She is amazing and I can honestly say she really does do a perfect job. I needed a perfect and beautiful set of nails for my niece's wedding and that is what I got, along with a number of complements. I now have another wedding to attend for my cousin's daughter, and I know she will do another phenomenal set. I do have to say she does a great job on any set she does and if you are stumped on a design, she has at least a dozen books of nail designs she has done to give you an incentive. I couldn't rate it higher or lower because thus far I have not experienced better yet I'm not in the positive range either. There's a problem with someone who has a business and states that they double booked and blames it on having a cold; stating that they do gel tips yet put acrylics on my nails (and I am not an expert but had a feeling that is not what I wanted); had them start to lift off the 3rd day; rescheduled me for the weekend and when I confirmed state she gave my appt away and rescheduled for the following week? REALLY? gave my appointment away? Blames the first appt oversight on a cold? I guess I'm a bit perplexed on how she has such high reviews.

I honestly hate having to leave a review like this, but after the experience I had, I feel like I…read moreneed to be honest. At this point, I would honestly just like a refund for both sets of nails I paid for. My friend and I got our nails done on the same day. Within a week, we were already having issues with our nails, so my friend called the salon. She was told that because it had only been a week, they would fix our nails for free with the same designs. We were told it might be a couple of days before they could get us back in, so we scheduled the appointment and showed up. When we arrived, my friend's nails were fixed without an issue. When it was my turn, however, I was told that because it had been more than two weeks, he would only do a solid color for free and would not redo the same designs. At first, I was willing to accept that and move on. Unfortunately, the actual repair was extremely disappointing. Three of my nails were fixed very quickly, and the quality was noticeably different from the work done on my friend. One nail is now lifting because the original extension was not completely removed and another extension was glued on top of it. The color is also missing from that nail. One of my pointer nails was filed/applied noticeably crooked, to the point that it is very obvious. There are also areas of discoloration where the polish was applied properly in one area but looks incomplete or uneven in another. My thumb has a similar issue. What bothered me just as much as the quality of the repair was how I was treated during the appointment. I tried explaining that we had both gotten our nails done on the same day and that this was supposed to be a repair appointment based on what we had originally been told. I felt dismissed and belittled when I brought up my concerns. The experience became especially uncomfortable after my friend left the room. He barely spoke to me for the remainder of my appointment, and when my friend came back in, he immediately started talking to me again. My friend even asked afterward what had happened because she noticed the change in how I was being treated. I don't expect perfection, and I understand that nails can sometimes have issues. What I do expect is consistent customer service, respectful communication, and a repair that is done properly. Unfortunately, I did not feel like I received any of those things. I left feeling embarrassed, frustrated, and like my concerns were an inconvenience. At this point, considering the problems with both sets and the experience I had trying to get them corrected, I feel that a refund would be the appropriate resolution.
