OK...I'm a big fan of Madcap. Their customer service is awesome. My BF and I stopped by to grab a quick espresso shot and they were not only extremely nice, but very informative and tried to go above and beyond. I could tell that they definitely know their stuff when it comes to coffee and the espresso was very tasty. I like how open and light it is in there and the best part is the walk up bar from outside! I love the vibe in this coffee shop but I was really expecting there to be a little more items on the menu then there were. I ordered a coffee and I was surprised to see that there weren't many options available to help with the taste of it. Only sugar no cream or anything. Everything about this place makes you want to go back and back. Vibe is awesome. Staff is friendly and makes some amazing coffee. You know when you walk in the coffee will be fantastic. The Americano was my go to. If I had one suggestion would be to carry other alternative milk besides Oat Milk. I would love if they also had Almond Milk. read more

I am a long time Madcap Coffee fan ever since I visited their flagship location in Grand Rapids. I love the amazing flavor each of their coffee drinks have -- it's so uniquely delicious. I've been here 5 times in a week. They have a different single origin espresso each day, they also do some called 1 to 1 which is 3 total drinks bubbly water, single shot of espresso and a macchiato. Who'da thought you could find amazing coffee in downtown Detroit? I didn't til I found this place. On par with anything in Portland.

The coffee is great and it's a really good place for a quick grab-and-go coffee. It just isn't a place you can get a cup of coffee and sit down and chat with another person. It's very small and they only have one long table with seating. The other tables are stand-only. Love the area it's in! Parker's Alley is great and this will definitely be my go-to coffee stop while shopping in the area. read more

Went in for a coffee on New Year's Eve. Very modern vibe - and not as much seating as I expected. Even though it's a higher end coffee place, the staff are friendly and down to earth - no hints of pretension or condescension, which I appreciated. We visited Detroit on our way to and from Amsterdam. Simply a great place in a great location in the very heart of the city. Wow! What coffee!! We went every day and were never disappointed. Quality baked goods, too. The staff, especially Taylor, were terrific and made us very very welcomed and well taken care of. i have to say that mad cap has some of best coffee around ive been to there café in Grand Rapids and detroit Have experience is different but copy to me is like wine I can't get any better than what madcap offers their beans everything they do is beyond excellence. so I highly recommend anybody wants A single origin that was your mind and gives you goosebumps I will say definitely check this place out you're not go wrong with your cup of Joe. so the specialise in roasting Coffee as a supplier to other coffee shop but they do have their own unique stores. so if you're ever in Grand Rapids check out their original madcap on Monroe Street. so every time I go there it's very special and intimate because having my coffee there is a very memorable. so baristas are crazy good at what they do. so I speak highly of madcap because the well-known through out the United States. I think to say they're the best coffee in Michigan and it's hard to go with anywhere else there local shops in different cities that come to the best coffee but when it comes to a single plot of coffee the roasts are mostly light roasts I can say did you an awesome Cemex choose your pickings and on what do you want from a latte to a poor over I would say do the poor over forsure.
