Bought an Audi TT. Izzy sold the car to us. He confirmed that the car was well cared for and service always done by Audi. However since we bought it we have been having trouble. From the engine check light, low oil pressure light ECM. Having fixed all that...the recent rains we found the car flooding with water on passenger side. It is now back in garage again!!! We tried calling Izzy back and let him know of all these problems. But his response was that he will call back. And he never calls back!!! Terrible experience. We have lost so much money in repairs. We bought the car and did not negotiate the price either as we were advised we are getting a reliable car. But this is the worse car dealership we have been to. I bought my first BMW 750i from this dealer and if this is an encouragement to them, I would be delighted to share it to the world. At least this is the most I could do. Danny was the guy who helped me and administered the entire selling experience. Nick also helped and very nice as well. They are honest, straightforward and efficient people. You feel that they know exactly where you are coming from us a buyer and empathy is very evident. Specifically, they will tell you what is not proper and unethical. Case in point was the hidden charges which is something that they don't do. They will tell you straight - Selling Price + Sales Tax + Plates and Docs Fee and that's it.. As an immigrant myself, its very refreshing that you still feel the old America through your experience with these guys. (My dad used to boast when he tells me stories about how good USA is). People are nice, honest and supportive of your concerns. I say this because a lot of tier 2 dealers specially in NY where I live, charge a huge fee outside of the normal standard fees that you pay when buying a car. They call it "hidden fees" and please, go straight to the point, make a phone call first and ask these hidden fees right away so it won't waste your time. GT Motors advertised a 2005 Honda Element as vehicle with NO RUST. Not the case. Upon taking delivery, had car inspected that revealed extensive rust/corrosion on vehicle undercarriage. Asked dealer to take vehicle back and refund purchase price; they refused. I now have to bear cost of having this vehicle repaired despite advertised as a NO RUST car. Stay away from these folks; they are dishonest in their advertising and won't stand behind their word to make it right. Ken C. read more

I purchased my Saab Convertible from GT Motors ten days ago, and developed a very high opinion for Izzy and John at GT Motors. Saabs are a rare breed (as are us Saab owners) so my search went far and wide, both interns of location of the car and internet sites used. From the get go, I was impressed by the presentation offered by GT. This car had significantly more photos than most of the others, allowing me to get a good view, before traveling from Long Island, NY to NJ. I was not disappointed upon making the (2 hour) trip. Izzy and John had already provided me with a detailed history of the car on the phone, and it was clear that they were not trying to hide anything. He showed me every corner and crevice, including the hydraulics for the convertible top, highlighted a couple of nicks and scratches (which was very minor for a 15 year old car). When it got to the finances, we had a frank discussion comparing this case to other listings I had brought. Most importantly, there ware NO hidden fees or surprises and we reached a price with which I thought was very fair. I have been waiting for three months for the title of my car. I have requested any information about why it is taking this long and I only get word of mouth. The same word of mouth that told me two weeks I would get my title. I was told this week I now have to wait eight more weeks. This is unacceptable. I bought my car in Oct. I only have a police report from them. I have nothing in writing from anyone who is giving them this eight-week time frame. I was told in Oct it would take 2 weeks. Then in Nov., it would be two more weeks. In Dec. I was three or four weeks. It is January and I have nothing. My insurance agency found that a title was never issued to GT Motors for my car. Was looking for a Ford Escape with low mileage and GT Motors had it. The truck was perfect in every regard and seemed to good to be true. Went to Ford after buying it to have it inspected for any problems. The service manager said it was a great car and was very impressed. Found nothing wrong with it. Nothing needed to be fixed. The brakes were new and tires had alot of tread. You cannot ask for anything more from a used car purchase. GT supplied a great car with no problems which is what you hope for but do not always get. However I was still a bit surprised to see the owner bend over backwards to make sure I am happy with the purchase. John took care of all of the details including dealing with the shipping headaches; he was always responsive, always on the ball and most importantly completely honest. We recently purchased a used Jetta from John and it couldn't have been a better experience. This was our first used car purchase from a used car dealer and quite frankly when we arrived at the lot and found a hundred cars squeezed into a small patch of land wedged into lower Morristown and a trailer for an office, I couldn't imagine buying a tire from this establishment, much less a car. Buy we did after he showed us a perfect car for my son and I found our negotiations to be very reasonable. Initially concerned by a CarFax report that suggested structural damage, John explained why that was not the case. A thorough inspection by our long-time mechanic supported his conclusions and information on the web explains why many reports check this box for minor bumper dings. Two days later, we drove the car off the lot and our entire family couldn't be more pleased. We would definitely go back when in the market again. read more
