Greetings fellow consumers . . …read more So, we purchased a Precor Treadmill ($2,000+) a few months ago to assist in my rehab (definitely before the Covid-19 drama) . . . & on this particular day (20 May 20) I decided to stop by the store to seek clarification regarding an ongoing issue we've been having (since Precor did not return my calls regarding this issue) . . . & upon entering the store the saleswoman (before saying ANYTHING else, says to me (with her hands extended in a crossing guard 'STOP' motion) . . . "Didn't you read the signs on the door!!!" . . . to which I said "yeah, it said "No Public Restrooms" . . . & her reply was condescendingly (to say the least) "you need to read all the signs" . . . . yeah . . . 'customer service 101' . . . don't treat customers like their your children with your condescending tone . . . We both were wearing masks when I entered the store . . . & before I even got within 10-15 feet of her . . . she made her condescending statements (with her crossing-guard stance) . . . In any case, the point of my visit was to simply ask a question (behind my mask AND the CDC's suggested 6' distance) . . . since Precor did not return my calls . . . and she was absolutely NOT helpful . . .which is bizarre to me as she was incredibly helpful when we were making our purchase . . . which I believe is a testimony to their customer service "BEFORE" the sale . . . service after . . . not so great . . . (euphemism). So, my take home message is this: If you know what you're looking for & you don't need assistance in the process . . . this is a fine place as they seem to carry quality products . . . however, IF you need customer service . . . you'd be better-off shopping anywhere else . . . Walmart, Target or even the internet . . . as that's pretty much the quality of 'after purchase service' you'll receive here . . . p.s., to be clear, if given the option . . . I'd likely not rate Precor as harshly .. . however, AZ Health . . . I'd give lower rating if it were an option. p.s.s., Note to AZ HEALTH: IF you're a retailer & you're not open for 'face to face' customer service (after the state permits you to open) . . . . your signage needs to be BETTER than this . . . & you need to figure that out) . . . though I suspect that I'll miraculously see you post a picture of a sign on your business demonstrating this . . . I spent a long time looking at the workout clothes because that's what interests me a great deal. My husband decided to buy HOKA Bondi 9 shoes for work. Sadly, they didn't really work out for him and I came today to return them. The customer service is so friendly and fast. And when we bought stuff a few days ago we had to we were helped quickly. I was in the store about 30 minutes this morning and nobody came up to ask me if I needed any help or if I had any questions. Been interested in getting some pants for my husband, but I just didn't see what I wanted on the display. The store was clean and I'd be willing to go back again. They have disc golf supplies and discs and that's pretty cool.

The ends were not a standard 2 inch. So I came back yesterday to find a solution. He asked me to trade in the Bar in question , gave me a 60 pct credit on original purchase price , I bought another used curl bar with a military Discount with the stops included. So a better bar , complete for Less net $$ than new collars on EBay. And I could make sure it all fit. He said he would deal with the other bar and figure out a way to make it right later on. For me, this was great service I Highly recommend coming here for used and new discounted sports equipment.

I was able to successfully order the needed parts directly from the supplier at less than half the cost of Tommy Gamez's quote. I will be using another provider to perform the installation of those parts. Nice enough guy but questionable ethics and business model.

Store was very stocked, plenty of merchandise all over unlike some of the other locations I have been to recently. I went in to find some shoes and someone that was with me had some questions about some of their products. I was able to find someone in the shoe department, and he did help me and got the shoes I needed in the size I needed. He was able to advise that there were no black Friday sales or deals on the shoes that I was looking at. The person that was with me asked some questions and the person answering, was some sort of manager, was not very friendly or helpful, and was kind of dismissive and arrogant, but the funny thing was they were wrong and didn't know what they were talking about. When I went to pay for my shoes I showed a coupon and they said it had just expired and could not be used. I was not happy as there were all kinds of deals and coupons for black Friday so not sure why she could not be helpful.

Not only was it cheaper at Big 5 but they were helpful and I was happy to support a local in-person business rather than Amazon or another online retailer. I think I got a better quality item at Big 5 for approximately 60% of what it cost through Amazon so I was very pleased! Not only did they have sporting goods stuff but also shoes, slippers, clothing, pool toys, and even some little plushie toys. I've become too accustomed to ordering stuff online but this was a nice reminder of the importance and convenience of having local brick & mortar stores too!
