She says she wanted them removed which was not clearly stating the objection and he should have asked questions to clarify. But all that said, we hired him again to trim our oak tree as did our neighbor. I would recommend him. Note that he also has all the equipment to do the job safely and properly. A basket lift, excavator with brush claw and a chipper to immediately dispose of the residue. He isn't one of those fly by night tree monkey operators he is a pro.

He could have easily cut the tree down by hand from the ground with no issues at all. This is a 6" diameter pine tree with about 4 limbs at the top and nothing else around it. It's even leaning towards a big open empty lot. Couldn't possibly be any easier of a tree to cut down. My neighbor's lot is under construction so rather than bother himself to set up on the dirt lot next door where he had all the room in the world, he decided without asking me to just drive his tracked cherry picker across my paver driveway, all the way across my whole front lawn, and over two of my sprinkler heads. I work from home and could have easily been asked. I'm glad I got out there when I did and made him get out. If he can't take ten seconds to ask a glaringly obvious question or if he could care less about damaging another person's property - do you really want to hire him to do work for you? At least I got my $250 back. I'll probably need it to repair the sprinkler system. What's even more of a kick in the balls is that I asked him to come over about a year ago to look at removing an oak tree from my backyard. He wanted $1200 and told me then that he would need to drive that machine through the side of my property, through that grass, over those sprinklers, and I told him thanks but no thanks at that point as well. I was then promised a time for a quote, but no one showed up. I had to reach out multiple times just to get a response. Eventually, someone did come to my house. He was polite and gave me a price for part of the job. I asked for a few additional, simple items (like a small paver pad for trash cans) and was told I'd receive a full quote by email. That email never came. Again, I had to follow up multiple times with no results. After being ignored, I gave up and contacted other companies who were responsive and professional. If a job--especially one around a pool--is too difficult or not something you want to take on, it would be far better to just say so instead of stringing customers along. I wasn't begging for a job; I was simply looking for basic communication and reliability. Would not recommend.
