My partner and I found 2 dogs wandering the road and needed to find somewhere to take them to be chipped and find an owner. Upon googling nearby vets that were open (it was a Saturday), MVH was the only one open! We called to let them know we were on the way and they provided leashes and waters for the pups when we got in. Thank goodness they were chipped and we were able to find the owner. 10/10 service!

Why was this not treated the first time? The cat was put under anesthesia so it's easier to examine isn't it?

2 visits. Less than 2 weeks. Over 700 dollars. I sent an email to express my concerns but the response I was given did not address my concerns. So all I can do is post a review to express my concerns. This was our first time using Madison Veterinarian. We finally captured our cat after she was on the run outside for a couple of months.. We explained to the vet about her being out and pointed out the neck scab/hair loss around neck. Our cat had to be anesthetized in order to fully examine her. After a couple of shots and a clean bill of health which cost over 500 dollars we thought all was good. Nope, we had to bring her back a week later in which we saw another veterinarian. We were told she had a fungus on her neck in which she received an antibacterial shot and wipes. Why this was not caught the first time even after pointing it out.. no idea. The pic is of the neck just a few days after she received her "clean bill of Heath" .

Madison Veterinary Clinic is just awesome and has been very accommodating as far as scheduling Max for his physical therapy sessions. He loves going and I receive a report card documenting his progress after each visit. Max is very relaxed even during his laser treatments, as you can see in the picture below and he benefits tremendously from these sessions each week. Thank you Madison Vet Hospital for taking such great care of Max.

Notice anything wrong? Of course, can't see if the black nails are bleeding, but it's pretty obvious in the white ones. Ouch.

Not only did she take fantastic care of my pets, but she also handled my diabetic cat's insulin shots with ease and care, which gave me peace of mind. Throughout my time away, Amanda kept me updated with regular photos and messages, so I could see how my pets were doing, even with the time difference. It was so thoughtful of her to keep me connected to them when I missed them so much. When my trip got unexpectedly extended by two weeks, Amanda was incredibly flexible and didn't raise the rate, simply updating my invoice until I returned. I really appreciated her understanding and fairness. The property where my pets stayed is spacious and perfect for animals to roam and play, and you can tell Amanda and her team genuinely care for the animals like their own. I'm so grateful to have found such a trustworthy and reliable place for my pets. If you're looking for someone to board your furry friends, I highly recommend Amanda--she knows exactly what she's doing and will treat your pets with the utmost love and attention. 10/10, would absolutely recommend!

