Our cat, Bugs, has stayed at Madame's Cathouse many times. The cats roam free in a large area filled with cozy carpeted cat cubes, wall mounted platforms, and screened in window perches. The cat house is in a quiet wooded area with a nice even temperature. The cat lady checked on the cats several times a day and spends time with each arriving cat to get them settled in. Madam's Cathouse is One-of-a-Kind and I highly recommend it. Our 2 kitties always come home happy & healthy. We have had Sharron watch our critters many times, ranging from 2 to 8 weeks. The cat house is a stand-alone Ohana cottage and there are large enclosures available for the kitties to use if they wish, and they can aslo run free, there is a second door outside the first, so no chance of escape. Both of my cats really like the window boxes that are affixed to the outside of the house so they can look at the jungle. The prices are fair and the care is like family. I am so glad to have found this! I would give 12 stars if I could! read more

This is a great cat boarding place. Your cat gets to roam free in the large quiet Ohana room located in the trees in Eden Rock. The room is full of cat condos, cat toys, and shelves mounted on the wall to make cat perches. There are screened-in areas mounted in windows where your cat can be "outdoors" and be safe. There are several open kennels with cushions where your cat can feel safe. Sharon puts each arriving cat in one of the kennels and lets the other cats meet the new visitor. Then Sharon opens the kennel to allow the new cat to roam free. She makes the cat food places it where each cat likes to eat, so there is no food poaching. Our cat Bugs has stayed here several times for up to 4 weeks. He comes home happy and well cared for (maybe a little heavier). ginger read more

She is the best and gives so much love to my kitty while we were mainland that we could enjoy our time away knowing our little prrrr baby was in such wonderful, caring hands as her. I have been taking my feline, fur babies to Sharon soon after she opened her business in 2006. I travel with my own business and need a home away from home for my babes. I can call her and check on them whenever I feel the need. Sharon always gives me a rundown on how they are doing and exactly what they have experienced. There are normally other guests and I find it amazing that they all get along. It is as if they know their parents are away and this is the place to stay! I love it, the place is darling, full of fun things to do and cozy hideouts to lounge in. Give this place a try, go visit and meet Sharon. I reallly feel she is the one and only, "Cat Whisperer" on the Islands! Your baby can even go pick a comfortable window section to smell and see all the birds in this special spot, deep in the rain forrest. Give her a call and talk story, she will love it! This place is awesome! Sharon is extremely knowledgeable about cats. We had a kitten find us right before we were scheduled to take a trip so it was nerve-wracking to leave a younger pet but she put us right at ease and even called us the next day to give us and update and encouraged us to feel comfortable to call and check up on him. She has a little house for just the cats and it was very clean and surprisingly fresh smelling. It's full of things for your cat to be entertained with. I believe she has one house cat that was so well mannered and was great with my kitten. It was comforting knowing my kitten would not be alone. I would highly recommend this cathouse. read more

Sharon has been a loving Aunt to my cats since 2007. My cat, Curly boarded with Sharon nearly four years in three month intervals. My husband and I took the time to drive from Kamuela to inspect Madame's Cathouse and to meet with Sharon. It seemed more of a Four Seasons Hotel/Disneyland epwehn you see it. I was immediately taken in by her warmth and answered all our questions and concerns, When the day got closer for me to leave for my extended trip, I would talk to the Curly and ask her to be friendly with the other cats and to behave. I even brought out the kennel she would be traveling in into the living room so she could slowly warm up to it. I truly was a mess when the day did finally arrive. As I was saying my goodbyes, and telling Curly I loved her and to be brave it was Sharon telling me to t brave and that Curly would be well taken care of. Whever my travels took me, I would call to check in and she would give me stories about dancing with my cat, new friends that were boarding and how they got along, what they ate and what videos she would put on for the cats. My cat would get so excited when Sharon would show up and she would immediately run into her kennel and was ready and willing to go with Sharon. She also does pick ups and drop offs either at your home or at the airport which is very convenient. Sharon has also nursed my cat after surgery and is very attentive and knowledgeable on cats overall well being, has great relationships with the local Vets and would not hesitate to call the doctor for advice or take them to the doctor if any health concern should arrive. My Curly has since passed on after 23 years on earth and again, it was so lovely when Sharon was there to comfort me of my loss and I too felt her sadness as well too because Sharon had spent so much time over the years with Curly. My second cat, Kealoha, was also a rescue cat who was recovering from a leg surgery and because of my upcoming trip I had to leave before my cat could fully heal. It was Sharon who nursed my baby back to health and brought kitty to the Vet for a pin removal and a check up. I have been using Sharon's services for ten years and I highly recommend her and every cent and every dollar is well worth it when you have peace of mind knowing that your precious cat are so well loved and taken care of. read more
