We contacted cornerstone veterinarian hospital after receiving a strong recommendation from a friend. Looking back on the past week I am so thankful for that recommendation because we landed in the place we needed to be for the tough time that was ahead of us. Although we were not current patients and their schedule was filled, they fit my dog in for the x-ray that we needed the next day. The diagnosis the x-ray confirmed was what we were suspecting but hoping not to find. Both veterinarians that spoke to us about their review were thorough patient and kind. They fully explained our options for treatment and what we could expect as a best case result. I appreciate not only the warm care we received, also the low-cost of the services. They charged me a third of what I was quoted by four other veterinarian clinics in Huntsville. They have my high recommendation.

We've been going to Dr. Waite for years. He is compassionate and knowledgeable. His fees are competitive also.

Shr was kind and patient with me. However it was disappointing not to get to check on Polo via an easy video app like previously. They can administer vaccines and Lemmy got his vaccines without a hitch apparantly. Both animals were happy and we were thrilled to pick them up on Sunday at 3:45. Typically you can get in fifteen minutes early on Saturday and Sunday for pickup. The staff were friendly and kind! I recommend West Madison Veterinary Clinic!!!

Same exact service, a checkup and routine vaccinations. From the beginning this place just kept trying to sell me on a bunch of tests that weren't needed for my perfectly healthy dog. X-rays "to see if maybe there's a growth somewhere." My return three weeks later for my dogs follow-up vaccine charged me an extra technician fee on top of the shot itself which I've never seen in 6 previous vets I've taken my dogs and cats over the last decade. On top of all this, they charged roughly 10% more than the other place in town for what seemed to me not as thorough a checkup.

I have had great experiences with Madison Veterinary Hospital. I took one of my cats, Minerva,…read morethere about 2 weeks after I adopted her because she seemed lethargic. Dr. Orr gave us a preliminary diagnosis of FIP, and their office worked with us and other specialists to confirm the diagnosis and manage the disease as best as possible. I took another cat, Molly, there for routine visits, and it looked like she had allergies to vaccines. Dr. Williams made sure to prevent reactions from her next round of vaccines, which went off without a hitch. Yesterday morning, one of my cats, Socks, vomited blood. We called and were able to get an appointment right away. Dr. Orr did surgery yesterday afternoon and Socks is home safe now. In every instance, their office has been very communicative; always willing to answer questions when I call and calling me with updates when they say they're going to. They have recommended other services when needed, including after hours emergency and specialists that have also been excellent. If I ask for am estimate, they provide one, and they have checked with me before performing any additional procedures. Their in house pet pharmacy is a great convenience and their prices for services are reasonable. In addition to the great care Dr. Orr and Dr. Williams have shown my cats, their front desk and vet tech staff have always been polite to me and loving to my cats. I feel like I can trust Madison Vet Hospital and would recommend them to anyone seeking care for their pets.

Outstanding Professional Help…read more We found Companion Animal Care about five years ago when my wife and I moved to Huntsville and needed various services for our senior King Charles Cavalier, Rex. Through a number of medical issues that Rex had over the years, Dr. David Alford and his caring staff were always attentive to Rex's (and our) needs and provided expert and empathetic care and advice that helped keep him safe and healthy. Then on April 3, 2024 Rex was severely mauled by a Doberman and his life hung in the balance. Dr. Rhonda Buxton, who was a recent addition to the Companion staff, immediately took charge of the situation. As Rex battled for his life, Dr. Buxton and the staff repeatedly worked on keeping him alive, comfortable, and stable in his recovery. When he took a turn for the worse and we made the difficult decision that it was time to lovingly say goodbye, Dr. Buxton helped ease him out of his pain. With my wife Nancy and I in attendance, we said our goodbyes to the little guy. Throughout the whole experience, the staff at Companion Animal Clinic was exceptionally empathetic and professional, making that period more bearable for Nancy and me. We can't recommend Companion Animal Care highly enough. Lee Hefner Nancy Wasson

He examined him without running any tests on him at all, and told me the mass was just a swollen lymph node on his back leg. He looked at the scabs on him and told me they were "ant bites" and that the "swollen lymph node" was probably due to the ant bites. He sent me home without having anything done to further examine the mass. I felt like something wasn't right after about a week when it had increased in size, so I went to get a second opinion at another vet. They immediately did an aspirate of the mass and told me that it was a mast cell tumor! It has since increased in size in such a short amount of time, and he is currently scheduled to have his leg amputated because of it! I have since switched his food to raw which has completely cleared up the skin issues he was having. This doctor does not care about your babies and only cares about trying to push Science Diet on you at every visit. I have heard from SEVERAL sources that he doesn't like to diagnose "pink elephants."

I always hate that it's hard to find prices for things online anywhere so here's what I've paid there for a female lab mix that's about 40 pounds and a male yorkie that's about 8 pounds. They also gave me an estimate for getting them fixed before I ever had to make an appointment and they let me know if I wanted to wait a month, they were doing a discount. Exam for worms - male yorkie - $27 Worm medicine - male yorkie - $4 Annual exam - $50 each 3 year rabies vaccine for female lab - $34 Heartworm test - $43 each 1 year rabies for male yorkie - $20 These prices may be different depending on a number of different factors, but it should at least give an idea. To get my dogs fixed with a 10% discount, included pain medicine and blood work, about $200 for my male yorkie and about $300 for my female lab mix. I was told about all the costs up front before I ever made an appointment. The doctor called to let me know when each procedure was done and how they were doing. The office also called me the next day to check on them.
