Before beginning training with Crystal I tried several gym classes focused on weights & strengthening exercises. The classes were clear & focused. However they lacked the personal focus of a trainer. With Crystal's guidance I understand how & why the work I am doing is helping me reach my goal. That understanding was not possible in a gym class with one instructor and many people following along.  I am not part of the power lifting competitions hosted by Sahaurita Gym. My…read morepuppy had no training to speak off when I got him so I was in desperate need of training to include house training as my puppy was not house trained and we all know puppies will go when they to go. I acclimated with my puppy before I let him go to "puppy school". I was given a reasonable rate as he was going to be trained in house. I could not have asked for the best trainer, Natasha set up a neutral place to transfer my puppy to her capable hands. During training, I received a daily "report card and short video about Sarge "my puppy's progress. That in itself showed just how much he got the training in a short span of time, so I was eagerly waiting everyday for his "report card". I was amazed. When his three week training was done and I passed my "training test" to see how Sarge would respond to my voice commands and was amazed at how he quickly adapted to commands coming from me even though I hadn't brought him home yet. Natasha put me through my paces to ensure I knew how and when to give commands and what to do if commands were not met on first try. I could never thank Natasha enough for the incredible job she did in training my puppy. Once home, he has been such a different and disciplined dog. Sarge is so eager to play wants to be put through his paces. I would so very highly recommend United Canine to anyone who needs dog training. Natasha is amazing. Natasha, Sarge says bark, bark and thank you. Also, I used their boarding services because I know my dog is being cared for when I have to leave town for a few days. The Building Bonds online reactive dog course is informative and paced so that the lessons feel digestible and achievable. We also have done private training, including many BAT sessions in the park with other dogs, and a few group classes. Training with Building Bonds always feels fun, educational, and humane. Kim is knowledgeable of many frameworks for helping fearful and overexcited dogs, which is great for owners who become dog training nerds, but she will always go back to your dog's strongest skills if you want to stick with the basics. I'm so grateful to have worked with Kim.

Kim taught me a lot about my dog's personality and has taught ME how to get the best responses from her. Kim tailors the training to the dog. She even changed the lesson from 3 hours to 6 half hours because she felt it was better for my dog (a pekingese). Dog training is not cheap; however it is much cheaper than a ticket and fine. (In Tucson, a loose dog is a felony.) Her business is very professional. Sets appointments, sends reminders and is prompt. I no longer drive, and she was even willing to come to my home in Sahuarita/Green Valley at no extra charge. A great, great trainer!!

He still has some issues with "puppy brain" but he waits to go out and come in the door, he will sit, walk on a loose leash and stay. The training is intensive and oriented to reinforce proper behavior with commands and gestures. I am very pleased with the results and highly recommend Andrew as a trainer. I also purchased his book from Amazon and find it to be an excellent resource to reinforce knowledge on specific commands and as a general resource for training help.

Using his methods we instantly had results and in our case it really was a "one and done" Other trainers purpose seems to be to get you to buy their long term package or they use lots of food treats to correct behavior.
