounded more like his problem than mine and I found it odd that I was being asked to explain his problem to me. I assured him however that I had explained my desire to get a price and shop around to the helpful sales guy and if he needed details the helpful sales dude could probably fill him in. I have since had much better experiences with two other Nissan dealers. I may call back in two weeks to see if they want to drop price enough to get a sale in spite of their really offensive behavior. If I had to bet, they won't be getting the sale. I bought a used Nissan Rogue with only 60k miles on it. After driving it off the lot, the Air Bag control chip went out (Safety Equip). The salesman had talked up, boasting, of their excellent Customer Service, guarantees and warranties. I even foolishly purchased the fake extended warranty. They could have easily helped me out with this $1,500 cost, but they didn't; they left me High and Dry. Ya, I know it's the cost of doing business, but ultimately the dealership is still Dishonest and their Customer Service is only an illusion. read more

I purchased a Nissan Titan XD with the Cummins. Just hours after I left the dealership it didn't feel right. I asked the manager if I could take it back and find something else. I was told it was buyers remorse and he didn't have to take it back... so I escalated the call To "Roy" and he actually banned me from ever coming back to Melloy Nissan.. I had just spent $45,000 and I get banned for asking to buy something else they had.... Come to find out they made a very nice commission around $9000. They would rather kick a customer out than make sure you're completely satisfied. The Greed makes me sick!! This location is unprofessional. I come from a customer service background and am the first to understand that eventually customers can begin to look like just a number however, it's not that hard to snap out of it and make a customer feel valued. The amount of times we've had to call in or text and ask for updates rather than being followed up with, and provided updates- made me feel like I should clock in and call myself a Melloy Nissan employee. If you have the option to buy a vehicle from somewhere else, whether it's a dealership across the street or across the country, please consider. They proactively offered a better "deal" on the car and then continuously told us, "we're not making much of a profit on this sale so we can't fix x,y, or z." The pricing decision was not my responsibility so making me spend an additional out of pocket price for something that should have been taken care of in house, is lazy. We've also had to bring the car in twice to get the alignment fixed however, it's still not done correctly which means we have to spend an additional amount just to get that taken care of. The salesman could also use some additional training. "Ummm, uhhh, I don't know" is not an acceptable response to questions that you're unsure of- put the customer on hold and speak to your peer or manager and then get back to us. "Let me ask my manager and I'll call you back" was an okay response *at first* until there was no follow up. I could go on about the multiple other issues we've ran into but I digress, buy a car somewhere else. read more

In February we got a car from there. We were told by (I believe his name is Juan Miguel) that even though our payment is high after 1 month of paying the payment and our previous car coming off our credit we could go in and it would be able to be lowered. When we had the discussion with him we informed him of my fiancees upcoming surgery and that we couldnt afford that high of a payment. He kept saying it would be able to come down. When I kept trying to explain my fiancee could be out of work anywhere from 2 weeks to 7 weeks and we going to be really tight on cash he just kept repeating the credit going up from 1 payment and the previous car coming off and then treating me like I was stupid when I kept pushing that we were going to be low on funds come June and July. He didn't care about anything else than making us take the car. So we go in this week because we've paid that payment and no ones credit went up and now we were told it would take 2 more payments. So he lied and now we are locked in and are completely and totally screwed on our bills going forward. He treated us terribly and then turned out to be a big liar. I don't know what we are going to do, but I do know I will tell anyone and everyone not to do business with this company. They do not care about anything other than pushing cars and terrible financing on people. Go to larry h Miller. They will help you and listen. Even Shifting Gears (formly right way) is better and they had really not been a good experience for us. I went to purchase a Nissan Ariya and the sales associates and sales manager were unfamiliar with current offers through NMAC (the finance part of Nissan) and unwilling to help with the New Mexico EV Tax Credit as Point of Sale. Frustrating because A) the first time I visited I would have agreed to purchase the car if they had included the best "bonus" lease deal to bring the price down by more than $5,000, and B) the second time I visited they still couldn't find the "bonus" lease deal (despite being listed on the Nissan website as a Signature Flex Lease and giving Melloy hints about listings from other dealers) and the car was already sold to someone else. The lack of support for the NM state EV Tax Credit via Point of Sale (get the credit immediately!) is a major inconvenience but not a showstopper as it can be recouped when filing taxes. read more

