    Lawn view from unpaved lot

Great day to hang out at the lawn for "Pizza with Police." Pizza with Police was an event put on by our local police to connect with the community. While supplies lasted, the following were provided for free: 1 Slice of Papa John's pizza 1 Kona Ice was given to 1st 100 patrons 1 cupcake 1 bottle of water As a new resident of Lawrenceville, I am unaware of how often they have this event, but the kids really enjoyed it. The kids were able to meet officers, interact with the K-9s and see equipment up close and personal. As for the event area itself: Great open lawn for all sorts of events There are several parking lots including paved and unpaved. Conveniently located off of Jackson Street Looking forward to more events in downtown Lawrenceville. It has so much character.

Having fun today enjoyibg the sun with my grandson. He wanted to ride his bicycle really bad, before I had to go to work. Decided to come here. This park is a nice, clean spot to enjoy the sun. The best park about it, is that it's right nice door to the Lawrenceville police station. This park always has alot of local events and festivals here. The only thing I can say that I dislike is that... I wish they had some covered seating, for the those extremely hot days and water fountains. Oh! It's a pet friendly park as well. But! They don't have any poop stations around to pick up behind the pets (Bomber!!!) But! Other than that it's a very nice park.

This park is great! It is now one of our family's regular hang-out spots. There's a big ole turf slide that our kids love & the playground is clean (&new). They also have 2 beach volleyball courts & a pretty large & fairly level open field as well. The highlight of this whole park might be the bathrooms though . The restrooms are "private," bathrooms and are HEATED/COOLED & very clean. No other public restroom comes close in terms of awesome-level.

Women's bathroom. No soap, but we brought our own sanitizer.

My children and I love this park! Located in the heart of downtown Lawrenceville and within walking distance to several stores and restaurants. Beautiful community and well kept area. Great for kids of all ages and adults can enjoy it too. Great scenery. We love the turf grass on the playground, the sand in the volleyball court, very clean bathrooms, and plenty of grassy area and seating spread out! They even have a Little free library where you take a book and share a book.

This is a great little find!! I was looking to take my kids somewhere different yesterday and we passed by this little Park in the heart of Lawrenceville. They have a great open parking lot easy access to the playground A large open grassy lawn with a section for movies in the summer time great for bringing your family. It's also serves in the wintertime a great spot to throw the ball with your child a football game or any sort of fun activities in an open grassy area The playground itself was very great very different instead of birch or mulch that would hurt your child's feet it was good old-fashioned green fake grass. Perfect for the kids to run around on. The playground equipment itself is different which is something my kids were looking for very geometric. They had several almost like merry-go-rounds that were circular that you can run and jump in as well as a large geometric ball where you can climb up in different ropes. It is a great spot for children small as well as old. Outside the playground in the same vicinity you'll find a large volleyball court. Six and below my kids had a great time running and playing in it. It was a great environment for the family. We are really glad we found this playground And the best part was a recycling sign that encourage folks to recycle as well as trash bins that have trash plastic and recycles great for teaching the children to preserve the Earth.

Yesterday me and my son happened to stop here. My husband happened to be attending a funeral down…read morethe street from here and we were a little too early to pick him up. While driving less than a mile from the church we noticed the blue sign that kinda sit off from the road. We were only trying to kill a little time and I love fishing so I decided to check it out. We pulled in and went to check into the Bait Shop as we were instructed to by the signage on property. There were two men on duty and they both were friendly, helpful and encouraged me to try the property out since it was my first time being there. They had everything a person would need to start their fishing adventure. There was a nominal fee that was well worth the price to enjoy the lake. As you entered the lake part you could see geese and ducks enjoying the property, there was a boating launch part if you wanted to go out in the middle and fish and there was a bridge that extended across it for up close fishing. The bridge also led to a part of the lake that was exclusive for children 12 and under. It obviously was stocked with fish to help encourage the younger kids to get involved with fishing. They had a little paddle boat attached to the bridge if you wanted to go out in that. I saw multiple families out there enjoying the lake with their children. It is definitely a family oriented place for you and the kids to enjoy the joy of fishing. I saw a man catch some catfish and another man catch something that he put up too quick for me to identify. There was benches out there for you to sit and had several spots where it appeared someone had a fire pit started the old fashioned way out of wood. Next to the fire pits were trees that had already been chopped so you could easily start a night fire if need be. The noise level was respectable as everyone seemed to be totally focused on the sport of fishing. Me and my son were not there long at all but while there we sat on the benches enjoying the waterfall that was in the middle of the lake, my son walking up to the ducks and their babies and enjoying the peaceful serene scenery. As we exited it also asked that you stop into the bait shop and check out. Again, the man was friendly flashing me a smile and wave as we drove off. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone interested in fishing.
