This is my favorite chocolate and gelateria at KoP. Strong gelato flavor and sweet. The tiramisu has pieces of lady fingers. I bought mine to go in a cardboard container. I brought an insulated bag and when I got home 2 hours later, it was not too melting. Lorenzo was very nice, patient, and helpful. He helped me to sign up for the reward program. I got free small chocolate bar for signing up. Because I spent more than $40 , I receive 5 percent off for a year. He helped me making selections for the chocolate from the glass display. The dark chocolate with orange is my favorite. He's very honest too. He noticed that I gave too much money and returned it to me. You can sample the gelato but you have to make a purchase. Just let them know what you want to buy. They have hazelnut spread with no sugar. It's a bit bitter but only has 2 grams of sugar per serving. read more

I like chocolate, but I would choose vanilla and creamy things over chocolate generally speaking. However when I saw Venchi get on TooGoodToGo, I had to see what random thing I'd get- especially since I learned about their quality chocolate from an Elite event earlier. I got two bags exactly the same, but each bag had a random assortment of quality chocolate all in the same green colored wrapping. The quantity seemed kinda small at first, but then as I ate and experienced the variety, it seemed reasonable. The deal seems to be about $3 off the regular retail price per bag. And, no, I didn't just get the random TooGoodToGo bags. I also had their famous gelato and they always do it so well- chocolate or not- I chose their autumn essence because I love blood red grapefruit and the panna cotta flavor (I couldn't remember this common classic name and had to google up classic Italian cake names since Venchi only lists their most common flavors or very special ones currently being featured on their website.) I also didn't take pictures of the inside because I didn't want to be annoying paparazzi like. Plus, if you can find the Elite event listing, there are many pictures of the interior too! Absolutely delicious gelato at the King of Prussia mall! Though it's on the pricy side, it's so worth it for high-quality and authentic gelato (not surprised to hear they import from Italy). The store itself is gorgeous; I was eyeing it for weeks before I stopped in (wanted to make sure my husband was with me and didn't miss out). I opted for the hazelnut and tiramisu, which were both incredible, so rich and creamy. I apparently have to stop back in to try pistachio! They top each cone with a piece of chocolate. The dark chocolate is DARK. Must be at least 90% and nicely balanced with the sweetness of the gelato. I want to try more of their chocolates too! Service was also friendly and quick. TL;DR: If I had to pick a single favorite gelato/ice cream of all time-- I'd pick Venchi's pistachio. The conundrum: I passed over trying Venchi several times due to the long lines and a strong suspicion that it would be expensive and not live up to the hype. Despite every other first impression you may have (i.e. garish decorations and proximity to the glitzy high-end, "conspicuous consumption" mecca of the mall) -- it actually lives up to the hype! There's typically a huge line at all times, but it does tend to ebb and flow. I would stand in line again for the pistachio and hazelnut gelatos. read more

Popped in while shopping at the mall. Noticed how bright and well spaced the shop was. Everything was well lit and they seemed to make everything easy to find. There were plenty of associates around to ask questions to. And the Stracciatella was delicious as well. It was about $7.25 for a single kids scoop. The staff are very nice here, I came to get chocolates for a friend but I wasn't sure of which one to get, so they let me try some and showed me different options. So yummy! After I got the chocolate, I thought I might get a treat for myself. I got some mango sorbet and some of the matcha one. They were so good! Very smooth, a the flavors were rich and real. If you sign up for their rewards program, you get many goo deals, and when I was there, I got a good deal on Th hazelnut spread, very good price. Just wow! I attended a Yelp event here and found everything to be absolutely perfect! The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional, especially the shift manager, Jade. Walking in at first glance, it almost feels like you're inside a Willy Wonka movie. The walls are filled with replicas of gelatos as well as real chocolate bars and real chocolates. Chocolates All items are imported from Italy and are without fillers, and artificial ingredients, as well as no unnecessary sugars. There is a variety of everything: white chocolate, dark chocolate, milk chocolate, even chocolate covered orange peels. As a vegan, I was able to find plenary of chocolate. In fact, everything with a green label is vegan! My favorites were the hazelnut chocolates and the orange chocolates. You're able to purchase any amount you'd like: an individual chocolate (for $2), a box of 7 ($16), as well as an array of brittles, bars, and various sized boxes. Gelato The gelatos are separated by those that are dairy based and those that are water based. All water based are vegan. I tried the cashew, strawberry, mango, and mango passion fruit. The mango passion fruit made my eyes roll in the back of my head. The cashew tasted exactly like creamy, silky cashews. Cones and cups There were two chocolate fountains to line the top of your cone or cup. One is milk chocolate and the other dark chocolate, that is vegan. You have the option to include a layer of nuts or seasonal dried berries on top of the chocolate layer. I opted for a cup with dark chocolate and hazelnuts. If that wasn't enough, my gelato could get a small chocolate round that was either milk chocolate or dark chocolate. There was a line at the gelato side of the store, but I was the only person at the time that was there for chocolate. Extremely incompetent people who doesn't know what's going on and doesn't care about the customer. The supervisor is very rude and after going back and forth and not able to find out what we ordered (the person who took the order just went away after we paid it and after coming back 2 minutes later, didn't know what we ordered), he just slammed the cover and gave us a really bad attitude. We asked for a refund and didn't want anything from them. We have been to the store in other locations and people are very nice. We had the most pleasant and friendly visit this weekend at Venchy in the King of Prussia Mall. The store manager waiting on us and was very attentive to our needs.