When I asked how they got my mother's information in regards to my car that I also long ago sold , they could not provide any information about that . Recently it was a hot day when I stopped in. I was shocked when I saw the salespeople sitting in a new Armada with the engine and air conditioning running and no miles being clocked on the odometer. This went on for over an hour. What the heck, is someone may be buying a new $70,000 vehicle with dozens or hundreds of hours on the engine and few miles recorded... only that they drive to fill up the tank again?? Before Covid I always bought vehicles below MSRP, the manufacturers suggested retail price. This dealership is NOW charging a dealership markup of thousands above MSRP, plus their roughly $400 brake light flashing system (that a similar system for my motorcycle was $40) plus wheel locks and a ton of other marked up add ons. Basically they are marketing cars up 3-6 thousand. Buyer beware. Also the hey tried to lowball the trade, offering about 25% of KBB. Also, their lifetime warranty is only if you have it serviced by them and it only covers internally lubricated parts. So the crankshaft? I feel this is a scam to have it serviced by them and most any part that breaks will not be covered.. shame on you. read more

Absolutely the worst buying experience I've had and I've bought 5 vehicles. First, they used a bait and switch marketing tactic to get me in the door based on my recent home purchase, targeting specific areas with a guarantee of "prize winnings" based on the flyer scratch offs. Turns out, there was no prize. Instead it was another "game" that had to be played to win. Bait and switch. But they had a used van I liked at the right price so I bought a vehicle anyway. Then, they tacked on $6k worth of "additional charges" for a cheap hitch accessory and an absolutely worthless roof rack that isn't installed properly nor the correct model for the vehicle. Been calling the rep for months asking about it and they just give me crap instructions over the phone. Finally had enough... I offered to bring it in and leave it for a couple days for them to correct the roof rack problem. Now I'm told, two months later, oh just take the cross bars off. What's the point of a roof rack if I have to leave half of it behind in order to not have the loudest wind noise in the entire universe directly over my head? Ok, fine... I'll take the cross bars off. Only I can't. The key does literally nothing and the hex key needed to remove the crossbars is who knows where, since they left it and a pile of trash in the van when o first picked it up, I tossed it. And the tow package? Oh there's no lights for it so literally can't tow anything. Absolutely the worst customer service. They have referred me to outside vendors who immediately start on my age and gender. Illegal all over. Don't bother with this location!. The accessories department is a waste of space and I still can't figure how a $200 roof rack and a $100 hitch cost me $6k in additional financing. Worst customer service. Worst experience. Bought my Murano from them in 2017. Was used but low miles and I got a super deal! Went on for oil change and tire rotation. They had a problem closing the hood...something with the latch. Do I know exactly what happened...NO. However, they did fix it at no charge to me. Gave me a new latch. Took responsibility which I appreciated. Their facility is the only ones who opened and closed the hood since I purchased. I have been pleased with the Murano. Don't want to sell it back. Thank You, Izzie, my Service Manager . *mareting technique* Malloy Nissan located on Lomas and Pennsylvania decided that misleading the public into thinking they could win either a lot of money a new car or free gas for a year is there a new tactic?. in the photo, you can clearly see the little game they are playing which is called crack the vault, it clearly states that the center number needs to be matched with the other six numbers surrounding it in order to win a prize. Once you have matched a prize number to the center number you will take the flyer to receive the prize. Note that it states activation code. On the bottom of the flyer, the sales associate circled the activation code which then they match to a paper they have in the store. The game in itself is just a ploy to mislead the public and to get you to come down to the dealership where they can sell a subpar vehicle. 1. 