He was hiding the damages to The Benz and lied that the pressure light simply needs more air instead it had tire sensors damaged. The passenger airbag light was on yet he never mentioned it in his advert online in all the social media posts but instead posted a CARFAX report. He should've added the damages to the car but he didn't and misled buyers that everything was perfect. He complained when I asked him to fix those damages coz in TX the seller is liable for undisclosed damages. Apparently at that car had an unreported accident and he pretended he didn't know that. He didn't want to be accountable for his undisclosed damages. He needs to highlight the known damages like airbags never time so the buyer knows what needs to be fixed. read more

Worst Experience I HAVE EVER HAD. Walked in mind you already had let Ina know I was coming either on a Wednesday or Thursday. She wasn't there Thursday the day I came which she could have informed me of that if she wasn't available that day. So Renee comes out gives us her business cards in civilian clothes talking on the phone. She tells me that I am going to have to hurry and test drive it because they clothes in an hour. LMAO. So I guess she didn't want the sale even if u did want the car. During the test drive she was on the phone not really seemed pleased to do her job. Essentially, Zia Auto is a huckster establishment. We paid $14,000 in cash for a lemon of a car and when we sought recourse and explanation, we were met with apathy and excuse making. The car has become a money pit and an habitual problem almost from the moment we drove it off the lot. From minor interior flaws to perpetual system and electric failures: the pit is seemingly endless. Do not, please, buy a car from Zia Auto--you will only be sorry for not heeding these words. *update Like all huckster establishments: these con artists have commented below with fabrication and, as it always goes, they blame the victim. Yes, the tire sensor went out and yes the seat stopped moving and yes the inside handles to the doors fell off and yes the visor mirrors broke and yes the coil went out ($1000 replacement) and yes I was stranded in Jackson Mississippi for a week because the throttle body went out a week after the car was purchased and all this is just a preview of the lemon. What they meant to say below was: buy a new car because if you buy one from Zia Auto: we will take advantage and make money off your despair, have a nice day. PS The best part below is when they say they were out of town. Like an abusive husband having an affair and making excuses after. It's pretty disgusting. Bought a van from them assuming the keys were included. A $250 dollars charge to get a key and a fob. The fob I got was a used one...and Adam, my salesman found two of the keys, so I got a new and used fob for my $250. After taking my van on a trip to California, 1200 miles later I check the oil, and it is a quart low. I don't know if they put the synthetic oil in that the specs call for, or what they did. I do know the synthetic oil is to be changed every 15K mikes, and the oil changes sticker they put on my window calls for an oil change in 3K miles. I don't think I trust their service unit. I told my salesman at lest four times I wanted a turquoise liscense plate, and I ended up with a yellow one. Too bad. read more

I am rarely in the market to buy a car (last purchase cash for a new Odyssey in 2008). I find the whole system distasteful. However, my current car is a 15 years old civic. With 2 sons heading to college and a daughter about to become a new driver our family is looking at likely 3 purchases in the next few months. We test drove 2 cars on this lot. This brings my test drives in the past 8 years to 3 (one other 3 weeks earlier that my son was considering). Initially I was pleased by the experience. I was looking around to consider if I might test drive another when the salesman asked if we were looking to buy today. I stated that was very unlikely with my wife not there (in other words I'm not desperate to buy). He told us we should come back when we were ready to buy and all parties needed to make the decision were there (in other words, get off the lot and don't waste my time). I think he thought we were just test driving for entertainment. Fact is my son has been itching to test drive some cars to make his own purchase as well. I could have dropped down cash for any 3 cars on that lot but was treated by the salesman like he thought I was some punk just because I was honest about not being desperate to buy something at that very moment. These people are dishonest, overpriced, and overall ethically questionable. It turns out the vehicle we purchased from Zia Auto had been involved in an accident and they failed to inform us of this, even after specifically asking this question. They snuck in an unwanted warranty into our final purchase price and claimed "it would be too much work to take out at this point." They promised a free oil change if we left a positive online review. (I wonder if this is the only reason they have positive reviews here). They failed to explain the "fine print" of this deal, and did not deliver on the promise when we went to claim the offer. This turned into a condescending lecture on the importance of getting oil changes. There was a chip in our windshield when we purchased our vehicle. We asked if they could fill it in before we bought it, and they claimed they had already filled it in. Later the chip turned into a crack, and we had to have it sealed. We decided to give Pete's Garage, Zia's affiliated repair shop, a shot with a repair we needed. They wanted to weld broken pieces for more than double what it cost us to replace the broken parts! Bottom line, I will never return to Zia Auto, and I certainly DO NOT recommend them to ANYONE! read more

