I really enjoyed my first visit here--a gentleman did my pedicure, he did a great job!…read more Unfortunately, my second visit was a completely different experience. A woman did my pedicure, and I specifically mentioned that I don't like polish getting on my skin. She tried to clean it up, but I still have gel polish on my skin 5 days later. I kept hoping it would come off on its own, but since it's gel, it's definitely hanging on. I hate being picky, but when you're paying $70+ plus tip for a pedicure, you want the polish to look clean and professional. The salon itself is clean, staff is kind, the decor is nice, and even the flowers outside give it such a pretty, welcoming vibe. I would return, but I'll definitely be requesting the older gentleman who did my first pedicure.

My cousin's pedicure was completed by three different technicians. The first did a great job with the cleaning and massage. A second technician applied the gel French polish to her right foot, but then a third technician came over to do the left foot. Even after my cousin asked for it to match the right, the French tip was much thinner. Instead of fixing the left foot, the technician tried filing down the already-finished right big toenail to make it match. We repeatedly asked her to leave it or make it look like the original, but she ignored us until it was obvious we were very unhappy. My experience was even more concerning. During my pedicure, I noticed the technician dabbing my big toe several times, but she never told me she had cut me. I also saw her take out what appeared to be super glue. The polish quality was also unacceptable. My cousin and I had regular polish on our fingernails done on a Wednesday evening, and by Saturday afternoon, before the wedding, it had chipped so badly that we both had to remove it. My gel polish on my toes was no better. Gel polish should last several weeks, but by week three, it had already come completely off three toes and was lifting on several others. A few days later, my toe became infected, and I had to go to urgent care. That's when I realized she had cut me during the pedicure. I'm still waiting on my medical bills and plan to discuss them with the salon owner.