2019 Rogue Sport. A week ago, my fobs stopped working to lock and unlock the doors. At the same time, I got a "driver's door open" alert that wouldn't go away. I made an appointment at Melloy. Brian was assigned to help me. He explained at least 5 times (I finally told him I understand English and he didn't have to say that again) that I had closed the door on my seat belt and that had caused some denting and that is why the door alert was on (the sensor was not "feeling" the door shut). I told him that seemed like a bad design and he started defending Nissan ("Mercedes do that too!") He then told me that my fobs just needed new batteries. (Both at once? I got one of them much later than the first one, so no. Also I replaced both batteries last month. He ignored me when I said this.) He suggested I visit their body shop, told me to turn left to find it, and pointed right, but I wasn't doing that anyway. Just got home, googled the problem, and it's fixed now. (The sensor toggles, so one push and it's fine now!) I asked if that could be why the fobs stopped working, and he said he didn't know. 2. Before that, I made an online appointment and chose the option to wait for the car (I do not have anyone who can pick me up). When I checked in, the guy acted as if that was a surprise. 3. When I drove into the dealership, the garage doors were closed and it was not evident where I should park or pull up. A worker signaled to me and I rolled down my window and he told me to drive all around the building to get to the service area. The doors on that side were also closed and no one was outside to answer questions, so I parked in the ONLY place I could find, at the very back of the lot. I walked to the service area (doors now open) and was told to drive the car back around to where I first came in. Perhaps a sign? Perhaps some directions when you make your appointment? I purchased a new 2019 silver Nissan Kicks and love it! The warranty is phenomenal and so was the service! We were wary of buying during the COVID outbreak but everything was clean and constantly being sanitized. Everyone wore masks and they constantly wiped down all surfaces with Lysol! There was lots of plexiglass and warnings not to come in if symptomatic or if you had been around someone who was symptomatic. They even had the radar thermometers! I have to say that my overall experience at Melloy Nissan has been very positive. I was fortunate to get a very good car from here that so far, has not needed anything major, and that's a blessing as I see and hear so many buying from other automakers and constantly deal with engine failure. This review was not sponsored by Melloy Nissan, and they have no scripted or coached me on anything I'm about to say. Most of us are incredibly weary of buying - and then servicing - our vehicles directly from a manufacturers dealership - regardless if it's ran by local management. Many of us have had incredibly bad experiences, and that's why a lot of us - hard working people who value our money - just opt to buy a used car, and service it at our local "mom and pop" type shop. I have to say my biggest surprise was Nissan being on top of things. Now, given Nissan has a rich and long heritage as an automaker, and they have had incredibly bad issues with engines and quality control, but with that said my little car gives me hope that they can turn it around. Why would I have hope? Well like most of you, I am incredibly skeptic of anything claimed by a major corporation. Which is why after my service experiences - and with the approval of the warranty company - I had another independent shop check the work of this service center. The results : 45,000 miles and beyond regular oil changes, no major engine failure nor has the vehicle required any major engine work (clutch, bearings, belts). I do need to go back to get the engine balanced, and look forward to it. To the service managers, you may take offense, however my aim in doing this was for my own safety. I have been left dead flat by too many vehicles in my life to leave anything to chance, and that is why I had another official Nissan shop - and and one other I trust - check your work. I wouldn't trade this car for anything, and I find ways to drive it because it's a nice ride and was exactly what I needed. For that, thank you. I called Melloy Nissan to confirm an appointment. The Sales Service Representative, Sarah Martinez, was very rude and unprofessional when informing me that she couldn't hear me over the phone, claiming that something must be wrong with my personal phone. I then spoke up and continued with confirming my appointment. She continued with an unprofessional and rude demeanor, asking me to repeat myself several times, messing up the spelling of my last name (CROFT), and calming that I wasn't in their system. I attempted to explain that I just set up an appointment with her manager, she rudely interrupted me and attempted to tell me about the different Nissan dealerships and that I must have made a mistake, totally frustrating the situation. I then requested to talk to a different representative, she then transferred the phone without acknowledgement, and ended the line. I then called back and requested her name as she disclosed very rudely and unprofessionally, she provided me with her first and stated "if it makes it any better my last name is"... so thank you, Sara Martinez. Overall her customer service/professionalism skills need improving. My mom, family, and now I have been long lasting customers of Nissan and never experienced someone so unprofessional and rude (key terms in this review) She is representing Nissan and unfortunately will be receiving a low rating due the lack of knowledge that the representative has within the company.  However, I was able to speak to a manager and situate my concerns. read more