UPDATED (10-14-18): Just wanted to update, as my dog, Irish, has stayed countless times now for…read moreday-play. I had family from Germany in town for 2 wks. Irish was able to spend time with us, but because we were going to various places ...she couldn't come most of the time. It was also too hot to leave her in the car & she still deals strongly with separation anxiety. So nearly every day for 2 wks (not the weekends), she did stay here for day-play. She seems happy when I pick her up each time & even knows where we're going when I say she is going to have a "FUN DAY"! Instead of lying down in the car, she stays upright until we arrive, which is unusual! She even wags her tail at times when I pick her up, which if you read below, this is a big deal, since she is an older rescue dog I recently adopted. The AWESOME STAFF are starting to get to know her & her "ways" a bit more, which is helpful. More than they realize, they have helped me out quite a bit. I do pray she will get better with being left alone at home for short periods of time. However, until we get to that point, I will continue to bring her here when I have dr's appts and/or errands that will take several hours. This way I know she's cared for & won't be "as lonely" if she were just left at home. I do hope they'll start to have day-play on weekends, which it sounds like they may do in the near future. That will help out greatly, as I don't want to just board her, but actually give her some social interaction with other dogs, if I need to go out-of-town for any reason. I also like the cameras in upgraded rooms, so you can watch your dog while they are in there. However, I hope to see more cameras on the premises, so you can watch while they are playing, as well. This, too, may happen in near future, as I'm sure it's a matter of funds. Lastly, I hope they end up with some kind of "frequent day-play and/or boarding" program. Where you can buy X-amount of day-plays and/or boarding in advance to get a reduced price. That would make for an ideal gift for someone! KUDOS TO STAFF! OLDER POST: I've only had my dog, Irish, since April 30, 2018. She is nearly an 8-yr-old rescued Beagle that I ended up adopting. She had major surgery for 11 tumors back in April (one literally the size of a baseball). The vet firmly believes she has cancer and could live for 6 months or 6 years ...there's just no way to know. Either way, she's a sweetheart of a dog and I know I made the right decision in adopting her back in mid-May. Irish does come with a lot of separation anxiety, as well as being scared of loud noises ...particularly thunder & children. Due to all of this, it has been difficult to leave her alone. I've tried various methods to keep her calm while I have to run out to do errands & such. Unfortunately, it will take a lot more time with a lot of love & patience. However, I'm willing to do what it will take. This includes the added expense of putting her in doggy day-care -even if she is not much into "playing" given her age & health. She seems happy enough to be around other dogs & people ...more so than just staying at home while I'm out doing my errands. I'm grateful that Paradise Pet is local & willing to take last-minute drop-ins & of course long-term boarding, if needed. I did use their long-term boarding last month for an unexpected death in the family that took me out to Texas. Paradise Pet took very good care of Irish while I was away. That was her 1st time there. She's been there 2 more times just for day-play. I will be bringing her back for this again soon! Over-all, I'm very satisfied with Paradise Pet & will definitely recommend to anyone that's looking for such a place to either board and/or do day-play for their dog. They take cats, too, but I don't have a cat, so can't give any info regarding that. BIG-BIG KUDOS TO ALL EMPLOYEES HERE ....and to management for hiring such great & caring employees! I truly mean it, as it makes all the difference for both Irish & me! Blessings to each! ~ Deb & Irish ~ (Madison, AL)

My dog was perfectly fine when I dropped her off but died a week after being picked up from this horrible place. No one should ever use this facility if you care anything about your pet. These people should not even be in the business of boarding animals because they don't care about your pets.

He did a trial run and they said he was one of the best trials they ever did and we felt confident in leaving him overnight for a short trip. All was well so we decided to book him again for our 3 night vacation. Our dog did not come back the same, he has been anxious and timid since returned and that isn't even the worst part. The second we got in the car we noticed that his back paw was hurt. One of his nails had been completely ripped off. Not broken, completely gone and the quick completely exposed. When we called them to ask what had happened they claimed no knowledge, said it was a common injury - which I have never seen before- and basically did not care at all. We had to take him to the vet and have him sedated so they could cut the quick back. He is now on pain medicine and antibiotics and no word from the Ark. I understand accidents happen but we weren't even informed and they did not care. Even worse, we discovered an abrasion on his neck from the tight collar band they put on him to identify him. It's very clear to us that they do not care about or pay attention to your pets safety. We are absolutely gutted that our boy was treated poorly by people we trusted him with. Not to mention the vet bills we have had to pay on top of the boarding expense which is very close to what we paid for our holiday which was quickly ruined when we came home to discover our dog had been mistreated and hurt. We will never be back to this place and we highly urge that you do not use them either, they don't deserve to be left with the care of your pet and it's clear that if something does happen under their supervision that they do not care. Please take your pets elsewhere.

I had one instance last year, where my dog was previously on a certain combination of medicines with his food. I brought him this time, and there was one deletion from the regimen, and a change. I had forgotten about the med we deleted and so only described current meds. About 10 minutes after I left, Regine actually called me on my cell to check about the med we deleted! She remembered what he got before and was concerned I had just forgotten to bring it and wanted to catch me before I left town. How many kennels can you say you trust to have that kind of care and attention??!! The facility is very clean, and she is making improvements all the time. She is VERY caring and obviously loves animals so much. My dogs are happy to go there, time after time, and I think that says it all! The grooming: I've taken my cat and dogs and they do a good job. But when I picked them up, there was still some loose hair, and the nails were a little long. For boarding, I won't go anywhere else. Regine has my undying loyalty and she deserves it.
