    Just bought a pre owned Acura RDX from Madison Honda. Chad Sanders was our salesperson. Chad is awesome on every level. I'd highly recommend working with him. With all car dealerships, I strongly suggest doing your homework on all of the fees above and beyond the mandatory sales tax and doc fees BEFORE the test drive.

    Our experience with Chad Sanders at Madison Honda had to have been the most easy, less stressful, process I have ever experienced. This was our first time getting a car like this. We were used to the craigslist life and getting old cars from strangers on the streets. Chad was aware of our stresses and urgency of a car, especially since my husband was hurt from a car accident. I don't feel like he took advantage of our urgency by pushing cars on us. He knew we had a specific budget and was very straight forward if it would work or not. With my husband at home resting and me at work, he was nice enough to help us through this process by text. Very personal indeed but it helped us so much and helped make carefully thought out decisions since we were not under so much pressure in person. As we were submitting our info on the website, someone did call us and tried to take over and push push push a car on us. We were confused and instantly overwhelmed, not happy about this at all. We mentioned this to Chad, who was unaware of the situation and handled it. Moving forward we did not qualify for a lease but he didn't give up on us and found something, I feel was a better car and option down the line, which was to finance. It was a tiny bit over our budget but we could make it work, just like anything. The process was seamless and easy, and next thing you know the car was on our insurance already. We went there tested the car and signed papers and that was it! Literally drove off like, "wait, that's it? We have a car?" Hahaha. Chad you are the best! Very honest straight forward person that cared about us and I appreciate that so much. Thank you!!!

We went back that night, test drove the car, talked with Kyle (again, "talked", no pressure). He took the time to answer to every question we had and explained everything in detail. It was more of a conversation than a sales transaction. We explained what we were looking for, in terms of deal (money down, monthly payment, etc.). Kyle introduced us to Abood, helped us explain exactly what we were looking for and we were told "No problem. We hear you and will do our best. If it doesn't turn out to be the deal you are looking for, no worries, but we'll call you in the morning." Next day, my wife got the call and the deal we talked about the night before was they deal made happen. No sweat, no stress, no anxiety. We walked in later that afternoon. Car was prepped, big red bow on it, papers ready to sign, and my wife as out of there in under an hour. THANK YOU Kyle, Abood, William (our delivery specialist) and everyone at Smythe. Less than a year after purchase, the check engine light came on, and after several visits, I was told there was carbon buildup on the intake valves -- a well-known issue in VW engines. What makes this worse is that when I first brought the car in, they cleared the warning light without doing any real repair, and told me everything was fine. The light came back the very next day. Then, instead of honoring their warranty or taking responsibility, they quoted me $1,400 + tax for a repair that should have been addressed during the warranty period. Communication with their staff was frustrating and inconsistent. Every time I tried to get straight answers, I got different excuses. The dealership seems more interested in pushing sales than standing behind the vehicles they sell. I've already filed a complaint with Volkswagen of America and the BBB because customers deserve honesty, not avoidance and blame-shifting. If you value transparency, accountability, and integrity -- please avoid this dealership. They treat customers like a problem, not a priority.

We stopped by Route 22 Honda without an appointment and were greeted by Juan David. We asked if they had any 2023 CPO CR-V EX-Ls available. He let us know they only had one on the lot and offered to show it to us. Unfortunately, we didn't like the color combination. He then checked their database and other lots for inventory that matched our preferences. Juan brought over a senior sales manager, Gio, who confirmed they didn't have the year and spec we were looking for anywhere in their system. He suggested considering a new CR-V instead. While we weren't planning to buy new, we appreciated the suggestion and were open to the conversation. What stood out was that neither Gio nor Juan pressured us or tried to push a sale. They were transparent about the out-the-door pricing and gave us a clear breakdown of the costs; no games or endless "let me check with my manager" delays. In the end, we purchased a brand-new 2026 CR-V from them. The price was fair, but more importantly, we were well taken care of. One thing I didn't like, though it's more about the dealership than Juan or Gio, is that they charge a fee for using a credit card. Covering credit card processing fees is part of running a business, and they shouldn't be passing that cost on to customers

I really liked the way it drives and it has the cargo space my family needs. I reached out to Michael about possibly trading in our CT6 for the XT6 and he quickly sent me numbers the same day. He was able to get me a great deal. I couldn't be happier. I did everything online, Michael knows we have a 4 year old, and he had everything ready for when we arrived. We were literally there for less than 20 minutes. Dealing with Al the Finance Manager was also a pleasure. I highly recommend Open Road Cadillac and Michael Napuli.

At the time of purchase,…read morethe salesperson, Rodrigo, informed me and showed me documentation stating that the total financed cost of the vehicle, including taxes and all additional fees, would be $42,000. However, in May, I received a bank statement showing the total financed cost as approximately $49,000, including taxes and fees. This represents an unexpected increase of about $7,000 that was never disclosed or discussed during the purchase process. I clearly explained to Rodrigo the budget I had and specifically stated that I did not want the total cost to exceed $42,000. He assured me not to worry and confirmed both verbally and through the documentation shown to me that the final total would remain at $42,000. Since receiving the statement, I have made several attempts to contact Open Road Cadillac of Morristown to resolve this issue and correct these discrepancies. Unfortunately, my phone calls and messages have been ignored, and I have not received any response. I believe dealerships are obligated to clearly and honestly disclose all costs at the time of sale. Increasing the total amount after the purchase without proper disclosure is misleading and appears deceptive and fraudulent toward customers.

When I originally went in, the person helping me didn't seem interested in closing the deal. Big mistake. Huge. Julia Roberts. So I left. 3 weeks later, dealership calls ME asking (begging?) me to come back in. I walk out with a top of the line vehicle within an hour and a great salesman. #2. During the panny, Husband took the car for oil change service when it was under maintenance warranty and they tried to play games. Woulda been better off at Jiffy Lube with all the services they were trying to tack on. What they don't know is my brother is a mechanical engineer at Caterpillar. He designs engines for a living. Do not try me. #3. Visited again last week to show my husband the new models. I'm a firm No on these because they don't come in manual but I wanted to show him all the same. A saleswoman - Anastasia- immediately came over to talk about the car with us, demonstrate the features, etc. It was a great interaction. We roll 3 deep when it comes to big purchases, race, gender, and immigration. We've been dismissed in these encounters more times than I can count. It's (sadly) refreshing when we're treated with dignity. Unless MINI corrects their error and offers new models in manual transmission we'll continue to pass BUT I was really happy about the customer service Anastasia provided. My experience with this dealership up until this point was lukewarm at best - she has improved my opinion of this place exponentially. Thanks Anastasia!

    My sales rep, Brian, replied to my email stating I found a lower price as " bad business ",…read moresupposedly agreed to match price. I guess me doing homework amounts to bad business...The GM agreed to reimburse for trip made there from Connecticut to sign paperwork, never received payment. I was given temporary plates which later expired . I emailed business manager asking when plates might arrive, told not to speed or run any lights which is ridiculous, if plates are expired then car is towed without running lights or speeding. I had to take Lyfts to and from work in mean time. I won't buy from here again.