We purchased a car from this company one week ago it was a used one, had some detail work that needed to be done. 8 days later we are still waiting for the car when we were promised it would only take a day or two. When I have contacted the sales girl who sold it to us there is absolutely no clear answer. This was friday when we purchased the car by Sunday I asked if it was ready she said hasn't been to the shop yet I'll take it Monday. I wait until Wednesday which is now 5 days later I contact the sales manager he says "we are just waiting for a clip and I can't give you a time frame because this part had to be ordered, but we will call you when it's done. Ok so I take that as an answer. I get contacted through text message and ask if we have gotten insurance on the car and at this point I'm beyond frustrated my insurance needs the car to take pictures they don't want to work with us to send a link over, and gave pictures sent in. As this review is being written it is the eighth day I've reached out to the finance manager no call back yet, no response back from the girl who sold it to us. I would definitely do my research with other car dealerships before choosing Melloy Nissan. I love to give reviews on businesses because I know word of mouth is powerful so to have to give a bad review is not something I like to do however at this point this is very unprofessional and I would choose somewhere else for sure. read more

Took my car in for a specific issue, they addressed it quickly and gave me a bunch of recommendations on other things found during the diagnostic that may need to be addressed. I get tired of the whole upscale factor of business in general but this wasn't any hassle. They just text me a link to the recommendations and I approved what I want to be addressed. Very simple and straight forward. They were on top of every details, very prompt on timing and in their checks in to keep me updated on the progress. I pay for FULL warranty coverage for my brand new 2023 nissan. I took my car in to Melloy Nissan to get my car checked, as it was not working properly and completely shut down while i was driving home on the interstate in a different state. They gave me 3 conflicting and contradictory stories as to why my car was not turning on. They ended up only replacing my gas and fuel pump and returned to car to me. Still unable to tell me exactly why my car shut down the way it did. They then proceeded to tell me that i have to pay for a tank of gas? When i took my car in with a completely full tank. If i take it in full, i should get it back full. And all work should be covered under the warranty i pay for. But the manager, Mike, came at me extremely unprofessionally, unkindly and had no personable approach at all. I spoke to him for a whole 30 seconds and he was beyond fucking rude. Was being the most vile and ugly form of toxic masculinity and trying to make me pay for an issue that should be covered. He was upset i questioned the charge and his authority and reacted poorly. I don't recommend taking your services here, they have to intent to genuinely help you. Went in today because Ram Truck dash was crashing. The Service Advisor Tommy greeted me, took one look at the truck & said let me get a tech to look at it real quick. Service tech Tyler came out, quickly told me what the issue was & how they could fix it. 10 days was going to be a problem because I really needed the truck next week. He made some calls found a solution to get the truck back in a few days. This I really thinking outside the box to find a solution. Both the Advisor & Service Tech. showed great customer service skills in their handling of my problem. This type of attitude will keep me coming back in the future. "Safety issue" I Purchase my Nissan frontier 5 yers ago at Melloy Nissan at Lomas- airbags are making a popping sound, I was told my fee was $156 for multi point inspecting on passenger air bag, and to check for a re- call as I was paying I observed a larger amount for used part fees...? No recall was checked they are asking $685 to replaced one air bag, since it's a safety issues, they should be covered through the manufactured, after an unclear explanation I paid and as I drove out the parking a engine light came on, I called the very next morning, the is asking for another inspection fee! No I don't recomen this ( Nissan on Coors nor the Lomas location ) employees chitchatting , sitting around no one's able to help the technicians on the back...! read more
