I have recommended friends and family to L&P but mostly because I know they will do good work. I know price and time are important factors when getting your car fixed and I can say that it has been satisfactory each time. The customer service and focus on attention is important. Lair puts a lot of his dedication and knowledge to work and his team is always helpful. It was about time to write an update as I changed cars and needed to replace front break pads and get an oil change. With pricing it is up front, and if you are ever uncertain just ask. I never had a moment where they charged more than needed to and actually they source parts quite quickly. If I need a quick diagnosis or check up they are always down to do that. I keep returning because of the service and of course because cars need the maintenance. It's a good sign that I've been going here since my last review.

I booked online, noted my concerns in the text box, and dropped my car off the next day. After checking in at the office, I walked Joey through my concerns and opted for a Post-Purchase Inspection. Joey sent over the findings quickly and gave me his honest, upfront opinion on what needed immediate attention before my trip versus what maintenance could wait until I reached my destination. He also provided a clear copy of the inspection quotes so there were no surprises. I brought in my Honda Ridgeline for an issue with my AC. Jason worked with me at the front-desk and went above and beyond to understand my issue and the troubleshooting I had already done. He explained to me CONCISELY what the feasible issue may be, and how they were going to approach a diagnosis. Jason was extremely knowledgeable, and followed up promptly to discuss the fix. Pedro was also exceptional. He found the issue (rodent-chewed wires) and repaired it perfectly. When I picked up my car, he was as excited as I was to have helped me. Before Miramar Auto, I took my truck to the Honda dealer, and they charged twice as much for a diagnosis, only to tell me that I would need a new compressor (incorrect diagnosis) and that it would cost twice as much as I ended up paying out the door at Miramar auto. I had originally called a couple days ago to check on appointment availability & if they carried/used my preferred oil. The guy who answered (forgot to ask his name ‍) was extremely friendly & patient. Answered all my questions & gave solid advice. I'll admit I was pre coffee scatter brained today + I had to bring a dog with me lol but all the guys were extremely patient & throughly explained everything. Again, I didn't have to make an appointment and was in & out in about an hour. These guys are quick! Their pricing is fair for the painless experience they provide. It's also nice to not get the third degree for bringing your own products. I'm genuinely bewildered how they only have 4 stars because everything from attitude, service time frames, quality of products/service, prices & professionalism are outstanding. I loved them last year, but now I'm sold. This place is most definitely going to be my regular shop. A bit of a drive for me but 100% worth it. Didn't give me the option to select what tire they replaced it with, but presented it as my only choice at this price. Obviously I don't know anything about cars and was in a tight position because I had just popped my tire and needed to be able to drive my car, but they fully took advantage of me. Please save yourself from getting ripped off and go somewhere else.
