Today my grandson and I had to come out and enjoy the festival at Suwanee Town Center Park. The day is beautiful day too to bring the kids and pets too play in the water eat some good food and listen to music. There are several restaurants surrounding the park too chose from. They have a fun water fountain for the kids to play in. The only thing that's missing is a little shaded area on those extremely hot sunny days.

    Water fountain for dogs!

I love this park! It's beautiful and I find myself visiting often, whether it's just to walk my dogs or to go to an event. There are sidewalks that go throughout and along the perimeter of the park, and a stage for performances. There are also plenty of sculptures and art pieces to look at scattered throughout. During the summer, there's even a fountain play area for kids. If you're hungry, there's a few places surrounding the park that you can grab a meal, snack, or dessert at (Mellow Mushroom, Ippolito's, Yogli Mogli, Jilly's Cupcakery, & more). There's also a few shops and boutiques here, too. If there is an event in Suwanee, it's probably being held here. Food Truck Fridays are on the first Friday of the month during the warmer months. Woofstock is held here (I've never seen so many cute dogs in one place at one time before)! Lots of festivals are here (Suwanee Fest, Suwanee Wine Festival, Suwanee Beer Fest, etc). I even saw Who's Bad (the longest running Michael Jackson tribute band) perform here once! Definitely a park worth checking out. It's my favorite part of Suwanee! :)

Beautiful 9/11 memorial in the park

Beautiful park! It has a shopping center &a plenty of eateries. A water fountain area for kids to play in & they do music events for free. I came here almost every day to walk/run/shop/eat when I was on GA. My favorite part was the 9/11 memorial they have. What a breathtaking monument of such a tragic event. If you're in the area, I would stop by. It's a great park to visit.

I wouldn't make this a destination for exercise (I like 2-3 mile walks), since the park is small and there is a very short walking trail around the perimeter of the mixed use development. The park itself is so clean that you would feel okay with eating right off of the manicured grass. It is nice to walk the loop and then walk behind the shops for a stroll through the adorable neighborhood behind Town Center. It would be nice to come here to dine at a restaurant and then leisurely stroll around. I liked that they had a piece of the World Trade Center and a piece of the Berlin Wall as part of the monuments.

I have not spent much time in Suwanee but since I have joined a Gwinnett running group - we meet around here quite a bit. We had a Saturday morning run & met at Suwanee Town Center. Although we ran around surrounding neighborhoods, our run started and ended here. After our run we ate at Brown Bag Deli & Bagel - hmm delicious! On this particular day, they were setting up for a concert & family night in the park. I will definitely be back to run again & hang out!

Not really a great place to jog but seem safer than most parks. Has nice art and a relaxing atmosphere. Has plenty of shops and restaurants walking distance from the parking lot.

It's almost embarrassing to admit that I'm just now visiting Town Center Park, especially since…read moreit's so close to my home and right next to the post office I stop by nearly every day. But what a delightful surprise it turned out to be! What I thought would be a simple morning walk quickly became a full experience of art, community, and nature. The park is beautifully designed, offering something for every type of visitor. Wide walking and hiking paths weave through the grounds, inviting you to slow down and enjoy the scenery. Families can enjoy the spacious playground, athletes can hit the sand for a game of beach volleyball, and history buffs will appreciate the thoughtful and moving Army Memorial - Greater good by Michael Szabo. It's the kind of space that effortlessly blends recreation with reflection. While strolling, I had a great chat with one of the friendly groundskeepers who told me about the Saturday farmers market, as well as seasonal concerts and food trucks that make the park come alive with energy, music, and flavors. It's clearly more than just a park--it's a gathering place where the community comes together. As an art lover, the sculpture garden was the highlight of my visit. The pieces are striking, and I found myself particularly drawn to Esther and Miles, two incredible works by Olu Amoda of Smyrna, GA. The way he transforms recycled metal into such expressive, beautiful forms is nothing short of inspiring. Town Center Park is more than a patch of green space--it's an experience. Whether you're here to exercise, enjoy art, take the kids out to play, or immerse yourself in community events, you'll leave refreshed, inspired, and wondering why you didn't visit sooner.

The McGinnis Reserve Lake and Walking trail is interesting. Part of the perks of being a member of…read morethe McGinnis Reserve subdivision, non-members do have access to the walking trail via the Suwanee Greenway, which rests right along this subdivision. The lake that the paved walking trail surrounds is 20 acres total, and the trail is generally kept up fairly well, minus the side stepping all of the geese poop. The lake itself, which you can't fish out of, is a pretty clear and vibrant lake. Wildlife i've seen have included the aformentioned geese, cranes, and i've seen a few turtles as well. There's no mileage on the actual trail, but I do believe it's less than a mile and is flat in all but a couple of spots with a high hill. There are two access points to the walking trail and lake, one being near the suwanee greenway trail opening (very close to the entrance tot he subdivision), and another via a set of stairs, which leads to the actual subdivision homes. There is no direct parking for walkway access, outside of street parking. I parked at the clubhouse at the rear and walked to the trail. It was about a 12 minute walk, so you'll get a work out in when you combine that with the trail walk itself. Do you HAVE to visit this trail? Well, if you're not pooped out from the grenway, it's a nice lake to take in. If you live here, you definitely should be here daily. But I wouldn't make a special trip to this trail alone. Another fun outdoor stop worth checking out. Give it a shot if you can!
