We made our reservation for 1:45pm and arrived around 1:20pm. The photographer Amanda asked us what time our appointment was and when we told her she barked back that we were late. Mind you there was another dad in line with his 6month old with a 1:45pm time slot as well. She took him and his pictures. When she returned she asked us again what time our appointment was and we told her 1:45pm she looked past us and asked the next 2 parties behind us their time and they where 1:30pm and 1:15pm. She took them without acknowledging our reservation. When she came back she told us they ran out of time and we couldn't take pictures. She could not explain why she skipped us when we were on time for our reservation. She said to take it up with corporate but would not give us any number or who to contact. She yelled at us and berated us for waiting until Christmas Eve to take pictures. We had 4 small children and the grandparents with us. The kids were crying after her interaction with us. She called security over and we explained the situation to the officer and they told us she would take our pictures when they returned from break. She made us wait over an hour after our reservation to take our pictures. We made sure we were first in line for our pictures and after returning from break she skipped us again and took another party in line behind us. We reminded her that was not what was discussed with security and that she said she would take our picture after they returned. By the time she took our picture the kids were tired and the baby was crying and not cooperating. It hard to not feel discriminated after our interaction with Amanda. She pulled People behind us who were not people of color and when watching her interaction she is not friendly at all. We get it's the holidays and it's busy but that's why we made our reservation and arrived on time because we respect peoples time. But to be mistreated with the children and grandparent with no explanation or apology feels very targeted. Amanda Gallagher the photographer was unprofessional, racist and a horribly incomplete person.

Man, I can't remember the last time I went to Square One Mall... it's definitely been a whileee!…read moreCame here to check out the Gatcha claw machine store and it was seriously like a blast from the past, walking through memory lane inside. Many parts of the mall looked like it was stuck in the early 2000s & it was sad to see how vacant this mall became. There's really not much left here, besides the large TJMaxx, Best Buy, Dick's Sporting Goods, & Macy's. All the stores looked very outdated, with the exception of the TJMaxx... that was the only store that seemed to have all the stuff you would normally find at other locations. Hopefully more stores are on their way & turn this mall around.

This is a great market area located in Lynnfield. Once you get by the challenge of finding a…read moreparking spot, everything else is gravy. All kinds of stores and restaurants. Some of the top winners for me first of all is the Apple Store. You also have Trader Joe's and Legals.. the yard house is also great. And you have kings for entertainment. I haven't even got started there so many stores. It's a little challenging in the winter with the snow, but it's still a great place to come always has a great atmosphere going on. Anyway good luck with the parking where you're purchasing food to take home and cook or hitting one of the restaurants for drinks. There's a great tequila place that I like in the marketplace. I'm sure you can fulfill any clothing, shoes, hair, dye, restaurant, entertainment, etc., etc. check it out great place.

I can't say enough how poorly this shopping area was designed. We can start with the parking. You…read moredrive into a gauntlet of narrow rotary's, winding roads, angled parking, crosswalks galore, U turns, intersections coming out of nowhere and pedestrians having to cross across all of this to get from store to store, side to side. Aside from the common sense parking lots behind the buildings the whole traffic flow design is congested and treacherous! Perhaps little bridges to walk over the Storrow Drive of the North Shore would be a better thought out plan then having to walk in front of distracted drivers trying to find a place to park and/or the establishment they want to dine at! Also, the handicap parking is a joke. I tried taking my handicap mother to a restaurant, The parking space was still too far for her to walk from to the restaurant, we couldn't even pull up to a door to drop her off as there is nowhere to pull safely to the side to do this. So we had to eat someplace else. Besides that who thought an open air mall in one of the coldest places in the country was a good idea? I remember back in the 60's and 70's when they were enclosing malls, i.e. The North Shore Mall, it's a more pleasurable experience to be in a climate controlled environment when it's below freezing many months of the year. Once you get past the chaos of the driving and finding a parking space. You need to play "find the store I want to go to" unlike a mall where you walk straight down the center and the stores are all line up, there is buildings hiding behind other buildings. It's like a scavage hunt trying to find where you want to go, and it's not enjoyable when it's snowing, raining, icy or just too dang hot or cold! There is no rhyme or reason to any of this design. Also, for the most part, the stores are filled with pretentious bored housewives who many of them NOT ALL but mostly are too stuck up to help you.

I've been fighting with my wardrobe for decades. I've always wanted to show off this cool…read moreeffortless look, but instead, I just run to Banana Republic or Ann Taylor Loft for the safeties. What's been in my closet are tons of safe clothes that are pretty devoid of personality. This is decidedly NOT cool. Then Stephanie and her stylist Sara popped into my life. They went through my closet and my dresser without judgment. They asked me pointed questions about how I felt about my wardrobe and what I wanted from it. I didn't know I felt sad about it until they actually asked that question. After going through everything, I learned a ton about my own style, my wardrobe and what's okay to go together. What's so amazing about this is that I feel excited now instead of dread when I look at my closet. And this was just part one. Dress for your Journey is where they come back after having reviewed what you've got, what your desired style is and what's missing, based on clothes given away from others discards. How perfect is that! They came back with fun pieces. This is what was missing! I now have clothes that are fun and reflect who I am on the inside and want to project on the outside. And they look good, not ridiculous, which is what I was sure I would look like with anything fun! I can't recommend these lovely, non-judgy, super nice people enough. And also, Sara is a magical unicorn wizard. She will put clothes together that you would never think would work and BOOM they totally do. She will make you so happy!

How it appears to work is you can "try before you buy" a membership by making an appointment to swap one item. I'm honestly not sure why an appointment is needed because there was no one else in there when I went for my appointment and the person working in the store doesn't give any one on one attention while you shop. (I preferred this but others might want that). I brought in a nice dress for my swap (brand new with tags), and was surprised to see the condition of most of the clothes available. It's on par with Goodwill. Many things were pilly, faded, stretched out, and some just looked out of style. I took photos of the shoes to show an example of the condition of the items. I was hoping for more of a boutique experience with excellent pieces in good or like new condition. Gently worn is fine for secondhand, but a lot of these things had seen better days. I took my item and left. I can't recommend this place based on what I experienced today.
