I've been going here for a couple years and have tried nearly every thing they offer. I enjoyed each meal whether it was dine in or order online to go! The atmosphere and customer service are amazing too.

Yum! Great little bistro lunch stop on our way back from up north. Nice service, good menu variety, they offer coffee as well but we got lunch only. My husband got the smoked turkey dill sandwich. I got the Thai peanut bowl both were unique and delicious. Order at the counter and they bring it to your table.

Excellent drinks and sandwiches if you have the time. A cute little bistro to enjoy conversation with a friend or get some work done, friendly service included. Do beware the note on their chalkboard that says "Good food takes time." It does.

Pretty cafe with some great food options. Since wild rice is native to this land go for the bowls instead of sandwiches.

This was such a cute restaurant! The menu was refreshing with the unique variety they offer. The salad was incredibly fresh and crisp. The sandwich was good but a tad bit salty for me. The staff was friendly and kind as well!

Fantastic! Stopped at Madeira while we visited Two Harbors during the holidays. Lunch here did not disappoint. Had the Hot Arty-Chick a bowl of chili and a glass of wine. The sandwich was delicious and I'm craving it now. Maderia is a beautifully decorated bistro with friendly staff. You will not be disappointed if you stop by.

The pastrami on the hiker sandwich was nice and tender but the meat was a little salty for my taste! The Madeira salad was beautiful blend of fresh veggies, meats, and fruits! I could not have asked for a better lunch. The service was friendly and the food came out quickly! The atmosphere in the shop was cute and I liked all the art and paintings on the wall!

Some extremely cool homemade crafts were in abundance within Louise's Place, including gnomes, various knitted pieces, and greeting cards, which I ended up getting, along with some tableclothes (since gifted out, no picture available of those). For the quality of the food, the value was great!

I've heard of this pizza place several times and have been meaning to give it a try. My dad and I walked in and we were greeted by a very pleasant and polite gal who made us feel right at home immediately. I didn't have my readers so I couldn't see the menu and just ordered a sausage and pepperoni pizza. The place had a nice vibe and while she was making pizzas the gal was still interacting with us. The pizza came out of the oven and served in about 15 minutes. Piping hot and cooked just enough on the well done side to be perfect. The first bite burned my mouth, my fault for not waiting. Each bite after that was amazing. The pizza crust was thin, crunchy, but light and airy almost. I've not experienced that type of crust before. The sauce had a distinct flavor that was top notch and the sausage was flavorful but not overbearing. I looked at my dad and said this is probably the best pizza I've ever had. He said the same thing. Highly recommend this place if you're stopping in Two Harbors, passing through or just decide to drive up like we will be doing next week to try another.

Unfortunately when I arrived there was no greeting from any of the numerous staff. The two front desk employees were very busy with their registers and the phone, and it was 5 minutes before I was able to speak to someone. The main lady was a bit short with me, (and I saw her be much shorter with other customers). They were really busy, so I can sympathize with the stress, but some more manners would have went a long way. Unfortunately my pickup time was 15 minutes later than the ETA I was given online. When it came to the pizza itself though, they really delivered! It's possibly the best BBQ Chicken pizza I've had, even though I was surprised by the inclusion of dill pickles. If you're a pizza fan visiting the north shore it's definitely worth considering this place!

We played it "safe" and ordered the nachos--and I say this without exaggeration: they were the best nacho platter I've ever had. Not just great tasting, but genuinely beautiful to look at. This wasn't a pile-of-chips-with-stuff-dumped-on-top situation. This was thoughtfully made, layered, and clearly crafted from real ingredients. Nothing felt canned or boxed. Fresh toppings, balanced flavors, and even details like using spinach instead of iceberg lettuce showed real care and intention. You could tell someone in that kitchen actually cares about what goes out on the plate. If you're anywhere near the area and even thinking about stopping in--do it. Great food, great vibe, and one of those meals that surprises you in the best possible way. We'll absolutely be back.

We had a much longer wait for pie at Betty's, and were lucky to get a parking place at all. It was mobby, and it wasn't even the weekend! There was about a 10 minute wait to order at the outdoor window, and a 15-20 wait for our slices. Most of the people ahead of us seemed to be getting pie shakes. In addition to the apple pie slice, we bought a toffee cream one. We ate it soon after our visit. It was delicious. The pale crust reminded me of shortbread, the filling light, sweet, and creamy, with what seemed to be Heath bits throughout. It was great and surprisingly not filling at all. As for the apple pie comparison, Betty's version was more cohesive a crust and easier to eat, but it was also surprisingly bland. The thicker crust at the edge was dry, too. The fillings from both bakeries were quite close, both good. From Betty's, we liked the cream pie slice much more than the apple. For classic double-crust apple, Rustic was best between the two.

She left the wrong one at the table (smoky chicken wild rice) and said the kitchen was just heating up the corn chowder I ordered and it would be out on a minute. Three minutes later, the "corn chowder" was brought out. It was not hot and did not taste good. When the wait staff came out again, I asked her to take it because it wasn't good and her reply was "I'll see if the kitchen forgot something ". Wait....what?? I also ordered the forest mushroom flatbread. It looked pretty but this is a combination that should not exist. The flatbread was cut and then two fried eggs and arugula were place on top so you could not take a bite without losing the egg and salad. Also...when you say it is a "forest mushroom" flatbread, it should actually have wild mushrooms or just call it "Mushroom Flatbread ". On a positive note, the smoky chicken wild rice soup was delicious and the manager stopped by with her apology and a desert on the house. Hopefully I was just here on an off day