I purchased a 2009 ford fusion from Zia auto. At the time my life was falling apart, lost a business, Marriage and definitely needed something to help me get passed everything. Zia worked with helping me finance this car(yes it was high interest but I had no other options at the time). In doing so I was able to start my own business and build my credit back up. The car (Fusion), had some minor issues that I would expect a used car to have that had 80k miles on it. I kept the car for 5years until I sold it privately to a coworker and they still drive it today (2019). I bought the car back in 2012. The reason I am posting this now is because My son is now 16 and we are looking for a used car and the 1st place I thought of looking is Zia. We are returning customers to Zia last year we bought a Nissan Leaf EV with them they did such a good job we decided to return this year to replace our 2012 Ford Taurus and just like the first time Ina and the Zia Team went above and beyond to take care of us now with Covid safe shopping we shopped the Zia website and found a very nice 2016 Hyundai Tucson Limited Ina set up appointment for us to test drive the car and take delivery of it if we chose to buy it on the day of our appointment Ina called us and asked if we could come later in the day because Zia wanted to buy us new tires because they were not happy with the ones the car had we were more then happy to go later in the afternoon when we got to the dealership the car was waiting for our test drive it was clean and sanitized with the A/C going Ina went above and beyond once again to get us the best deal and the best financing available and just like last time the cars they sell go though a thorough inspection and they fix any issues that are found and even after taking delivery of the vehicle when we found a couple of issues that were missed and called them about it they were more then happy to schedule an appointment to have them fixed free of cost at their NAPA certified repair shop it is clear why they have been in business for more then 30 years we like that they treat everyone like family we will continue to return to Zia for all future car purchases and we are more then happy to send friends and family over to Zia read more

SCOUNDRELS! It took hours to purchase the car I wanted; this was after I had visited previously and made a decision about purchasing said vehicle. They sold me a car with the brake light out, and won't fix it. They did not detail my car even though they said they would. They completely low balled me on my trade-in and did the whole "well you have a scratch here blah blah blah." I would NOT go back EVER. I asked if they would fill up the gas tank, since the gas light was on. Not only did they say no, but they were absolutely RUDE about it. By the time I actually got the keys to my car, I wasn't even happy about buying the vehicle. I don't believe the car buying experience should be this way. I purchased a 2008 jeep from Zia last week for my son and my experience was not at all like some of the negative reviews I saw. I must admit I was a little anxious after reading the reviews but the staff was very open and transparent during my purchase and I am happy with the transaction. No high pressure. There was a problem with the Jeep, on the way home found the heater was not working. Called Zia on the way home, as it was too late to return to the dealer. When I dropped off the Jeep for repair the following day I talked with the owner and there was some communication issues, he was a bit curt but also very passionate about his company. Hard for me to find fault in that. After we all calmed down and understood we both wanted the same thing, a Jeep that works with heat. Zia replaced the heater core and covered the repair as part of the warranty. I don't normally post reviews but I thought I would in this case as I am a happy customer and likely to buy from them again. read more

Great customer service! John at Zia Auto is as good as they come when it comes to friendly service with very little pressure. He played no games told us what he could do and got us int a beautiful Toyota Cienna that we could afford. Any problems I have had (as well as any questions) have been met with a helpful pleasant demeanor. This is rare in the used auto trade. Usually when they finish the deal you become the pariah of the lot and they don't want any hassles, just your money. This is not the case at Zia. I have even called when John wasn't there and another associate helped me with the same patience as John. I would encourage anyone to do business with Zia Auto. read more

On Friday I sent an email with an offer and Frank responded with "Deal! Congratulations, see you tomorrow". I then talked to Frank on phone to discuss completing the paper work which he then told me "I will drive the vehicle to the back and come in tomorrow to do the paper work". On Saturday I talked with Frank and Tim on the phone to let them know we are on the way to do paper work which they then told me the truck sold in the morning. Mike was the salesperson we worked with and he was nice, not salesy, had a conversation with us and let us look at the cars we were interested in. They did not object, agreed that we should have a discussion and sent us home with the paperwork. After having a long talk, my husband and I decided to buy. We went in on a Sunday, signed the paperwork & went home with a beautiful car. The next day, we got a call from Rafael who is the finance rep we worked with. He continued to work for us and found a different bank that agreed to a much lower APR. They already had their money and already made the sale, but went the extra mile to find us better financing.
