I wish I had gone there earlier in my stay just for the ambience lol. There are many things to question about Gardner Montana ;)However, the Gardner market was not one of them. Everybody in there was so polite and friendly. I couldn't believe it. Every time I asked for something everybody was incredibly helpful and there were some really nice ladies that were just totally friendly. The store is stocked to the brim. It has everything, at my hotel they were saying oh you won't find sunscreen or cream there but you know what they had every possible sunscreen and cream available!!! I was able to go there toward my last day and get things that I really needed like water and some sleeping pills since I was in a hotel that was very noisy! I would highly recommend the Gardner market to anyone and just remember when you're on a vacation things are more expensive because people are trying to make money in a small town so don't hold that against them. I love that market and if I lived in Gardner, I would shop there no matter what.

My interaction with staff was friendly, so I don't know about the negative experiences other yelpers had. I even had some cordial exchanges with other tourists in line with me! I am in a 33' Class A Motorhome & due to the fact that there are very few RV campgrounds in the…read morearea (1 KOA for $100 per nite - NOPE) I stayed overnight a few nites at this Walmart waiting for some forwarded mail to catch up with me. Usually, I was one of 4 or 5 RV's staying overnight. Had no problems at all & was able to get all my shopping done too. I had a beautiful view of the mountains all around me, so gorgeous setting. There is a nail salon in this one & I plan on taking advantage of that. I will post a separate review for that later.

Lynn was the employee assisting us, but she was anything but helpful. She acted like doing her job was a massive inconvenience, repeatedly sighed, gave us dirty looks and side-eyes, and had a rude and impatient attitude throughout the entire interaction. She also yelled at another employee in front of us and then yelled at us. We were simply trying to purchase a toy that had already been placed on hold. We were not being difficult or asking for anything unreasonable, yet she treated us like we were a burden for needing assistance. Helping customers is part of working in customer service. If assisting people makes Lynn this irritated, then she should not be working in a position where helping people is literally her job. Customers should not be made to feel guilty or uncomfortable for asking an employee to do what they are there to do. Her constant sighing, glaring, yelling, and disrespectful attitude were completely unacceptable. GET HER FIRED!!!!!
