Everything is fantastic. From the name our front, to the decor inside, and the service. Top notch all the way around. We went to Madison for to check out the waterfalls and needed something to eat. My girlfriend found this place and said let's try it. We walked in and it you're hit with a decor of music for all tastes. Looking at the menu I was drooling. I was hoping the food would match the decor and they knocked it out of park! Espresso Martini, rock n roll shrimp to start and finished off with the blackened Mahi tacos. I will have to say that out of all the places that I visit during my travels, this has got to be the best place to eat chicken wings in the state of Indiana. The vibe is so cool and the atmosphere is so fun. The beer is good and cold and they have local breweries on tap. I would highly recommend sitting up at the bar so you can chat it up with Haley. Lunch service today for our business was spot on. Our table 6 was offered inside our outside seating. As a business lunch we chose inside and were in a central room off kitchen that allowed us privacy and quiet. Fish tacos were had by most of the team they enjoyed then thoroughly. I had the Freebird. Fries were hit and miss but the bbq chicken slaw was delicious. Nice tang in the slaw. Nice salads too. Food was prompt and drinks refilled quickly. My mom and I were visiting Madison and stopped into MAD LOVE when our original restaurant choice was too busy. It looked like this place was busy too, but we were seated right away. There were a couple different dining areas, a bar, and outdoor covered patio, so they can fit a lot more parties than it seems from the outside! The decor was really fun and the staff were friendly and helpful. We split a giant bavarian pretzel to start and then we each got the special of the day, which was a chicken salad sandwich on a croissant, kettle chips, and some pasta salad. Everything hit the spot! The pretzel really was giant and came out hot! The sandwiches were good and I really loved the pasta salad. There's plenty of street parking surrounding the restaurant and I really appreciated that we could pay at our table using the QR code printed on the receipt. read more

What a find!!! We were so happy to follow recommendations and had dinner Wednesday night (Italian night)..Patty, the hostess was adorable, music old school Sinatra, wait staff great, food delicious! (I had the Mahi). The decor was amazing!!!Four of us from Carmel Indiana visiting to hike, etc. Consensus....we will go back the second night. Thursday we had to wait for a table, (and think we took backseat to a couple tables of locals) Hostess was certainly no Patty. We were seated under a fan going full blast.... And it was chilly. We asked to have the fan turned down, or off...we were told she couldn't "reach it". We would have been extremely uncomfortable, so we left. What a fantastic dining experience we had at Mad Love! A restaurant that we would have never tried if our old tried and true favorite restaurants were open! The spaghetti Mason had was outstanding, my salad was to die for and we both had margaritas that were absolutely the best I've ever tasted! Staff was so friendly and nice! Long story short, we took shelter in their basement when the tornado hit; much appreciated! The food was amazing, one of the best bacon cheeseburgers I've had in a long time! Popped in with my pup today after visiting a nearby state park, and Mad Love was the perfect place! Their patio, when open, is dog friendly, and they were so kind and loving to mine while I had lunch. Not only did they get him a water bowl with fresh water, he also was given treats and pets. We had our food quickly, and it was so tasty there wasn't even anything left to take a photo of. We had just finished a 6 mile hike prior to hitting the Madison downtown area and it was 2:30 and everything was packed deep with tons of wait times and lines, but since this place was just a bit further down the stop it wasn't as packed. After a scenic tour of Madison, we weighed our options and chose MadLove! It is a very eclectic experience, with great food and fun servers. My wife and I got the Mac N Cheese with grilled chicken which was pretty good. To my knowledge the only restaurant that has a better Mac N Cheese with chicken is 'The Eagle.' We ordered the specials, a chicken spinach wrap for my wife and a cod sandwich for me. Along with a couple drinks, a raspberry margarita and a bud light. Cool musical theme through the restaurant. My wife loved her sandwich. I was a bit disappointed because I felt like the fish was too much like a breaded frozen fish I could get at the local grocery. The homemade tartar sauce couldn't makeup for the fish. Source a better cod patty and give the sauce something to complement . Stopped by here for a late lunch/early dinner on a Thursday afternoon. What a great place! Loved the music and the pop art that graced the walls with some of the best musicians from our lifetime. They played 80s music mostly, not too loud but just right to be able to converse. Our server Hailey was friendly and efficient. Her recommendations were spot on. We started with the giant pretzel to share ... best I've ever had! The stone ground mustard was perfect! We asked for seconds on that!! We both had burgers which were fabulous as well. They were all way better than I expected! My husband had the club sandwich with fries. The sandwich was loaded with thick cuts of meat and real bacon. He loved it. Plus, they offer Coke products and really good tea. Too many restaurants have Pepsi. We are on the patio out back. It was a perfect day for being outside. Check out the bathroom closest to the patio. SO FUN! You can't say that about most bathrooms. We live 2 hours away but we'll be back as often as possible. It's worth the drive!!! read more

Mad Love was a quaint little restaurant, and then the server arrived. Super busy, but made us feel like we were the only people in the world. Stopped by to make sure drinks were topped off and asked us if there was anything he could help sway one way or the other. Then the food came to the table. Unbelievable flavor packed into just one plate! My wife got the Hey Girl! and I ordered the Smashed Love Burger. We shared, and I can't tell you which one's better - they both rock.
